Is anyone doing this/done it?

Done my fit test yesterday and done pretty shite

Done the first circuit today, fooking hell, couldnt even manage half of it! I thought id finished the circuit, was feeling pretty chuffed, then i realised that was just the warm up! Jeez

Still callenetics here although DVD still not arrived. I dream of the day that I am cleared by the doc for vigorous activity like Insanity again. Keep going all- you can do it!

Im thinking of doing Pure Cardio again tonight then do Cardio Recovery after it. Just because ive been slacking this week so want to catch up.

Hello everyone, I'm glad to see we are all still persevering with this!
I'm sticking religiously to my calendar so today was cardio recovery, I enjoyed the feeling of not being out of breath but by god those squat and lunge holds go on for ever and ever! I was decidedly wobbly of leg afterwards!!
I'm looking forward to Sunday - I'm going to weigh & measure myself to see if I've changed shape or weight.

My appetite has increased too, but I've just gone with it - we must be burning shitloads of calories!
Did Cardio Power & Resistance this morning, I decided to try extra hard and gave myself a stitch during the warmup! Hahaha!
I forgot to add yesterday, I did the cardio recovery DVD with the music off, for a lot of the moves I wasn't looking at the TV screen and it was lovely listening to Shaun doing his heavy breathing and saying in... out ... in .... out ... etc. #pervert

I'm talking to myself on here but anyway I had to share my exciting news - I have measured myself this morning and I have lost an inch off my waist, hips and each thigh. This pleases me greatly!
Rest day today - 2 weeks completed, 7 to go.

out of sync with the calendar, exercising at home is fucking difficult with constant interruptions and my mood is all over the place Confused

I took 'before' pictures and wrote down my measurements so i can compare when im finished.

How was your fit test, vitocorleone? Mine was okay, still horrifically hard though! I did better on all the moves, some more so than others! I was determined to beat my first fit test results so I did nearly die afterwards.
Onwards and upwards - I have done my plyo circuit for today, not looking forward to tomorrow because it's Pure Cardio AND Cardio Abs. If I don't manage to get up early enough I might have to do one before work and one after. At the moment my alarm goes off at 5am and I leap* into my sports bra and trainers, I'm not getting up any earlier than 5 o'clock! I'm usually home from work by 4.30pm so I could squeeze another session in before I have to get the dinner on. 4.30pm is usually my time for a cuppa and a biscuit though so I'd rather get it out of the way before work if possible. We shall see!

*by leap, I mean struggle in a bleary-eyed fashion

I forgot to add - *Mitchy1nge - don't lose heart - just jump back in on whatever day the calendar says. We are still doing the same selection of workouts for the next 2 weeks so plenty of time to get back into it Smile

thanks :) am keeping up more or less although couldn't do the fit test yesterday, too many people around , but today's pcc is easily my favourite - just as am really starting to struggle he starts the jabs and it's all over and I want to do it again

I think I'm getting fatter though Confused

wow I have lost 1.2 kg since I last logged my weight with MFP

so am just feeling fatter is not actual fat

is a worse thing though, the imaginary stuff isn't it?

I would take the DVDs and do them. I have various workouts ripped and on my iPhone so when I travel with work or for leisure I can do them in the room if there is no gym and/or I don't feel safe to go out running.

if not think there is a gym in the hotel although really don't want to miss Monday and Tuesday

Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs .... why, God, why?
Nearly an hour of pure torture. And just when you think you are having a nice rest with the Abs, he pulls out his C sit position and those evil, EVIL leg raise things. It's like my body says to me "that's not normal. In fact it's not even legal. Not doing it."
But I survived!

I hate the fact that I've done cardio abs four times so far when actually only had to do it twice - every pure cardio day, have only just noticed that you don't always have to do that bit

Oh hahaha Mitchy! That is exactly why I study my calendar intensely before each session, I don't think I could cope with doing any extra exercise!
I swear that all this physical activity is affecting my brain, I forgot the name of a work colleague earlier, she reckons I've got shaken baby syndrome from all the Insanity jumping around!

Hello, can I join your thread please? I saw the insanity ad & decided to fork out for the DVDs, reviews are amazing!

I did the fit test yesterday & did ok.

Just did the PCC and my calf muscles feel stiff.

It's been a good 18mths since I've done any exercise so I'm a bit rusty.

I'm going to try & roughly follow the diet plan too- it seems pretty healthy.

Those of you who have been doing it a couple of weeks, do you think it's getting easier?

Welcome BakeryQueen! We need some more victims so come on in and join the insanity!!
I would love to tell you that it's getting easier (I'm 3 weeks in) but that would be a lie - I am definitely improving and taking less rest breaks during workouts but I'm nowhere near Shaun's level yet. My calves ached after my first plyo workout but they don't anymore, so something must be working!!
Let me know how the diet plan goes, I would like to try it but I'm a bit disorganised at the moment with stuff at work & home making it hard to plan properly. I have just made a commitment to cut out alcohol and takeaways as a start.
