bonkers just realised what you did re posting photo of yourself on that thread!!!! I'm hysterically laughing to myself and DD2 is telling me off for laughing. I never ever ever say this but ROLFL!

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 09:53

OMG, could you see the pic? I thought maybe people would have to have a flikr account to view it.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:10

Haha yes you can!! I could even see it on my phone! You look amazing by the way so be proud. Honestly, I haven't stopped laughing. Grin. A random post "here's me [vain] also bang in the middle of a celeb spotting thread was fucking comedy gold. Beats my bed any time!

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:11

I love this thread. Everyone is bloody hilarious. Well, except me. I'm just a poncey cock watching scouse bird.

DrNortherner · 15/11/2011 10:12

Well I am actually weeing myself a little here You lot are hilarious.

N4nny some greaet runing you are doing there. You really are coming on leaps and bounds.

hat nice to see you trying to restore a little bit of mornality to this bonkers thread Grin

moshi love your comment about bonkers having a nice neutral looking gait Grin Taht si such a runners thing to say. I too am a short, over pronater.

monkey was the ready made mash teh proper potato you warm up or the dried stuff you add water to ala Smash? I must confess to liking Smash and blame my Mother who always took it on our caran holidays as 'it's my holiday too and I am not peeling spuds' Hmm I did read somewhere that Cindy Crawford eats it by the bowl full...........

fanny erm unusual bed Grin Did you have the leather riding boots to go with?! Funny you have a insecure husband. I have one of those too. Mine is a chef and thinks that I will one day disapear with a city sort just because he wears a suit Hmm Men are strage aren't they? I do have a feeling thought Fan that the reason you attract male attention is because you are rather bloody gorge Smile

Anyway, I am supposed to be working doncha know. And yes, to any lurkers out there we will be taling about pace, nurtition and injury prevention VERY soon.

peachLFDTsmuggler · 15/11/2011 10:19

Fuck me bonkers, that was a classic. Sitting here tears rolling down face laughing like Mutley. Esp the (vain) bit as she posts picture of self on completely random thread. Oh, god save my poor pelvic floor.

DrNortherner · 15/11/2011 10:19

The kitchen at work is FULL of goodies from suppliers. I have just eaten a blueberry mini muffin and a choc cookie. Running club tonight. This is good fuel yes?

futurity · 15/11/2011 10:31

Grin at this thread and double Grin at Bonkers posting photo on random thread!!

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:31

DrNo I reckon there are a few ponces in Harrogate with my old bed. Wink ohh ohh ohh smash in a caravan, we had that too! With corned beef in. . Haha thank you but I think DH just a sensitive soul, we are very opposite personality wise. I'm not brash but do have a good laugh with people in real life and am the life and soul type and I think he struggles with it sometimes. I'm super friendly with even a Big Issue seller whereas DH very reserved. Also for the past 10 years on and off I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding and now I've got my mojo and figure back to how it was pre kids, I think it's very daunting to him. Doesn't help that I'm a SAHM so he always knows where I am. I do think he worries a lot that one day some rich bloke might turn my head but he knows in his heart that I'm not money motivated. His ego was dented hugely by failure of his business and I think he worries I may feel let down. I don't though and he's such a wonderful guy and a marvellous husband, no-one else would come near. Smile

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:33

We are defo doing a special award thread at end of December. I so wish we all lived near each other to do it in person.

MoshiMoshi · 15/11/2011 10:35

Dropping in to say hello girls. It's a lonely business moving countries Sad. Off to renew a passport and then need to think about wills and appointment of legal guardians. All a bit stomach churning to think about but necessary. How many of us have actually made wills on here? It usually takes a life changing event to prompt someone to do it but it is actually something that should be in place, especially with dependants. Sorry about sombre mood. Not been for my daily run yet Grin.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:38

Ahh MoshiFarah once you're moved and settled you'll start to feel human again. It's just a few months out your life that'll be unsettled but you're such a She-Ra that you'll have house looking like Kelly Hoppen had full control with $$$$ and you'll be doing SF marathon in

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 10:43

PS a Will?! Don't you have to have assets to write a Will?! My kids will be lucky to inherit an Ikea blow up ladybird. Nope, no will here. DC can live with youse lot if I pop me clogs at the Conwy HM.

sfxmum · 15/11/2011 10:52

wills we made one, for many reasons, mostly because I do not want what happen to me and my sisters to ever happen to my daughter, it gives me some peace of mind. we appointed guardians in both families and two specific people to administer financial affairs should she still be a minor.
I can understand why people find it depressing contemplating one's own demise but still it is for those left behind

on a more cheerful not, please continue with diverting and amusing chat, I peek on this window while writing essay on the other

peachLFDTsmuggler · 15/11/2011 11:23

Oh Moshi, sounds like things are quite tough, won't be long till you're out the other end Smile.

