No, not everyone on the left is a commie, just like not everyone on the right is a member of the National Front. JC however, is a Marxist who has always proclaimed to hate the EU until it became crunch time.

Like I have said before, the one thing that really gets my goat is the mockery that is being made of the democratic process. I KNOW that the outcome of the Referendum was not legally binding. This was however how it was sold to the voters and what was promised at the time.

And I do believe MP’s know exactly how their Constituencies voted. It’s all water under the bridge really.

This really was the one time where - in my opinion - MP’s should have voted as per that outcome. I’m a big fan of Opposition as there are always 2 sides of a coin and ruling parties should never be able to “just” implement their will without a healthy debate etc but in this case the Democratic process should have been just that.

And yes, I say this as a foreigner who ran the risk of having to leave this beautiful country.
