Vote 12th March: Meaningful Vote on the Withdrawal Agreement

Vote 13th March: If WA fails, vote on No Deal

Vote 14th March: If WA fails, vote on A50 extension

Not much more to add at this stage that's not repeating what's been said before.

Grayling, for the lolz

borntobequiet · 11/03/2019 20:37

Hunt, for the sneakiness.

RedToothBrush · 11/03/2019 20:37

May normally looks grim and miserable around Juncker. Or just lost, lonely and massively out of her depth.

'Delighted' could well be a relative term.

Thank you. PMK

SparklySneakers · 11/03/2019 20:40

Where's the chocolate. I can't stand the suspense.

TatianaLarina · 11/03/2019 20:40

I know all arguments, BCF but the bottom line is this is a shit deal for this country.

I don’t agree about EU opinion, they have simply emphasised that extension needs a purpose, a no brainer, to focus UK minds.

There’s so little support in this country for the deal, I’m not sure that trying to implement it will ever actually work.

highly likely that any amendment on PV will also be voted down

Imagine how much harder it will be to get a PV if the WA goes through.

Littlespaces · 11/03/2019 20:40

Hammond?

Butterymuffin · 11/03/2019 20:40

Javid, for the SAJacity

1tisILeClerc · 11/03/2019 20:42

{We just need to crack on with voting down the WA and getting an extension.}
BCF beat me to it but it would help seal the fate of many workers in the UK, there will be a point that keeping factories and jobs open is unsustainable. I doubt we are there yet but I think BMW making minis said a day of non production is a loss of around £60 Million. If I have remembered that right, it is not far off the £350 million a week on the side of a bus.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/03/2019 20:42

I've got tummy ache :(

Littlespaces · 11/03/2019 20:46

I've had a glass of Wine.

Nicely happy atm. Hope it lasts.

TalkinPaece · 11/03/2019 20:46

I hope they do not cancel the Easter Recess
it would destroy the holidays of thousands and thousands of civil servants' families
who have done nothing to cause this
in fact many of them are clearly VERY against it

1tisILeClerc · 11/03/2019 20:47

{I know all arguments, BCF but the bottom line is this is a shit deal for this country. }
Hanging around for a decision does not help. The management of the UK is badly broken and it may take 6 months or a year to fix it. UK business and the EU can't wait while the UK gov buggers around.
In some ways Brexit is not the biggest issue in the EU, while important, it is a sideshow.

SparklySneakers · 11/03/2019 20:48

I'd like to know ow how the hell she's allowed to try and get her deal through again when it's already been voted down?

Littlespaces · 11/03/2019 20:50

A fudge.

Littlespaces · 11/03/2019 20:50

And multiple bribes.

Such is democracy. Wine

Ross Kempsall @rosskempsell
Cabinet ministers have been invited for a briefing with David Lidington

Some in the HoC are so on top of this they probably thought they were voting for custard creams to go with their coffee.

RedToothBrush · 11/03/2019 20:52

Alberto Nardelli@albertonardelli
Worth keeping in mind that most of the rest of the package was agreed in principle over the weekend, before cabinet members nixed it.

My rational head tells me there’s very little the EU can say that will sway the DUP or ERG. They’d have to go back on pretty much everything they’ve said for the past few months.

PestyMachtubernahme · 11/03/2019 20:54

Gavan Reilly @gavreilly

Taoiseach has spoken to Juncker. A pizza delivery has just gone into Government Buildings

I like their style.

Littlespaces · 11/03/2019 20:56

Rumours on Ch 4 news that the new thing agreed is the EU allowing Britain to have its own new unilateral declaration about backstop.

So not an EU declaration.

RedToothBrush · 11/03/2019 20:57

I now REALLY want to know the orders of the EU leaders and Theresa May.

I can't imagine her eating pizza without a knife and fork.

It's what the EU is all about!

LadyGregorysToothbrush · 11/03/2019 20:58

It’s Government Buildings in Dublin that are getting the pizza
