Been reading all these threads on here about Brexit and just wondered if anyone voted Leave?
Fwiw, I did.
If you voted Leave what do you anticipate will happen before 29/03?

Dont be shy, I can't be the only Leaver on here!Smile

And this photo gives a good idea on how complicated WTOcan be.

WTO agreements at the signing ceremony, Marrakesh, 1994. The rule book is on the far left. The rest are more than 20,000 pages of the original 123 members’ individual commitments

@Buteo

Thank you, that's really helpful. Do they all become void in the event of no deal?

Buteo · 14/01/2019 19:01

Kenn as they are EU agreements and the UK will no longer be a member of the EU, then yes?

lljkk · 14/01/2019 19:15

I have a genius brainwave.

As of 11pm tonite, Can we 'suspend' EU membership (freeze it cryogenically).
11:01pm we go straight to No Deal.
Let's try that for 2 years exactly.
Then Parliament decide whether to reanimate EU membership (& revoke A50), or stick with whatever conditions there are as of 14.1.2021.

lljkk-yes, plumbing will be a big problem because as we’ve been told today there’s going to be a shortage of toilet paper after Brexit so lots of blocked loos with all those people wiping their bottoms on government propaganda leaflets and other inappropriate materials.

I need a “like” button for SingleDadReally’s last post. Brilliant Grin

As part of 'Brexit bingo' you mean, like the 'occurrence that didn't occur 18 years and 14 days ago?

1tisILeClerc · 14/01/2019 20:26

Or 19 years perhaps!
