I see, asking you for a critique of the border in the sea suggestion and asking you for an alternative solution to leave but protect GFA = talking down to you. Hmm

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:30

No, but this was

β€œYou don't like it? I don't care. β€œ

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:31

And the β€œUnicorn” quip.

And the β€œtriggered” quip.

Don’t be obtuse.

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:32

I'm trying to point out that I'm not so wedded to tbe idea that I won't listen to you. I'm not "hurt" by you not liking it.
But if you want to assume I'm attaching you, that's obviously suiting your outlook.

jasjas1973 · 05/09/2019 13:33

I merely expect my vote to be upheld, I’m not sure I could have been any clearer on that really?

Your vote has been upheld, the country has been paralysed for 3.5 years whilst a way is found to keep the GFA and stop too many jobs being lost.

As Parliament cannot agree on a means to do both, then a GE is the right way forward, however, only an idiot would trust Johnson, so Labour should insist on a November GE, he has been plotting this for weeks, its only fair Lab also have sufficient time to prep too.

If the country still wants Brexit, then Johnson will win with a landslide.

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:33

Lol πŸ˜‚ Yeah, of course that’s what you meant.

Sorry, guess I was just triggered. πŸ˜‚

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:33

And given that you are clearly triggered by anyone who isn't you, it was an observation not a quip.

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:35

Your stress levels must be through the roof because you are still stuck in the 2016 referendum campaign.

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:35

My vote has been upheld? Sorry, did I miss brexit happening? Because the last time I looked, we were still in the EU?

Genuinely baffled by that comment.

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:36

Did you support WA? Do you have a suggestion for an alternative arrangement?

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:36

Yes because Unicorns are normally observed in any rational argument. Hmm

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:36

I repeat, Did you support WA? Do you have a suggested alternative arrangement?

SistemaAddict · 05/09/2019 13:37

BELEAVERS IRRATIONAL REACTION TO QUESTIONS SYNDROME (BIRQS): the irrational and angry reaction of BeLeavers to any question at all regarding their rationale/logic/knowledge or indeed any question whatsoever by Remainers resulting in refusal to engage at all, or else claims of being accused of being thick and/or racist even in complete absence of any such accusations.

@TheElementsSong new one for the dictionary Smile

mummmy2017 · 05/09/2019 13:38

Oh just read, don't worry,
The vote goes through the lord's.
Election.
Boris will win. He repeals the law.
Out we go no deal all in under 2 weeks.

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:39

Not quite like that. Do keep up.

Fedupcitizen · 05/09/2019 13:39

I give up. Whats the point.

Yet more ridicule and ignoring.

Enjoy your pointless echochamber.

mummmy2017 · 05/09/2019 13:41

bellinisurge,
No seems it can be that easy..

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:42

It's your pub. I supported WA. I have added a suggested alternative arrangement. You have flounced. Hmmmm

ListeningQuietly · 05/09/2019 13:47

What will be the best bit of a no deal Brexit?

mummmy2017 · 05/09/2019 13:49

That we move on from this limbo.

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 13:50

Would you trust a man whose own brother can't work with him?

time4chocolate · 05/09/2019 13:50

Fedupcitizen ooh lovely, I've just finished work so think I'll have a large🍷 - next one's on me😊.

mummmy2017 · 05/09/2019 13:55

Today 13:50bellinisurge

Would you trust a man whose own brother can't work with him?
I disagree with my sibling on Brexit. So yes if he disagrees with the way the country voted and feels his views are not the way forward, then yes he should resign, rather than try to subvert the govenment.
Or would you rather he was a sore loser and deselected?

bellinisurge · 05/09/2019 14:08

Yes, it's irrelevant that he is his brother. Hmm
Just like it's irrelevant that he has dumped Churchill's grandson. These are all irrelevant.
The referendum of 2016 trumps the democratic election of 2017. It also trumps the cross community will of the people of NI.

mummmy2017 · 05/09/2019 14:21

Just seen this
Boris could go to the EU on 31st refuse to ask for an extension.
If he doesn't ask the EU can't give one.
Boris will take us out
There is nothing parliament can do.
Even if Boris resigns he still take us out...
