I guess this was always the problem with a ‘leave’ that no one could define.

BJ is just playing you all now by making you believe you always wanted whatever scraps he throws at you,

DustyDiamond · 25/10/2019 19:54

As to what is wrong with me? Stalking and bullying is poor form so the biscuit was well deserved.

I posted a heartfelt apology to everyone & tried to explain why I had been so tetchy.

You were nice to me immediately after & seemed to be genuinely accepting of my apology so posted a thank you & a ❤️ to show no hard feelings on my part in the spirit of genuine friendliness.

You then shit all over me.

You run around posting crap everywhere & then come on here expecting people to play nice, then are apparently bemused when they don't put up with being gaslit & treated like cunts

I can't even begin to understand your motivations & I'm not going to waste any time doing so.

Carry on doing whatever you want, I don't care, but please leave me alone & I will reciprocate

Do not @ me in any more posts because I will not respond

I am not doing that to 'bully' you, but because I do not put up with being treated like a piece of shit in real life so I'm certainly not going to be your verbal punchbag on MN

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 19:55

Bercow I'm sorry the arms wasn't to your liking.
. How do you think Boris can get through this parliament and deliver brexit.... What should he do?.

frumpety · 25/10/2019 19:56

There is no way that biscuit has been anywhere near a child or a cat litter tray , all mine would have brushed off the worst and eaten half a wing Wink

Yes, staking and screen shotting, glitterballing, ignoring and bullying is always called for. I wanted discussion but that's not to be had here.

No you didn't, you wanted to post bile on one thread about us here and then come on to the very thread you slagged off and play the innocent 'I just want to politely discuss...." so you can then pull the bullying card when surprise surprise people on here are rightly pissed off with you. At least be truthful, your on a mission to have this thread pulled, which it may well do and I hope that gives you great satisfaction.

Just in case anyone from social services is on the thread, I would of course have tried to rugby tackle the biscuit from their grasp but they are ravenous little bleeders at the best of time and get quite aggressive if you try to deprive them of homemade Halo snacks !

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/10/2019 20:00

Its probably just a million to one chance, but the EU aren't deciding on an extension until Tuesday or Wednesday next week, literally a day before we leave on no deal.

What if Corbyn votes against an election on Monday and consequently Macron decides there is literally no point in an extension because the UK will just 'piss it up the wall again'.

There wont be time to agree a deal and we leave with no deal and its all Corbyns fault. That is something I am going to dream about. No deal and its all because remainers didn't want a deal. lol lol lol. I wish I wish I wish.

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 20:01

Ll why on earth would mnhq pull this thread?.. The one thread for leavers when it's obvious Remainers come on here to poke us with sticks, admit this freely on westminders... Rile us, goad us and flood the thread with genuine questions??..

It would be hilarious if this broke into daily mail sphere.... Twitter... Mumsnet the site for Remainers!!!

The 1⃣ thread for leavers constantly trolled...

All the screen shots and save threads on brexit arms!!
Imagine!

Epicwaffle · 25/10/2019 20:02

“I posted a heartfelt apology to everyone & tried to explain why I had been so tetchy.”

I honestly don’t think you have been particularly tetchy, maybe it’s just bias on my part, but some of the gaslighting on this thread has been insane, (which MNHQ have bought right into... sorry MN but you have 🤷🏻‍♀️ .) and any normal person would lose their shit, even aside from the crappy time you are having in the non virtual world. You have kept the moral high ground as much as possible, from what I have seen. We have had over 3 + years of this shite, what do people expect?. ‘Victim mentality’ or otherwise.

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 20:02

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/10/2019 20:04

Also if it ever comes to Scottish independence, I hope the SNP remember that leaving with 'No Deal' is NOT an option. I just have this feeling that hypocrisy might be a skeleton in their closet!

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 20:04

Daily fail.

'mumsnet the site for mums.... As long as they supported remain.'

