Is she the one off America's Biggest Loser? If so, she is scary!

I will join you all vicariously tomorrow perhaps by watching Shrek 1-4 tomorrow from comfort of sofa....

Bought some snacks for hospital and inevitable DP and I have just troughed 2 bars of chocolate. I fucking KNEW this would happen!!!!

peachLFDTsmuggler · 14/11/2011 22:44

Oh I LOVED schhol dinners

monkeyLFDTwench · 14/11/2011 22:45

Ps you may be right sticky, I just really believe Jillian is going to whip me into shape (fnar fnar). I quite like the scary "is it hurting? Then it's working!" approach, it's good for southern softies weaklings like me. Though I've got a feeling fanny would just tell her to fuck right off!

stickyLFDTfingers · 14/11/2011 22:45

she is apparently (not seen the biggest loser, but she trails herself with it).

Shrek, Sofa and Scooby Snacks sound like the ingredients of a very good day of baby attending :)

monkeyLFDTwench · 14/11/2011 22:49

peach - anaemia. I've struggled with it for years, and no amount of tablets or natural remedies would resolve it. So I finally decided a few months back to try chicken once a week and beef once a week. I haven't managed to stick to the beef, but have discovered bacon sandwiches are quite nice Smile.

DebiTheScot · 14/11/2011 22:49

I love you all. You are all hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if there were people on this thread who've never run a mile in their life but just pretend they do so they can join in the fun Grin

peachLFDTsmuggler · 14/11/2011 22:51

Yes, "The baby needs a Wispa..."

do you think newbie running enthusiasts spot the thread, wander in, read a few pages about whooshing fannies, warming drawers, and quookers, and then just back out quietly???

Come back!!!! We talk about running too!!! Well I don't, but you get my jist.

rhetorician · 14/11/2011 22:51

I think fanny might have the MN Best Thread Ever Award in one of her warming drawers...dust it off and give it a twirl love. Night all.

OP posts:
peachLFDTsmuggler · 14/11/2011 22:54

Ahh makes sense monkey. I am prone to it too but absorb the tablet stuff ok and haven't had to resort to beef. Settle down at the back there fanny!!!

monkeyLFDTwench · 14/11/2011 22:58

I feel a Running Thread Award Night coming up - best photo/worst photo/best and worst goody bag/largest bum bag/most convincing turtles head impression?

stickyLFDTfingers · 14/11/2011 23:01

could we also have a largest bum category? I'd like to leave the night with a gong, specially if I've paid for a table and everything.

fannybanjo · 14/11/2011 23:05

monkey I win all of those. BUT it's fanny pack NOT bumbag. Tut tut - you've learned fuck all.

Yes, all lurkers, we are actually a talented group of athletes who discuss pace, mileage and training every 500 posts or so. The in between fillers are for moral.

monkeyLFDTwench · 14/11/2011 23:05

We would need photos sticky - you could be in for stiff competition .

stickyLFDTfingers · 14/11/2011 23:09

hard to get a good picture when I've blotted out the sun tho, monkey.

Must go to bed, don't want to be too tired for Jillian tomorrow (she'll be cross with me )

fannybanjo · 14/11/2011 23:11

Also, I wonder whether I'll get a PM from a sponsor such as Miele, AndSoToBed, Quooker or Jilly Cooper because in 10 posts alone. I've done more advertising for free for them than a years ad campaign in The Daily Mail would.

N4NNY · 14/11/2011 23:12

Rofl you guys make me laugh. I'm so glad I found you.

I think I might be addicted to running. Went out with my running group tonight suppose to be a 3 mile route when we got back I'd only clocked 2.7 miles I was pissed off so went off on my own and ran 3 laps of the green to make up for it. Want to join the 4 mile group really but they are far too fast for me.

Might do 6 miles tomorrow

monkeyLFDTwench · 14/11/2011 23:15

Ah, have had a shiteous day but you've all made me laugh. Even if you did poke fun at my ready mash .

Night all!

Hatwoman · 14/11/2011 23:26

you've all lost the plot. dualit and miele. shrek. random links to pictures of your bed. warming drawers and ready made mash. wtf is going on girls???

I come on here to post about hill reps, split times, heart rates, and my new long sleeved winter running top and I find none of you are listening - you all whispering and giggling at the back.

(actually I didn't ... come on here to post ... just came to check you were all ok. clearly you are. night girls )

N4NNY · 14/11/2011 23:42

Oooohatwomen a new long sleeve running top I'm listening

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 06:54

[puzzled] What went on last night here?! Have you all been taking something? There was I sitting peacefully doing DS's Dr. Who jigsaw (he has bet me that I won't finish it - it's about 80% blue with some flashy plasma thrown in) and you're talking utter shite!

Had a bad night. Trying to limit DS2s breastfeeding at night. He's over 2 1/2.

Anyway, someone (Peach?) asked whether I was really tall. I am 5'7". That's tall, but not really, really tall I think. My legs are indeed l.o.n.g.

Moshi I do have a neutral gait. The gait analysis man was quite thrilled about me, but didn't give me a free pair of running shoes as a prize.

Where is the pic of Fanny's slut bed? I went to her profile and you see pics of all her amazingly beautiful children.

No running today - got to spend my lunch time finding an old pair of bridesmaids shoes in FIL's loft.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 08:49

bonkers I'm not pointing you in the direction of Riders and Polo bed... By the way, the kids aren't mine, I just pick random cute kids photos from the Internet and pose them as my own. My real children look a tad Wayne Rooneyesq.

DH was wondering what I was chuckling about last night. When I told him that it was about our old bed he nearly choked.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 08:54

Actually, I'm sure on one of the photos of DD1 on profile that it has the bed poking out. I must check that the handcuffs and gimp mask aren't on show too.

bonkersLFDT20 · 15/11/2011 09:14

Fanny I just actually Googled "Riders and Polo bed". Nice lot of random pics!
So now I've just scrolled through this whole thread searching for "Fanny" (your fault if I get escorted from the premises today because I'm convening the site "acceptable use policy"!). Anyway, anyway, I found your bed.

I think it's quite nice actually, but I also enjoy Doc Marten (on telly, not anything else you gutter minded floozies)!.

I also just posted a link of me in the race in a thread about seeing Dr. Who on the train by accident. More coffee needed.

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 09:17

bonkers to my credit, the bed was sold 3 years ago and we have a far more subtle cream wooden one now! However, in our hey day, DH and I were a bit fucking daft with house purchases. Call it the Twatty Twenties if you like. I will categorically state that in our old house it looked bloody amazing! Grin

fannybanjo · 15/11/2011 09:19

bonkers I saw that thread re Tom Baker on train. I too was excited! Loved him as a child.
