Peach!!!! How wonderful, congratulations! Out in 2 pushes is extremely good going. What lovely lovely news.

I'm so glad I came to check in!

Off to do parkrun. Had to much beer last nigh Blush. Not sure how this one will go.

Oh and Fanny, don't be silly. Re email - should be here any day if it comes at the same time as mine did. DrNo you can put yourself on a list to be reminded when the places come out if you go on the GNR website.

stickyLFDTfingers · 19/11/2011 07:52

Grin peach CONGRATULATIONS to the Peach family and baby Kate. Lovely, lovely news. Sounds like once she got going there was no stopping her! Big hugs all round.

monkeyLFDTwench · 19/11/2011 08:35

Congratulations to peach and our little peachlet Kate! YFDI!

Full report when you're ready?!

rhetorician · 19/11/2011 09:13

peach you have set the bar high for a speedy labour - DP and I were just saying that we'll be really annoyed if this one is slow - 4.5 hours last time, so we'll be looking at our garmins watches and tutting at about 3.5 hours...

and fanny really, don't worry, we all love you! and your smutty posts...see how we've all gone off and set up our own pure-mouthed thread where there is no swearing and no sex references...

sfxmum · 19/11/2011 09:15

peach congratulations to you and your family Smile well done woman and Kate for speedy work, welcome to the world!

sticky enjoy parkrun
m&m good luck today

sfxmum · 19/11/2011 09:38

Ohlordy just noticed St Delia is coming on MN shortly
(as you were) Grin
Off to take child to assorted activities

futurity · 19/11/2011 09:50

As well as a full report peach we need to, most importantly, know whether you got a goody bag and what was in it Wink

DrNortherner · 19/11/2011 10:00

peach congratulations!!!!! Welcome to little baby Kate. Beautiful name. How cool that you posted on here and just seemed totally chilled and normal. You are ace Smile

fanny personally I love your smut. You are a very funny lady, don't wind your neck in!

debi being married to a Yorkshire man (albeit with a bit of french in him) I can cope with being surrounded by Yorkshire men Grin I am very excited about going to the rugby actually.

Rest day for me today as tomorrow I want to run like the wind.

Now I am off to get the GHD's on my frizz ball hair so I can maintain the facade of having glossy locks...........

Good luck to all the weekend racers.

MoshiMoshi · 19/11/2011 10:03

Congratulations peach family! Welcome Baby Kate Smile.

DebiTheScot · 19/11/2011 10:22

Yay!!! Congratulations Peach Smile Very quick work. So you going for a run this afternoon then? Grin

My parkrun friend just txd me saying she wins our bet. When we first went I got 26:30 and she got 34 and we said we'd have a race for me to get under 25 and her to get under 30. She's had a pb every time she's run it and got under the 30 today. I haven't got under 26:30, never mind 25. So now I've got to buy her a glass of wine.

backwardpossom · 19/11/2011 10:41

Bloody hell peach that's brilliant! Congratulations! XX

fanny I'm glad you arrived, I feel like I can swear here now and it's ok! Wink

MoshiMoshi · 19/11/2011 11:22

F* no, fanny. Grin Keep on keeping on!

Speaking personally, I don't swear in RL and it is a relief to be able to release my inner Tourettes sufferer on here. Grin

10M this morning with the dog. I usually only take her on runs up to 6M but thought she would be fine as we would only be out an hour and a bit. She was brilliant and kept close the whole way. I love my dog.

fannybanjo · 19/11/2011 11:37

Ah FUCK it, I'll keep being a dirty foul mouthed runner then! Thanks ladies, I was worried that some of you may be sat with Shock faces at my posts.

peach hope you and the little apricot are doing ok and how has DD1 reacted to her new sister?

Just been to cross country race with DD1, she did ok, she's only recently started it but she just plods along then when I was shouting "come onnnn!!!" she starts sprinting. As she got to the end the girl in front starts throwing up as she's running along, poor DD nearly got a load in her face. She was not impressed. It takes a lot of control on my part not to be a total Soccer Mom and coach her.

