But yours missing the point.
Boris, I will do everything I can to get us out.
Joe Bloggs who voted, and swings elections has just watched 100 days of remain, refusing elections, taking Boris to court, for what? Remain have become bullys, who will try anything to get their own way.
So instead of doing a deal and being able to vote to change things in real time, remain now will lose their jobs and sit back and watch as Parliament is flooded with leavers.... You scored the biggest own goal I have ever seen.

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 08:11

Good news! Mummmy is on your side!😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:12

How is that goady shit. Poster says leavers will crow when we leave. Poster says I hope we leave with a deal. Poster says no dealers need their head feeling. No goad there.

I’d like to think this was a wind up but I don’t think it is

I was obviously talking about the previous goady posts which have been done for no other reason that to be provocative

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 08:12

I am happy to forecast that we will leave, probably not on 31st Jan but by the end of March 2020.

I will also forecast that if we don't it will be because of unforced errors by Johnson (ie not agreeing a new timetable for his bill and passing it before the election).

You're welcome to call me out on 31/3/2020 if I'm wrong.

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:13

You scored the biggest own goal I have ever seen.

This is what Boris supporters believe

It doesn’t matter if you agree or not, the fact is there are more of them than supporting any other group

Which is quite helpful in a GE situation

BercowsPoliticalPumpkin · 31/10/2019 08:15

Maybe some of us are celebrating because we are relieved that we haven't left without a deal that would mean hardship and illness, possibly death for ourselves and our loved ones. 4 out of 5 of my family rely on life saving medication. It's a huge relief that we are still in so yes, I will celebrate.

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 08:15

But right now, all the regulars on here who celebrated leaving on 31st October were wrong (if I can be bothered I'll post some examples later).

What's the big issue with saying, "You know what, Johnson promised something he couldn't deliver. I was wrong to trust him".

Genuinely don't get this idea that being wrong is some sort of existential threat. Being wrong is part of life. You adjust your aim and plan to do better next time.

MeganBacon · 31/10/2019 08:16

And all people see is that Boris, man of the people, was thwarted. Well done to the visitors from westminstenders for reminding everyone of that and doing cummings’ work for him.

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 08:16

But you quoted a reasonable post as an example of goady shit. Oh well, you've managed to stoke your own ire so you've accomplished your mission before 9.00 am.😂😂😂

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:17

misti if you think anyone is going to say they’re wrong when you’ve openly stated you’re only here to serve them humble pie, I think it’s you who might want to ‘adjust your aim’

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:18

And all people see is that Boris, man of the people, was thwarted. Well done to the visitors from westminstenders for reminding everyone of that and doing cummings’ work for him.

Exactly this

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 08:18

And all people see is that Boris, man of the people, was thwarted

Thwarted in a completely predictable way that was indeed predicted by people all over the Internet.

Why did he promise something he knew wasn't achievable? It's just so bloody stupid to promise something when you are going to get found out less than a month later.

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:19

But you quoted a reasonable post as an example of goady shit. Oh well, you've managed to stoke your own ire so you've accomplished your mission before 9.00 am

FFS I quoted that post to respond to it, not as an example of the goady shit

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:19

Why did he promise something he knew wasn't achievable? It's just so bloody stupid to promise something when you are going to get found out less than a month later.

You really don’t get this do you?

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 08:20

"Goady shit like this" were your exact words.
Boy, you are going to have a fun few weeks.

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:22

No bellini, my exact words were ‘goady shit like they have this morning’

Try reading things properly otherwise you make yourself look a bit foolish

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 08:23

I'm sure that people who fancied Boris before are not going to change their minds in the face of the broken promise. I'm sure people determined not to roll over and let him do it his way are not going to change their minds either.
It's still funny.

BercowsPoliticalPumpkin · 31/10/2019 08:23

Parliament proved a liar to be a liar. The Supreme Court found he'd acted in an unlawful way. How is it a bad thing to "thwart" and unlawful and lying PM who would happily destroy the lives of many?

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 08:23

4 September, Boris Johnson: “He wants to spend £1 billion a month—net—to keep us in the EU beyond 31 October. I will never allow that."

Reader: he did allow it.

BercowsPoliticalPumpkin · 31/10/2019 08:24

Narcs are always charismatic. That's how they get away with their behaviour until the victims are able to see the truth and break free.

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 08:24

5 September, Boris Johnson is asked: “Can you make a promise today to the British public and ask for another delay to Brexit?” and replies “Yes I can. I’d rather be dead in a ditch."

Reader: he did not die in a ditch.

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 08:24

Oh, now I see exactly what you mean. Wink

mummmy2017 · 31/10/2019 08:25

So the court cases,
The laws made to stop Boris.
The way Remainers have acted.
Your pretending none of this happens and just going with Boris not progressing.
Wobble your heads a bit, because the British Public know what has happened.
This Election will have many voting Tory, who never normally would because they know how vile Parliament has become and how Labour can not be trusted.
The Ed Miliband show is about to happen again, people view Corbyn the same way, and those that swap votes are voting for a way of life not parties.

Bearbehind · 31/10/2019 08:25

Oh, now I see exactly what you mean

Blimey, was that nearly an apology?
