Quite coincidentally I too have been in negotiations today regarding the pubs licence and it's good news here as well, a deal has been agreed!!

There were no amendments or legal objections put forward so a shiny new licence has been issued and normal service can be resumed Smile

Same rules apply.

Now let's hope Saturday's proceedings can go ahead without the usual dicking around and that what has been nigh on impossible during the last 3 years, a majority, can be achieved otherwise I feel we are off to hell in a handcart!

First drink is on the house 🍻🍷🍻🍷Cheers

Dragging everything out is literally a tactic.
Grieve just on sky saying he doesn't understand what the urgency is the, the only urgency is what Boris has set up himself Hmm

Forgetting its 3 years since the vote and that Remainers clearly, very clearly don't want to honour it.. The idea being, look how awful brexit is... Let's vote again.

It's like watching a toddler stuff a sneaky biscuit in their mouth thinking we can see them.

We all know this isn't brexit, this is Remainers thwarting brexit and the tactic is to delay and mess around for as long as possible.

Sunnyuplands · 22/10/2019 18:02

Arghhhhhhh!

Can't see them!

DustyDiamond · 22/10/2019 18:03

😂😂😂😂

time4chocolate · 22/10/2019 18:06

Oooh I feel a wee pub game coming onDusty

‘Vote for your fave’ - it’s very difficult to narrow down but I have settled on 29/30 (KS) - its a bit of a corker Grin

Labour now trying to counter BJ & gain the front foot by posting on Social Media a copy of a letter they've sent to BJ with the offer that they'll back the business motion if he extends the timeframe.

Not a bad move to try & dodge the 'Brexit-blocker' charge - wonder what BJ's response will be...?!

DustyDiamond · 22/10/2019 18:18

😂 lol Time4 - I think Keir gets my vote for being overall winner of the 'Duplicitous Wanker' prize 🏆

In other news, I've seen other MPs suggested up as fanciable on a twitter thread...

Suggested Dominic Raab (resident Brexit Arms pin-up), Steve Barclay, Johnny Mercer, Mark Harper & Labour's Dan Jarvis

People have also expressed desire for Mark Francois, Steve Baker & BJ

Geoffrey Cox got a mention as well but the suggestion of Ian Blackford got laughed at 😳

GoodJobSteve · 22/10/2019 18:19

Forgetting its 3 years since the vote and that Remainers clearly, very clearly don't want to honour it.

If the ERG had voted for May's deal, we'd have been out already. If May's deal had been negotiated with cross party support we'd have left in March...but it's all 'Remainers' fault, of course. Wink

Walkingdeadfangirl · 22/10/2019 18:22

We cant have Brexit because ... no deal
We cant have Brexit because ... it sells off the NHS to Trump
We cant have Brexit because ... it destroys workers rights
We cant have Brexit because ... it destroys environmental standards
We cant have Brexit because ... it means Parliament becoming sovereign
We cant have Brexit because ... it means leaving the EU
We cant have Brexit because ... unicorns will die

Remainers have scraped through the bottom of the barrel and are tunnelling down to Australia.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 22/10/2019 19:09

they have started voting

DustyDiamond · 22/10/2019 19:24

Here we go.....

Sunnyuplands · 22/10/2019 19:29

Here we go, here we go, here we go!!

DustyDiamond · 22/10/2019 19:32

Fucking blocked

Quelle surprise.

General Election????

DustyDiamond · 22/10/2019 19:38

Blackford says Scotland must have independence 🙄

Why does he bother to stand up?

Buffoon

TheMustressMhor · 22/10/2019 19:43

BoZo is hedging his bets, as ever.

He should have done exactly what he's said he would and gone straight for a GE.

Sunnyuplands · 22/10/2019 19:48

Painful.

I wouldn't mind if anyone in that embarrassing room could debate and get somewhere!!

How many more hours wasted on corbyn and Blackford??.
They don't give a shit about us!!

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 22/10/2019 19:55

Oh dear. Toys out of pram.

OrangeTwirl · 22/10/2019 19:58

He should have done exactly what he's said he would and gone straight for a GE

Yes. I was waiting for him to call a GE too. I have no idea who I'd vote for tbh 🤷‍♀️ one thing is certain. It won't be Labour 🤦‍♀️

bellinisurge · 22/10/2019 19:59

Surely you lot shouldn't be that pissed off. The deal got support. The timetable didn't but surely that's not insurmountable. Johnson didn't spit his dummy out and go for a GE because he probably knows he's nearly there.
No it's not going to go all his way but that's clearly the direction of travel. And any delay will be a short one.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 22/10/2019 19:59

So MPs agree a deal with one face but on the other say, "like we are ever going to let it pass... snigger".

GreenishMe · 22/10/2019 19:59

I'm confused (no news there)......it feels like we just edged closer to leaving but it's being called a humiliating defeat at the same time.

It's so draining

ContinuityError · 22/10/2019 20:00

Yes. I was waiting for him to call a GE too

How?

TheMustressMhor · 22/10/2019 20:00

How many more hours wasted on Corbyn and Blackford?
They don't give a shit about us

But the Tories do, of course.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 22/10/2019 20:02

So a 3 month extension, we go for a GE.
A 2 week extension we carry on with bill.
I could live with that.

TheMustressMhor · 22/10/2019 20:04

It's remarkably quiet in this pub tonight.

time4chocolate · 22/10/2019 20:05

Oh dear. Toys out of pram

Ooh I think we've had another flasherSmile
