I’m sure no party leader would take the UK out of the EU when there is legislation to prevent it. The legal ramifications would go on forever and kill the UK legal and parliamentary systems.

I am sure their is a way around it. The bill says he has to write a specific worded letter to the president of the European Council. Maybe he could print said letter out and hand it to Tusk ripped into prices with some succinct words telling him where to stick it.

Because that would be what a grown up does.

When parliament subverts our democracy the people have to rise up. And if that means telling politicians where to stick their EU, then that is what a grown up leader does.

That is what a GE is for, its shameful that Corbyn is too chicken to have one.

Until no deal is off the table, Corbyn won’t vote for a GE and as BJ is so untrustworthy, he’ll probably wait until after 31 October.

The only way to take a 'no deal' off the table is to change the government. If somehow an election is delayed until 1st November Boris can just take us out of the EU the day after he hopefully wins an election.

I repeat the EU know Tory's will win on a take us out of this mess vote.

It doesn't matter whether or not the election is 15th Oct or 1st Nov, a GE will come and if Boris wins he can take us out of the EU the day after.

I think Corbyn is going to get a lot more abuse if he keeps running away from this. People are fed up of this delay and Corbyn is now the person causing the delay.

But it is the job of the party in government to back their Prime Minister on a crucial issue or, as we have seen, they get the whip taken off them. TM should have taken the whip of ERG and their minions when they failed to back her.

And who is to say there is a majority for No Deal? We can't have a GE until the childish tantrum that is No Deal has been taken off the table.

I agree, thankfully we now have a proper leader now who has reintroduced the idea of disipline.
