peach are you practising that line for later
?
wheely good luck for tomorrow. It's obviously great to have people to clap you in at the end, but I kind of like the wellardness and "this is for me" feeling of doing races on my own, too. It's good to do it differently from time to time, I reckon. And don't let your poor needy bag listen to those nasty bag-mockers, they're just jealous.
Debi trapped nerve sounds painful. Hope that goes away soon. The stomach thing's annoying - have you tried keeping a properly detailed food diary to try and pinpoint the cause?
M&M I think you must deserve the LFDT medal for not ducking out of the race. Also looking forward to the race report (and hearing you're back safe!)
orange I was going to do that naughty check out the shop then buy online thing, but ended up buying in the shop because they had end of line stuff too (so fantastic when the best shoe is also the cheapest :)). I don't think you'd be the first to do it. But I reckon you should always try before you buy - you might like x brand, but then the next "improved" version turns out not to be so good for you (this happened to me and Brooks, tho I'm a neutral runner).
fanny you're only 9 once! What's her 18th going to be like then... enjoy your 10 miler, sounds like you need it!
Pan hello!
We did the Halloween park run today (me and DD1). I was a devil, she was a pumpkin! We did it in 36:56, which was a PB for DD1. Bless her, we had a sprint finish that I had to sprint for because she absolutely was not going to be beaten by the boy who came racing up behind us on the last km. Loving the competitive spirit!
