Brexit is enough to have anyone swearing.

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 25/10/2019 17:09

And drinking.

Parker231 · 25/10/2019 17:12

@GoodJobSteve - a CU would be a step in the right direction. I’d also want the employment rights protections back in rather than as an aspiration.

DustyDiamond · 25/10/2019 17:13

I ❤️ Billy Connelly so much!!

"Fuck off, he hinted..." 😂😂😂

time4chocolate · 25/10/2019 17:16

coz everyday is a school day:
The world's longest pleasure pier is at Southend-on-Sea, Essex, and extends 1.3 miles (2.1 km) into the Thames estuary
That’s quite some front!

I notice I had a post deleted because it quoted the KoolAid post.

So, no screenshots & no direct quotes allowed then.

Posters can run around different threads, chat shit & slag us off everywhere else & not be called out on it

Rulez is rulez 🙄

I shall just say 'KoolAid' or 'Beneath Contempt' in future then 🤷🏻‍♀️

GreenishMe · 25/10/2019 17:49

.....I can't even think what you said wrong? It seems to be happening a lot though.

John Bercow guest MN moderator Oops! I meant Smile Wine

There really is some quite bizarre behaviour going on here in the last 24/48 hrs - I think someone may be playing a very silly game.

Anyway, is just coming up to wine o’clock 🍷🍷🍷 ‘Bottoms Up’.

🍷 right back at ya Time4!

I'm in a particularly tetchy mood today anyway so genuine apologies for letting it spill over onto here.

I've been immersed in DRAMA and much swearing as I had to deal face to face TWICE! with my ex who has been dragging his heels for 4 years now with the divorce & has dicked the kids around horribly for the last few months. It all came to a head last night & today 🙄😩

I will take a chill pill or a soothing medicament & hopefully revert to my normal self instead of the raging harpie I have been channeling today

Peace and love to all xxx

So where are we now?

Boris says he wants a GE Dec 12th with more debates about the deal. Translation: debating the deal is pointless as Labour will just wreck it, move straight to the GE

EU seems it will offer a 'flextension' for 3 months, after the UK has voted on a GE. Translation: Normal extension but please please pretty please do something with the time.

Labour is saying we want a GE but only when a no deal is off the table. Translation: we dont care about an extension, we will never allow a GE because we are scared we will all lose our jobs. Therefore no deal will ever be off the table.

SNP just keeps droning on, bla, bla, bla, bla... Translation: bla, bla, bla, bla...

LibDems have sighted a return to 3rd place, maybe even 2nd, the power it offers has them salivating so they are very clear just revoke.
Translation: Power ummmmmm power, just keep voting until we get more power, fuck the 17.4 million voters, who cares about democracy we want more power

So what is going to happen now?

I think Labour will block an election (as they are really really scared of losing their jobs). EU will pretend to be stern but force a 3 month extension. MPs will relax, enjoy their xmas parties and come back energised in January. They will huff and puff, pass another surrender bill to stop us leaving the EU and come 31st of January the EU will force us to have another extension.

Boris is going to have to get really dirty to break though the quagmire of filth that parliament has become. What that means I have no idea, maybe Farage could help?

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 25/10/2019 18:10

DustyDiamond I've got an exH like that. It took 6 years to finalise the divorce. Here's our last Halloween bat cookie for you, made by dd.

A fantastic analysis walking 😂

Is there no other way to force a GE? I can't see any other way out.

Without one, we'll all be swirling around and around in this piss pot for another 3+ years.

I can't wait to not give Labour my vote - ever -again

GreenishMe · 25/10/2019 18:30

Smile Wine (forgot, sorry)

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 18:37

Dusty, have a huge vat of wine on me.

Or sherry. 🍷🍷

Deep breaths.

Great analysis walking thank you.

I'm a swing voter but it will be an extremely long time before I ever vote anything but tory again. In my life I've voted tory once.

Lost me folks.

Sunnyuplands · 25/10/2019 18:38

Pray for Sally 🙏🕯️🥕🔗🐺

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/10/2019 18:46

Is there no other way to force a GE? I can't see any other way out
The only other way is for Boris to resign or call a VOC in himself and whip all his MPs to say they have no confidence in him.

Problem with both these is that it is literally stepping into the twilight zone and it might not result in a GE, nobody knows.

And if Brekcow reverses his resignation then it would not bode well for democracy.

DustyDiamond · 25/10/2019 18:58

Shucks, thanks all ❤️

I'm a swing voter as well Sunny, Tory in 2015 to get the ref, and in 2017 to get Brexit done 🙄, EU elections this year I voted Brexit Party

Prior to that I've switched between Labour & Lib Dem for GEs, but varied between UKIP & Tory for EU elections

I'll be Tory now until Labour sort their shit out & purge the corbynites & I can't see myself going Lib Dem again if they continue on the path they're on

Bearbehind · 25/10/2019 19:09

I really am intrigued.

The Brexit Arms has always been for Leavers counting down the days until we leave.

We are fast approaching the passing of deadline number 3 where we have failed to leave and what that entails has been dumbed down so far it is unreal.

How do Leavers justify this to themselves?

How do you equate the actual reality with what you voted for in 2016?

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 25/10/2019 19:09

You're welcome DustyDiamond. It's the one ds dropped in the litter tray.

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 25/10/2019 19:13

Bearbehind to answer that they'd have to know what they voted for and no one seems to knowing rather, is prepared to answer. "To leave" covers many variations as is so vague.
