Westministenders: Promises, promises

We should see the party manifestos soon
in 2017, that changed the election

So far, Tory and Labour have been competing for who can offer the most spending on the NHS

Labour have been giving tantalising glimpses of free dental care and free broadband

The Tories have been hinting at tax cuts, as well as public spending

The polls suggest the public like all of the above,
but also that Brexit is the most important issue

25 days to go, still all to play for

Be curious to know if the lawsuit being pressed is still of concern to Farage, or whether it's just lawyers on autopilot ? Or maybe they thought "we'd better crack on with this while he's still here" ?

As they say:

Anyone who’s failed seven times to get elected to Parliament (once beaten by a dolphin called Flipper) is no strategic guru.

Tory 'get Brexit done' bus breaks down leaving party stranded on housing estate

I was helping a friend with their computer today. She used to be chair of local Tory party association, always voted Tory. Since the current 'shitfest' have taken over (her words) she has left the party, and is going to vote for another party (LD/Greens) for the first time in her political life. I cheered her on and pointed her to these boards for more info if required.

I am Ignoring polls until the day (I have fond memories of RTB 'WELL' after polls closed in 2017 and the 'massive' tory majority was actually a minority). Like labour manifesto too. Voting LD in the SW as best way to get rid of current Tory incumbent.

@yolofish

Another plus point for Michael Howard was his sacking of Johnson in 2004?

In SW. Have long time Tory incumbent, in fact he took over the reigns from the previous long time Tory incumbent.....

I have voted LD tactically before, a few times, but this time I am appalled by their poor quality in everything that I really really can't. I shall either vote Labour (like the manifesto, or most of it, and agree we need to take draticmeasures to get ourselves back on a decent path) or I shall spoil my paper.

"Another plus point for Michael Howard was his sacking of Johnson in 2004?" - for lying !

Illustrates how far the Tory party have degenerated since:

then, they sacked BJ for lying
now, they reward BJ for lying, by electing him party leader

Hence BJ's lies and dirty tricks in this GE
Since it's got him this far .....
