Getting smaller and smaller - like they washed it too hot.

PMK with the recent newbies, who are loving life chez pointy and getting on very well with the incumbents.

Reposting from end of last thread…

HannibalHeyes
So they supported it knowing that it would damage the country

And people still vote for them...

What’s worse is that people will vote for them again. This time knowing that they are amoral, unprincipled liars who sold out huge swathes of British businesses for either some mythical ‘sovereignty’ or more mendaciously because they want to circumvent EU restrictions on tax etc and grow opportunities for themselves and their mates off a rentier economy.

Where are all these raised standards that the brexiters assured us would happen?

They don't exist.

Morning.
It's suddenly very autumnal here today after such lovely spring weather for the past week.
Today I'm helping an ex client at her dismissal appeal panel. I think we have a 50:50 chance to get the decision overturned.
Then tonight I'm going to a meeting about how we can help ukranian refugees locally run by a refugee charity.
Hoping this headache fucks off soon 😫
Have a good day all

I’ve just noticed that the Queen attended Philip’s memorial on the arm of the family nonce.

Whoever is advising the royal family at the moment is clearly a Republican. 👍🏼

Au contraire. I'd posit they are a dyed in the wool sycophantic toady who want us plebs to know exactly where we are in the Windsor family books.

You don't think it's more likely that the Queen decided who would accompany her to her late husband's memorial service then?
TatianaBis · 29/03/2022 15:43

I’m sure the queen decided and her advisers clearly did not dissuade her.

DuncinToffee · 29/03/2022 15:53

She did the same after the interview, driving to church together and going horse riding iirc

ChiswickFlo · 29/03/2022 16:04

Oh, well.
Hopefully the UK will be a Republic before long.
