Your pain in the neck should disappear with a Brexit victory EpicWaffle!

Brexit soothes all ills

#NotPropoganda

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 19:26

I'm hoping for utter carnage in a GE walking

I'm all gung-ho for scorched earth stuff now...!

ArseDarkly · 23/10/2019 19:39

I am up for rallying people and fighting Parliament, for our democracy

I wonder sometimes if all the 'leavers' on this thread are 100% genuine or just amusing themselves

Epicwaffle · 23/10/2019 19:42

“Your pain in the neck should disappear with a Brexit victory EpicWaffle!”

One can only hope! Grin @DustyDiamond

@Sunnyuplands Wine is my medicine tonight! Grin I can’t take ibuprofen (asthma) and have no heat devices available, so that limits me somewhat! Luckily I don’t have it all the time so I haven’t sought any medical help for it. But if it keeps happening I may need to Sad. Sorry to hear that you suffer too, I can highly recommend wine. Grin Wine

Funniest thing I've read all day 😂😂😂

I naturally have an appropriate Winnie the pooh meme for that... Grin

Arf epic.

Yes I've been plagued with it's for years

I couldn't drink wine with mine it would be horrific.

Try sitting up really straight, tucking one hand under rear and using other, pull head in opposite direction.

Sunnyuplands · 23/10/2019 19:53

What would happen to remain vote?
Would people go for lib dem or corybn?

I think Farage has gone to extreme and many people will see his stance as risking loosing brexit..

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 19:57

Funniest thing I've read all day 😂😂😂

I like it when you laugh Bellini 😘😂

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 19:59

Under rear??!!

Im trying to visualise this manoeuvre Sunny 🤔

Neck pain is horrid - much hugs & sympathy for you both xx

(Proper lol at piglet epic 😂)

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 20:01

I think Farage has gone to extreme and many people will see his stance as risking loosing brexit..

I think you're right

He'll take the extreme leavers & also the leavers who can't stomach voting Tory

Most moderate leavers will likely vote Tory I think

Epicwaffle · 23/10/2019 20:11

“I think Farage has gone to extreme and many people will see his stance as risking loosing brexit..”

Agree 100%

GreenishMe · 23/10/2019 20:24

Evening All

I'm a Labour voter (normally)......not anymore though I'm afraid.

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 20:31

Evening 🍷

Who will you vote for instead of Labour do you think?

Epicwaffle · 23/10/2019 20:36

Evening Greenish! Wine

howabout · 23/10/2019 20:44

I think Farage has gone to extreme and many people will see his stance as risking losing brexit..

Agreed. But I also think he has worked this out and it is a deliberate strategy a) to get to the Brexit voters Conservative voters can't reach
b) to paint the Tory position as moderate c) to keep the Tories from going softer on Brexit

Neatly avoids need for formal pact or even talk of it.

TheSultanofPingu · 23/10/2019 20:50

So certain posters upthread were suggesting Brexit supporters in labour strongholds vote for the Brexit party in order to fulfill their dream. Now these same posters are saying that Nigel Farage is too extreme and the conservative party are the party to trust to deliver Brexit.

It's shit like this that annoys me so much. Would you like the Brexit party in charge of your constituency?

howabout · 23/10/2019 20:52

Epic I used to get stiff necks all the time. What works for me is pulling my chin as far down towards my chest as possible to extend the back of my neck and a scarf or roll neck. And sometimes a hot shower. Wine

Neck extending thing I learnt from a yoga teacher and for prevention I do Pilates spinal alignment type stuff.

GreenishMe · 23/10/2019 20:54

In the next GE, I'm going to use my vote purely with a view to upholding the result of the Referendum.

Once that's been achieved I'll vote differently again.....but I still won't be reverting back to Labour because I can't forgive what they're attempting to do now.

If my vote in the Referendum was so unimportant that it can be ignored, then they clearly don't need my unimportant vote in an Election.

howabout · 23/10/2019 20:59

Re Remainer MPs not reading the optics. I think they DO see the optics. For most of them their position is nothing to do with opposing Brexit.

Ex-Tories are vehemently anti-Boris and are still trying to save Osbornomics austerity Conservatism.

Labour is all about the internal power struggle and trying to cover their LibDem defecting flank.

LibDem is all about using the opportunity to rebuild post their 2015 decimation.

SNP is all about destroying Labour in Scotland and keeping the conversation on Indyref.

If the Remain Opposition were actually thinking about Brexit at all they would be working together - they have a majority.

GreenishMe · 23/10/2019 21:00

Rant over....hello Dusty, hello Epic Wine

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 21:06

Both can be true at the same time 🙄

Brexit Party would not get a majority in WM but could conceivably appeal to leavers who cannot countenance voting Tory in labour strongholds

The only options for leave supporters are Tory & Brexit Party

Walkingdeadfangirl · 23/10/2019 21:13

How could any remainer ever vote for Corbyn, a lifelong EU hater?

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 21:15

Rant over....

😂

I do feel for you - I've a friend who was staunch Labour, Guardian reading, proper lefty who has flipped over the last 3 years to full on rage!

He's lost his shit with the whole lot, voted Brexit Party in EU elections, is voting Tory in next GE & is massive anti-Guardian now 😂

It's not just Brexit, it's other stuff as well, but his rage is rooted in how badly betrayed he feels.

Once Brexit is done & Corbyn is gone he'll go back I'm sure, but for now they've lost him completely.

DustyDiamond · 23/10/2019 21:18

How could any remainer ever vote for Corbyn, a lifelong EU hater?

It's bizarre isn't it!