Mumsnet has been dragged into brexit with thread for leavers called brexit arms... Blah blah...

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 25/10/2019 20:05

epic

Personally ive been impressed by the way dusty doesn’t seem to hold a grudge

Til now one assumes Smile

And @rufus, I agree!

Frumpety I held out for a long time for Revoke and I recognise your name from when you and I were the only ones banging on about it, but I gave up about six months ago. Think of the anger and nastiness on the Westminsterenders threads (which offends me every day) and imagine how much amplified that would be if the 52% saw their vote overturned. Sooner or later losers' consent will have to hit home, but it never would for the 52%, because they are totally justified in expecting their win to be implemented. I do believe it was a democratic vote, I do believe they knew what they were voting for because Cameron spelled out the harshest Brexit several times. He also was emphatic that it would be implemented, so it is irrelevant that it was advisory. I think we are on very dangerous ground indeed if we just overturn that because it's too hard to do. I would change my mind if the polls consistently indicated Remain were ahead, but again, yesterday's poll put them 9% behind Leave, so it is beyond challenge that in the three intervening years, Remain have not managed to argue their case successfully. On what basis can you justify Revoke? People were not stupid - what's stupid (and offensive) is to maintain that they were. Of the things that worry me, Brexit is probably only third on the list anyway - rise of populism is far worse.

ContinuityError · 25/10/2019 20:10

Its probably just a million to one chance, but the EU aren't deciding on an extension until Tuesday or Wednesday next week, literally a day before we leave on no deal.

The EU has agreed the principle of an extension, just not the end date.

So no leaving on 31st Oct.

TheSultanofPingu · 25/10/2019 20:11

God Walking, you're practically orgasmic at the thought of a no deal aren't you!
And with it the chance to blame Jeremy Corbyn. I don't have much love for the man, but come on.

time4chocolate · 25/10/2019 20:14

If the UK comes out with a no deal it will be Boris's fault - he is a leaver and is pushing for a no deal exit. He's still holding onto his dream of 31 October exit date and then he can't be accused (again) of breaking his promise.

I'm a 100% remainer - I wasn't entitled to vote but my top 20 reasons would be (some selfish as DH is a Doctor, I work in an international consultancy company and DT's are at Uni)

  1. Membership of the world’s largest trading bloc
  2. Tariff-free trade within the EU
  3. Cheaper food and alcohol imports from continental Europe
  4. 3m jobs in the UK are directly linked to exports to the EU
  5. Free movement of labour
  6. No paperwork or customs for UK exports throughout the single market
  7. British banks and insurance companies have been able to operate freely across the EU
  8. Funding from the EU Social Fund
  9. Membership of the European Medicines Agency
  10. EU funding for UK universities
  11. Employment rights
  12. Opt out from the single currency and maintains full control of its borders as a non-member of the Schengen area
  13. Budget rebate equivalent to 66% of its net contribution to the EU budget
  14. EU cross-country coordination offering greater protection from terrorists
  15. The European common arrest warrant
  16. The introduction of the European pet passport
  17. The abolition of mobile telephone roaming charges
  18. The EU acts as a guarantor of the Irish Good Friday Agreement
  19. A frictionless Irish border
  20. The EU acts as a guarantor of the special status of Gibraltar
MeganBacon · 25/10/2019 20:19

If BJ isn't getting brexit done now then I wonder how a GE that keeps him in charge (which is what leavers want) will make any difference. I don't think it will solve anything. It's just more time wasting, money wasting and division building.
You presumably know the answer to this is that he is heading for a majority, so would be able to get his deal through?

Bearbehind · 25/10/2019 20:19

Much as I think Corbyn is a twat of epic proportions and the only way to rebuild from here is no deal - it is not going to happen.

Have you learnt nothing from the fact we have / will now have failed to leave on the stated date, 3 times!

No deal could have happened every time and any time in between.

It’s not going to happen.
