So how are the celebrating going?

Didn’t exactly go to plan did it?

Has it started to sink in what a fucking mess this all is?

mummmy seriously, what do you think the point of cross party involvenmt is after we’ve crashed out with no deal.

Horse

Bolted

Because right now any time we have an election it is all change .
Certain things should not be used as a bargaining chip, the plans put it in force are relevant to the next govenment who ever they may be.....

CostanzaG · 30/03/2019 19:03

I take it ask all your friends, family and acquaintances to demonstrate how well informed they are at regular intervals then bear? Leavers and remainers?

I'd like to imagine you set them pop quizzes 🤣

Bornfreebutinchains · 30/03/2019 19:04

Mervyn king isn't afraid of leaving with no deal.

( Awaits comments about distster captilism)

I think we just need to move out and then sort out details. By phase 2 the dead wood will be cut out

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:05

mummmy I would actually love you to be right about that but you’re not.

Have you looked at the split of votes on Brexit?

With a few exceptions, it’s along party lines.

But Brexit isn’t aligned with party splits - that’s why this is so fucked up.

Politicians are putting themselves and their party before the country.

And if that was going to change it would have done by now.

Bornfreebutinchains · 30/03/2019 19:05

Bear is always so busy questioning people on here. I don't think he has time to quizz people in real life

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:06

I take it ask all your friends, family and acquaintances to demonstrate how well informed they are at regular intervals then bear? Leavers and remainers?

I don’t go round quoting how well informed they are, unlike you.

born As ever, you are just pointing at squirrels left right and centre.

mummmy2017 · 30/03/2019 19:09

I just think once the shouting and all the voting is done, if we leave it would be the right thing to do
That way both parties can hold their heads up a bit after the mega messy they have made of all this . Scoring points rather than thinking of the country.
As someone said if all sides had said ok, it was voted for let's make this work, we have two years, it might not be like this

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:11

I just think once the shouting and all the voting is done, if we leave it would be the right thing to do

Right for who?

That way both parties can hold their heads up a bit after the mega messy they have made of all this . Scoring points rather than thinking of the country.

Both parties can, and will be equally blamed for the fall out

OP posts:
CostanzaG · 30/03/2019 19:11

Exactly....how well informed he is. Not me.
Anyway...as fun as this is I'm off out with said husband and i guarantee we will not be discussing Brexit!

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:12

if all sides had said ok, it was voted for let's make this work, we have two years, it might not be like this

They did - both labour and conservative ran a GE on a leave ticket, and they’ve still epically fucked it up.

OP posts:
Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:17

Exactly....how well informed he is. Not me.

How well informed he tells you he is, not how well informed he demonstrates he is.

I often wish minor differences like that didn’t bother me as clearly they don’t bother others - but they do!

OP posts:
Bornfreebutinchains · 30/03/2019 19:18

I'm not pointing at squirrels I'm pointing at 🐻 Grin

I think because remain parliament has not allowed this vote to sink in, we collectively pyscologically need no deal.

Ironically.

mummmy2017 · 30/03/2019 19:18

Bear your right, cripes our MP's make me want to shake my head in shame.
May trying for a fourth time is beyond understanding.

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:18

I do actually agree with that born

OP posts:
Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:19

Bloody hell, 2 agreeing posts in a row!

Maybe we should all go for Wine now

😂

Bornfreebutinchains · 30/03/2019 19:20

Bear, half labour and half Tory don't want breixit.

It's not Been given proper work.

It's Been fire fighting... and in the background.... Hurt wounded egos in EU parliament... and Blair telling them not to help us out. Hang on... force them to want to stay..

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:22

half labour and half Tory don't want brexit

Agreed, but then they vote with their party not with their beliefs.

Hence the mess.

Costa enjoy your night out.
DH and myself are opposing voters to.

DH is remain and not politically minded or educated at all.
I never interrogate him on his vote and I know it's not well informed and quite weak reasons.

I have lots More knowledge... and I've studied politics , I've been Very interested in this subject for year's and year's and joined tactical voting to put pressure on Cameron to give a vote.
DH has never asked for my views and I've never given them.

mummmy2017 · 30/03/2019 19:30

I love how they say a free vote, then posted who voted how, so May can scream at them.
Did you see the bloke saying UK got into the Tory meeting so he got deselected...

Learntoloveyourself · 30/03/2019 19:31

Is that you Jeremy?

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:58

Bearbehind · 30/03/2019 19:59