MoshiMoshi · 19/11/2011 11:40

I know what you mean fanny. My DS came running with me in the summer and is very good at it. But I don't want to push him into it so am waiting for the next time he wants to join me. The problem is my runs are too long for him generally. Well done to your DD1 though! Projectile vomiting is quite daunting for a youngster and I still have memories of various children vomiting from my school days. It sticks with you. Along with scenes from The Exorcist which I probably was too young to see at the time. Grin

futurity · 19/11/2011 12:46

Also not bothered about swearing ...like Moshi I don't really swear in real life (if I can help it!) but don't mind it here.

Busy morning - did 3 miles in 27min 47 seconds and then just been out on my bike to try out new bike clothes. I know exactly what clothes to wear when running but am still learning on the bike and wore far too much and got a bit hot ..oh well...lessened learned. Beautiful day out there Smile

WishIwasCherryMenlove · 19/11/2011 13:07

Well done peach! Quick work, that's the sort of labour I dream of. As to associated event goody bag, I'm thinking meconium and breast pads?

Obviously meant to say happy racing last night but if anyone happens to be raving also then have a good one Wink

squix · 19/11/2011 13:17

fanny the only Shock face I have is at your ironing!

bonkersLFDT20 · 19/11/2011 13:18

I am such a doofus. Hanging around on the old thread thinking it was quiet.....and here you all are wetting baby Kate's head! Congratulations Peach.
Short and sharp was it?

Well, yesterday I lost my keys and left my purse at work (retrieved them both). Today I realised I'd left my trainers at work so couldn't go running. I then took the DSs out for some good old Autumn leaf romping and left my purse on a bench (retrieved it).

Fanny you are foul potty mouth but I like that in a woman!

Right, DS2 napping, DH and DS1 gone to town so I am going to make my Christmas todo list.

backwardpossom · 19/11/2011 14:23

I just did 30 Day Shred again. Fuck me, it's really good isn't it. My shoulders are burning!

bonkersLFDT20 · 19/11/2011 14:48

What is this Shred of which you all speak?

Just cleared out our garden box which was getting a bit stinky and full. I had been blaming DS1 and the tens of outgrown football boots in there, but when I took stuff out....OMG, a MOUSE ran around. I am not a scaredy, but it was so bloody fast and jumpy and eughhhh. It had made a nest out of my DHs rucksack and some camping mats. Woops. Anyway, lots of room in the garden box AND I've made my Christmas todo list.

Now I just need to get some caustic soda for the bathroom sink which is draining slowly and can call today productive.

So....what are you lot wearing when you run at the moment? I'm wearning knee length tights and my ronhill long sleeved top. I really, really, really want to get some new trainers, but this involves me being granted an afternoon to myself which is pretty much unheard of [pout]. I want some Adidas Supernova.

stickyLFDTfingers · 19/11/2011 14:53

:) I got in to the 27 minutes - ok, with 55 seconds, but it's still a PB for park run. Yay!! I think you and me were running together futurity!

Still had a bit of a "lazy" bit in the middle (we come off grass and go on to a tarmac path at the half way point and it always seems to throw me a bit. Like, every time Hmm) so next week will be aiming to LFDT the entire way.

I agree squix. I am mightily offended by fanny's ironing. Disgusting habit.

Hope you have a great time at the rugby DrNo. Have a lovely mental picture of you standing daintily eating your M&S finest amongst all those brawny pie-eating league fans. Don't forget to stick your pinkie out if you take tea :)

backward yes, I think it's awesome - so much effect for so little time! I wish I'd found it when I was still working. BTW, have I just become your "friend" on FB? I'm not sure who tis!!

backwardpossom · 19/11/2011 15:17

Quite possibly sticky - my initials are DM?

bonkers this The workouts last about 25 mins and they're really intense. I want a stomach like hers. Oh, and no bingo wings, please.
