It wasn’t meant to be unkind, it was simply point out the impact of failing to see the bleeding obvious.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 21:55

Bear your voicing what I told her, and even that DD said herself, she flicked a seed off it...
We thought she had actually cut the top off and the nail was holding it in place...111 said A and E. X ray was needed as well...
Once more while thanks for defending me, I know I am just st as bad as others here .
Had I voted remain I would be just as livid that this was happening. But I would still think the end result would be the same, as too many view points to ever be able to agree.

bellinisurge · 19/07/2019 21:57

No Dealers are determined to lump themselves in with Leave voters and that contempt for the idiocy of No Deal = contempt for Leave voters. Spin it how you want. Play the victim all you want. No Deal is shit you are seeking to inflict on everyone.

Bearbehind · 19/07/2019 21:57

Fair play mummmy. We’ll never ever agree on Brexit but I’m sure we can agree on the perils of life in general!

ContinuityError · 19/07/2019 21:58

Bear Young persons do not have the capability to assess risk in the same way as adults.

ContinuityError · 19/07/2019 22:00

And that’s probably to mummmy too.

Peregrina · 19/07/2019 22:00

Why don't we reconfigure some of those disused industrial buildings into plastic recyling factories. Instead of shipping it out, lets keep it here and do that ourselves, using clean technology. Let's start this in our most deprived areas.

Why not indeed, HateIs? Who though, do you think has the Political will to do so? I cannot see Johnson doing so. Had she played her cards much better, so that Brexit didn't destroy her premiership, I think May might have been more open to suggestion in this respect.

Please don't say there is no money, money was found for the DUP after a botched election, money will be found for tax cuts for the already wealthy.

HateIsNotGood · 19/07/2019 22:01

I really don't think anyone knows what is going to happen next - I didn't think the UK would vote to Leave the UK, I never imagined that Trump would be the POTUS and it might be poss that BJ won't be Tory Leader/PM because it's the expectation he will be. I, like everyon else, know nothing.

The existing status quo does not work well for the majority, in the UK nor worldwide - so a lot of people in the UK just went fuck it. What isn't included in most descriptions of people like me is that we want to build something new and are quite happy and 'mentally' prepared to go through 'hardship' to get to that. Encouaging Tarquin or Ariadne to study on an Erasmus programme isn't on our radar.

Sometimes it's better to have that 'resilience' than a carefully crafted argument based on publications.

Bearbehind · 19/07/2019 22:01

What scares me about your post sleight more than the fact that 30% of people at the sharp end of Brexit originally thought it was a good idea, is that now they’ve changed their mind, there’s no way of them expressing that which will make a difference.

frumpety · 19/07/2019 22:03

To be fair to Mummys daughter, I have hidden DH's mandoline after two incidents involving a rather scary spray pattern of blood across the kitchen cupboards Grin

bellinisurge · 19/07/2019 22:05

"Encouaging Tarquin or Ariadne to study on an Erasmus programme isn't on our radar."

Who the fuck are Tarquin and Ariadne? Are they from Liverpool which voted Remain?
Seriously, get over your ridiculous cliches .

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 22:07

*It is however reasonable to expect that people like Mummmy should make at least a small effort to find some evidence and present it on a public board

No it's not 'reasonable to expect' any such thing*

Come again?

In that case, Wednesdays are now Saturdays and I am Queen because I say so. I cant back it up with anything factual, I just feel like it.

Can you imagine if police investigations and court rooms ran on hearsay with a complete lack of evidence? If you're gonna put your head above the parapet, the least you can do is have a fool-proof argument.

It's not fair to invalidate someone's feelings but when they are gonna fuck up the country long term, they better equip themselves with some good insight and facts.

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 22:10

Classiest as fuck

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 22:10

HateIsNotGood, duck and cover...
Your saying things that I have for 3 years and the replies will get nasty .

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 22:12

17 Million people are proof there is something wrong in how we see the EU, and that given a once ever chance people took it .
I can't throw facts about trade deals and other things because they are unknown....

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 22:13

Mummy - in fairness Hate actually makes some good points. Just a shame they aren't in the governments interests. I haven't seen you say anything nearly as articulate. Hate talks about environmental issues. Unless I've missed something, I don't believe you have

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 22:14

17.4mn people believed lies and didn't realise it was all smoke and mirrors

Tarquin, Ariadne, Sixtus or Boniface will still be able to go on an Erasmus programme because Daddy has made a lot of money on Brexit. The ones who won't be able to will be Ollie and Ellie, Chris and Dawn because the ease of going via FoM has been taken away from them and they don't have wealthy parents who can buy an EU passport for them.

DustyDiamond · 19/07/2019 22:17

17.4 million people were not of a hive mind.

Many were eurosceptic looong before the ref was even considered.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 22:17
Grin So now you agree we don't know what will happen next... I will take that, thank you.
Peregrina · 19/07/2019 22:22

17 Million people are proof there is something wrong in how we see the EU, and that given a once ever chance people took it .

Many of them listened to the lies of the man who is likely to be PM soon. He was at it again the other night talking about the rules of exporting kippers from the Isle of Man, (not in the EU) and blaming the EU, conveniently not knowing or ignoring the fact that it was UK legislation.

Those who listened to the same man's lies about money for the NHS are going to be disappointed, because he's gone quiet on this one.

HateIsNotGood · 19/07/2019 22:24

bellinend you're lowering the tone - and I'm sure you're grown up enough to at least understand that good humour exists even though you might not have an humorous side to you.

A lot of posters here are at least recognizing that mummy is human.

Pere - the political will to promote regional plastic recycling factories comes from me and the many from either side of the Brexit 'line'. The difference post-Brexit is that the 'existing powers that be' can't duck behind the EU and blame them anymore.

Cheers for the warning mummy - don't worry I know what this lot are like, been here for years....

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 22:24

Dusty diamond- yeah because of years if negative rhetoric via our right-wing rags.

If they didn't fabricate crap, you wouldnt give it a second thought
