Johnson likes publicity.

Any attention is good attention. Whilst you are talking about how crazy his idea is, the less you come up with your own.

And there it is. The lack of plan to stop no deal. Just a bunch of idiots who argue over who is more right about politics without offering up a practical solution.

Unable to see their own flaws.

And leading us ever closer to the cliff edge and operation Yellowhammer.

If I genuinely didn't know who claig was ... I don't think I would have picked up on that vague mention or its insinuation. If however I knew exactly who claig was (probably because I was them) I'd be jumping all over that remark to disingenuously claim I didn't understand it and prove it couldn't possibly be me. Even though the remark was innocuous enough that anyone who actually didn't understand it wouldn't pay it any attention ... thus proving I in fact did understand it... huh ...

Sometimes the sneakier thing is just to stay quiet.

I think we've all learned a valuable lesson here.

Thanks for the new thread red

PMK - tried to get a new photo of my kittens but they are camera shy today.

I don't need to be sneaky - I've never changed my username. Posters often have a distinctive style - I sometimes recognise a name-changer.

Agree about The Big Short - the book in particular, fascinating and easy to read.

So you do know who they are? - because you have heard the name before. Which makes asking who they are a rather strange question on this thread, wouldn't you say?

... I'm thinking of changing my name to Columbo.

Although here is one - looking a bit bemused. I left the back door open and she isn't sure whether she should go out without being asked.

I've heard the name before but I don't know who they are.

Corbyn to leave open support for alternative caretaker PM to do ‘everything necessary’ to stop no-deal Brexit

Labour leader still focused on getting numbers to put him in No 10 after no-confidence vote – but will not rule out different stopgap

Aides said he remained focused on seeking to persuade MPs to back him, if Boris Johnson can be toppled in a no-confidence vote – but described it only as the “simplest and most democratic” solution

A fantastic weekend of wonderful socialising, only bought down by reading the Sunday Times this morning which felt like repeatedly stubbing my toe. O what joy awaits us all.

EU27 citizens contributing to the UK & those still wanting to visit, in the event of a catastrophic no deal, deserve more certainty & advance information than this. Another reason why a disorderly Brexit would be reckless & shouldn't be normalised.

Prat Patel is a scary home secretary

Sounds about what we should expect from Priti Vile Patel. She's the witch who advocated starving Ireland and wants to bring back the death penalty.

The plan for the end of FOM (or lack thereof) is unbelievable but typical of the great No Deal Delusion. Like with food, meds and other piles of shit heading our way, the reality of ending FOM at the end of half term will hit so fast and so hard, it'll kill quite a few brexshitty unicorns at least.

Culling it is, so.

I thought that the EU was going to allow UK citizens to visit without a Visa for up to 3 months, and it was reciprocal?