Yes we have wills. Made them after DD was born and pretty essential for us as we are not married. It is not the nicest thing to have to do, but once it is all sorted you can just forget about it with the piece of mind that if anything awful should happen the other person and the kids will be sorted and won't have horrible legal hoops to jump through on top of all the grief and readjustment.

Have cupcakes in oven for children in need charidee thing. DrNo, you have now put me in a mind to eat all one of them...

Hatwoman · 15/11/2011 11:34

bonkers your intervention on the Dr Who thread is just fantastic. It would have been funny anyway but to have added [vain] was a great touch. I also love the fact that everyone else on the thread just ignored you. brilliant.

Wheelybug · 15/11/2011 12:58

Ha ha bonkers ! Oops
Mind yiu reading this thread makes me think yiu might all be a bit bonkers !

No moshi, no wills here which is especially bad given dh a lawyer and almost carped it a couple of years back. Always something we mean to do.... We must !

Just completed my first trip in the pool today with dd. Lunch then back in for a few lengths myself .

monkeyLFDTwench · 15/11/2011 13:05

I'm a shortarse somewhat shorter than average person too! And I lollop like the Hunchback of Notre Dame over-pronate! Do I win a prize?

DrN it was the "posh" mash though still not good enough for Fanny Craddock banjo. What is this Smash of which you speak?

moshi yes it must be very lonely, and time consuming, and frustrating. But just think everything you do is a step closer to the sun, sea, fun and adventure of your new life. I can't remember if you made a decision about schools?

We don't have wills. Yep, you read that right, a solicitor and a former solicitor with no wills - like the cobblers children having no shoes. Over the last two years two of my friends have died unexpectedly - one at 39 from a heart attack leaving a 14 year old and a 7 year old, the other from breast cancer aged 37 leaving a 7 year old and a 10 month old. That alone should be warning enough that we need to sort it out, but somehow it always works its way to the bottom of the list.

Where is the bonkers thread? DH loves Tom Baker, especially as the mad old cap'n in the Blackadder II episode.

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 13:10

We have Wills. Did them when DS1 was about 3 or 4.
They are very straight forward. We are married - to each other. Our children were made by both us us. Our home is in both our names. Our assets are both ours. We picked a Guardian for the DSs and ensured they'd be OK financially if we pop off. Oh and funeral wishes (though we want to change that from cremation to woodland burial).

Please, please give it priority Moshi. My Mothers died interstate and it really is a horrid, horrid process for people left behind.

monkeyLFDTwench · 15/11/2011 13:12

Oh bonkers I just saw the thread. What were you thinking of? I nominate you for Most Inappropriate Thread Interruption By A Runner. All it needed was a big caption saying "MEEEEE! MEEEEE! LOOOOK AT MEEEEEEEE!" Wink

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 13:13

Bonkers making a prat of herself thread!

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 13:15

re: Dr. Who thread. I think people will think it's the woman in the foreground of the picture. Don't you? #17, or maybe the bloke?

Surely someone with such perfect gait would not make such a silly mistake.

Wheelybug · 15/11/2011 13:19

Hilarious bonkers ! Am going to keep thinking of this whilst swimming.... If I drown you'll know its because I was laughing too much.

rhetorician · 15/11/2011 13:47

yep we have wills too - made before DD1 was born to ensure that DP's wishes are recorded if anything happened to her (e.g. that I should adopt the children). We also have a life insurance policy on her life so that I can pay the legal fees...if both of us die then kids go to BIL and sister (actually I have fallen out of love with this arrangement somewhat and need to check that they would be ok with 2)

even if straightforward it takes time without a will, and you do need to specify what would happen to your children

just did 6k on univ gym treadmill, although kept faffing with buttons so have no idea what i actually did!

OP posts:
stickyLFDTfingers · 15/11/2011 13:53

that is class bonkers :) I think you should find a thread a month to add a random photo of yourself to, and see if anyone notices!

Just had a sesh with your girlfriend, monkey - "I want you to scream and hear you panting and grunting" Grin. I think she must have a bed like Fanny's too! Quite fun, and nice it's so quick. Have you moved up levels?

stern look now ladies, we all should have wills. like bonkers said, dying intestate is an awful palaver for those left behind ( just when they don't need it). It's not all that expensive and can be done very quickly. Monkey you could do your own. Do it do it do it.

moshi hope you get out for your run soon.
