Westminstenders: a feature of the system not a bug

Tests on the new queuing system in Kent have revealed that lengthy tail backs are a feature not a bug.

We should get used to them because thats normal not the system malfunctioning, but the planned system working as designed.

Today we have found out that there's no money left. The economy is fucked. And tomorrow we will probably all be in T3 with the Isles of Wight, the tip of Cornwall and inner Westminster the only places left in T1.

Christmas has apparently been 'saved' though. Well if you are dumb and lacking in functional brain cells its 'saved'. Trade for Christmas is already thoroughly goosed and indoor family gatherings may come with a extra side of covid. The BBC have done an epic job of 'doommongering project fear' style graphics on this wonderful subject.

Tis the season to be jolly. Jolly fucked.

Ineos abandons Britain to build flagship off-roader in France

It's funny as Brexit stories go but ... what a horrible, ugly, climate-damaging, road-hogging, dangerous vehicle.

Not sure how Ineos as a vehicle manufacturer is going to meet EU fleet CO2 emissions limits with that 1970s brick.

@Mistigri - I believe it's having a BMW engine.....a modern one

DrBlackbird · 08/12/2020 22:06
Do you get the feeling that our gov't has a collective inability to multitask? Seemingly they can only focus on screwing one thing up at a time... and just ignore the rest.

I believe it's having a BMW engine.....a modern one

Still an ugly, dangerous, climate damaging brick. I suppose one shouldn't expect any better from a tax-avoiding serial liar.

So Johnson has promised (for now) not to cut his dick off. Wow. That's some real negotiating genius. I'm so glad we have the best of the best standing up for us. Confused

Wahey, "BillionaireBrexiter, Jim Ratcliffe, ditches plan to build new Grenadier in Wales, it will now be built in the EU at a plant in France due to its proximity to the border with Germany and access to supply chains.

Portugal is still in the EU - although quite a long way from Germany;

Your point being Clavinova? Does it alter the fact that an ardent Brexiter prefers to deal with an EU country, instead of putting his money where his mouth was and backing the UK?

Clavinova · 10/12/2020 12:38

Your point being Clavinova?

The Bridgend plant was supposed to be the final assembly plant - I'm not sure what they were supposed to assemble if the plant in Portugal was scrapped as well.
