Looking for some lighter brexit relief by fellow leavers... Every thread I've glanced at seems to be dominated by renainers?

Is there any space for leaver on here?

Just interested... I wanted to chat...

{That doesn't sound like a statement from someone who regularly speaks English.}
Sounds a bit muffled, like someone talking through their rear end.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:20

On mobile sometimes it adds words, or changes them, and you can't edit....

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:22

Ha ha..
Well no one are your bullshit either as we are leaving .

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:22

Should be ate your bullshit.

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 12:23

Why is your grammar so terrible, mummy?

What's the deal with.... littered throughout your posts?

Are you well off? Got a well paid job?

ShatteredBrianne · 19/07/2019 12:26

"But the person unemployed and in bad rental housing with no money , is and has voted, you have no choice, you have no way to change this...."

There is NO WAY anything has been added or edited via your mobile phone in this sentence! I'm convinced you're a bot.

Lonelycrab · 19/07/2019 12:28

She/he/it has bot written all over it imo.

DorisDaysDadsDogsDead · 19/07/2019 12:30

But bots usually try to have at least a modicum of coherence. Mummy seems to be simply hard of thinking.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:32

At least I think we are leaving, soon.....
.... Because it annoys you so much.

Lonelycrab · 19/07/2019 12:33

Just trying to stir people up I think.

Doesn’t seem to have been a member for more than a few weeks.

Seems to have no posting history about anything non Brexit related.

Mmmm

bellinisurge · 19/07/2019 12:34

"On mobile sometimes it adds words, or changes them, and you can't edit...."
Not to the extent that seems to happen with your posts. And you can edit them before you post.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:39

That still does not mean my bad Gramma changes things...
People voted for change, any kind of change from the last two decades.

Yes total worth it, to come out of the EU..

ContinuityError · 19/07/2019 12:40

Lonelycrab

mummmy2017 and that idiosyncratic posting style has been preaching no deal for a couple of years now.

I always think of Hari Krishna’s with shiny eyes and tambourines when I read those posts.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:43

Why do you not understand?
This Echo chamber has reinforced your views of being right .

Yet nothing you have said changes what is happening.
It is like your locked here blind and dumb . .

sionnachbeag · 19/07/2019 12:44

The grammar is appalling as well.

She isn't a new poster though.

sionnachbeag · 19/07/2019 12:45

"This Echo chamber has reinforced your views of being right .
Yet nothing you have said changes what is happening.2

No one has ever said it changes anything that is happening, but you are happily proving us correct that many leave voters did vote out of stupefying ignorance.

You won nothing, nothing will improve for you or your family, it will get worse.

countrygirl99 · 19/07/2019 12:48

I know people, like my parents, who voted leave because " we're not allowed to celebrate Christmas ", I know farmers who voted leave because they thought there would be less regulation, I know people who thought the EU would collapse so better to get out first, I know people who voted leave because of bendy bananas. What I don't know is a single leaver who didn't think there would be some kind of special arrangement like Norway or Canada etc. Not one leaver I know wanted no deal at the time of the referendum, even when I pointed out that some of the arrangements they thought would happen would be same party, kids table. I was accused of being negative about these wonderful arrangements that would be so easy - they needs us, we are so special etc. Now, half of them are saying its what they wanted all along. And they wonder why people don't respect their views.

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:48

Changes is better than decades of the same, with no hope.

countrygirl99 · 19/07/2019 12:53

Mummy 2017 I pity you if you had no hope but I was full of it as were my kids, my cousins and friends. I know so many people from the UK who had seized the opportunity offered by freedom of movement. People who have worked all over Europe from Sweden to Greece. Students who have gone to Universities in Germany and Holland at much lower fees than here. People who have spent time working in other countries to improve their skills and build business networks that enabled them to prosper.

DustyDiamond · 19/07/2019 12:54

Jo Cox RIP was murdered by thugs of a 'Leave' persuasion. Since this is a lighthearted chat you are wanting, please justify her death. Her killer was representing you.

Utter bollocks.

  • One thug, not plural 'thugs'
  • Far right extremist, not 'of a leave persuasion' (leave voter/supporter does not equal far right extremist)
  • No need to 'justify her death' just because one is a leave voter/supporter (and 'justify her death'?! Really?! Fucking bonkers statement)
  • 'Her killer was representing you'? Fuck off. Hyperbole, insulting, offensively blatant lie. Are you seriously suggesting that leave voters/supporters are right wing extremists who advocate murder?
mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 12:56

Yet even with all this, it was not enough to turn the vote. ..Why?

sionnachbeag · 19/07/2019 13:00

mummy is just not worth debating.

Meaningless soundbites all round.

sionnachbeag · 19/07/2019 13:01

Leave wouldn't win again, they know this, and so do you

mummmy2017 · 19/07/2019 13:03

Yet in Real life, my views are normal.
People do feel and think like me, do feel that we have nothing too lose.
That the EU holds too much sway, that we had one time one vote too get out...so we took it and jumped ,not knowing what will come just that DC the idiot left the door open.

Isthisafreename · 19/07/2019 13:05

@mummy2017 - so what do you think of the statement by the UK parliament's Committee on Exiting the European Union:

"A no-deal Brexit, with no GATT XXIV agreement, would be at best a foolhardy gamble and at worst, lead to severe disruption, and it is neither desirable nor sustainable as an end state for our economic relations with the EU."

"This clear evidence reinforces our previous conclusion that a 'managed no-deal' cannot constitute the policy of any responsible government."
