So Sally has realised that it's all or nothing now - she's bitten the bullet after two friends have pledged to help her...

Brexit Babs is hardcore - wants Sally to go full no contact with Dave - a scorched earth approach.

Tory Tina is more pragmatic, she wants Sally to move on but realises that Dave's not a complete cunt, & whilst the marriage might not have worked out, they don't hate each other & an amicable split would be better for both of them in the long run.

Lib Dem Lucy (the blue-haired non-binary social justice warrior with a penis) is LIVID that it's not all about them & is actively trying to control Sally because it's Just Not Right that Sally should be able to exercise autonomy over her own thoughts & life choices. Given the chance, Lucy would literally chain Sally to Dave regardless of their express wishes otherwise.

Labour Larry is just pissed about everything. He 'understands' why Sally wants to leave, but nonetheless he's determined to make her stay. He changes his mind constantly & tells Sally one thing whilst saying the exact opposite to others. He just wants to be in charge. (And he hates Jews as well, but that's more of a hobby really). He gaslights Sally more than the rest of her toxic family.

SNP Tam is Sally's puffed up uncle.
He's not impressed that Sally has made a choice to leave Dave. Tam's sole motivations are to undermine Sally at every turn, whilst also trying to leave his own marriage for much the same reasons.

As ever, I continue to #PrayForSally in these difficult times, and keep my fingers crossed that Sally will ultimately prevail.
My dear hope is that Babs toned down her rhetoric & helps Tina so that Sally & Dave are able to get the Nisi signed as soon as poss, and move onto the next stage, prior to issue of the absolute, in an amicable and mutually agreeable way.

🙏🕯

The game is on!!

My nerves can barley take another election!

I'm ever so very slightly sad bercow is leaving. The lady that stood in for him, was flat.
. I will miss his calling order, but very glad to see him go.

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 14:02

Hi sunny! Smile He’s been somewhat entertaining, I’ll give him that! But overall I am thrilled to see him go. Roll on a properly impartial speaker so that we can get through this next part without any additional or unecessary fuckery from the chair! Wine

And don’t worry, you will still see a lot of him I don’t doubt.

There’ll be...

The book.
The ‘explosive’ interviews
A documentary or five.
Numerous newspaper headlines
Kangaroo bollocks in the jungle
Strictly
Celeb hunted
Appearances on SNL
Appearances on ‘oh so funny’ leftie, comedy panel shows on the beeb.
Graham norton show appearance.
Political commentary and punditry.
Peerages
Newspaper columns etc..

Ugh... I could go on but, I’m wearing myself out.

No doubt Sally will make a spectacular return to our screens and lives too! Yay Hmm (No, not that sally 🙏 Grin)

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 14:06

Oh,

And loose women
This morning
Piers morgan
Some terrible insurance ad or something...

It just goes on! Hooray! 🤦🏻‍♀️

AutumnCrow · 30/10/2019 14:50

I'm watching Theresa May (live) speaking in the House of Commons about Grenfell Tower, and what she anticipates will be in the Inquiry Part 2 - the circumstances of how this was allowed to happen.

Deputy speaker Rosie Winterton in the Chair.

Solemn stuff. As opposed to earlier.

DustyDiamond · 30/10/2019 14:55

It's so much better & how it should be when it's like that Autumn

Sensible, insightful, relevant interventions & no braying.

Not box office viewing by any stretch but good to see that there are still grown ups left in the building

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 14:59

I’m watching too, thank goodness they are keeping their politicking low key for this important debate.

Those poor people. 💚💚💚

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 15:00

Uh oh... maybe not, Joanna cherry is going there...

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 15:01

I guess that’s her right, and important in finding out who is accountable, however, I hope she is not trying to use this as an electioneering tool...

Walkingdeadfangirl · 30/10/2019 15:24

Just reading today's papers. After LibDem & SNP were proposing and supporting a GE in December, not a single one of either party voted for it yesterday.

WTF kind of game is that?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 30/10/2019 15:26

Oh and #prayersforsally 🙏 🍷 🥤

She is going to have a tough time over the next 6 weeks.

howabout · 30/10/2019 17:12

Walking that was entirely predictable. The motion was always going to pass with them abstaining and Tories voting in favour. Neither the LibDems nor the SNP could risk the Labour Party accusing them of "enabling a Tory Brexit election".

The SNP have only just got people to stop accusing them of having caused Thatcher and least said about Cleggmania the better.

My G'dad (from Perth) right up until his deathbed had a raging hatred for the 'tartan Tories' 😂

DustyDiamond · 30/10/2019 17:25

My granny mostly just wafted around with a fag on the go saying 'aye, he's no wrong - they're awfy'

Love this! Lol Grin

howabout · 30/10/2019 18:13

My Gran was a chain smoking SNP sympathiser. Shock That was when they were anti-establishment mind.

Epicwaffle · 30/10/2019 18:30

The plot thickens!

I hope this is true! Sorry, no link, I can’t remember my sign in details...

AutumnCrow · 30/10/2019 18:31

I had a great-aunty from Perth. Made brilliant tablet. Pure sugar and Fussells, aye.

howabout · 30/10/2019 18:40

My twitter feed is currently being spammed by both sides telling me how to defeat / support the SNP via tactical voting.

Safe to say it is Game On.

Epic I think the Brexit Party are attempting to play a canny game of mixed messaging - Ben and Lance giving out positive Boris Deal vibes in London and Claire and Anne going full on anti establishment from opposite ends in the North and South West.

Jon Lansman, Richard Tice and Nige all being equivocal.

Interesting, I can see why they would do that. 🤔
Some high stakes poker being played here, I like it! 😈 😉

Trying to work out all of the election jiggery pokery should keep me busy for the next 6 weeks at least! Grin
