Apparently, we shouldn't brand all nationalism aka fascism baf just because Germany mucked up.

That's bloody terrifying.

Thatcher: famously left wing. At least it’s honest about how far right this lot are I suppose.

Poor Rees-Mogg. It's finally dawned on him that their attempts to rig elections (which he was a party to) by introducing voter ID to solve a non existent problem has gone and backfired on them.

Where is my tiny violin when it's needed?

We had a good laugh about that one ChezKuc. He basically stood there and openly admitted that they tried to gerrymander young people and foreign types out of being able to vote, and that they ended up gerrymandering their own elderly voters out.

BTW, anybody else genuinely stunned that they actually called their great movement "National Conservatism"?

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/05/2023 16:39

It’s equal parts shocking and hilarious.

Shocking that they did it and that they are openly admitting what they were trying to do.

But beyond hilarious that they were so bad at it they suppressed their own voters by mistake.

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/05/2023 16:39

And that in the process of doing it they managed to lose more seats than their expectation management figure.

Nat C's for short

When you’ve polluted all the waterways it’s the next obvious thing.

When people are labelled extremists, it should come as no surprise that the most extreme thing about them is their dimness. That's why they are so easy to draw into hoaxes. I'd wager that "National Conservatives" - NatCs for short - was floated by somebody who fucking hates the Tories.

And what happens when a continent (which is what the US is) puts it's back into something.

The idea that the UK - with less than 1/40th of the land mass and resources of the US could in anyway compete really is the sort of thing that should be used to decide whether to commit someone or not.

Sunak tells Farming Today that, in contrast to Suella Braverman’s call for the agricultural sector to wean itself off foreign labor, he is comfortable with the seasonal worker scheme continuing and expanding beyond its 45,000 cap.

It's about time we got a lesson about Rules of Origin.

It's one of the reasons why Brexit is insane and was always doomed to fail.

I went to buy beer today as it's a bank holiday for us tomorrow so BBQ time and it was shocking to see how little there now is from the UK. Previously there were dozens of british beers to choose from. Sadly no more. Just Newcastle brown ale and a couple from the same Scottish brewery. Plenty of German ones though.

I have to say, I have absolutely zero sympathy for Leave voting morons who've voted themselves out of the job, I'll save my sympathy for remain voters suffering the consequences of their stupidity.

The sanity is growing.

And even quicker than I thought it would.
