There's a deal.

The press are over excited.

May has united the country.

Everyone hates it.
(Apart from David Allen Green)

Parliament might yet reject it.

Nothing is yet decided and everything is still to be sorted.

@islandinsummer5566 , if you don't see why the Irish border has always been the key issue, you haven't been paying attention.

Ian Dunt @IanDunt
Leavers, I'm not sure this argument that Raab didn't negotiate the Brexit deal is as strong as you think it is.
Was he increasingly sidelined as his obvious inadequacies became clear? Yes. But Christ alive man, we've watched the man go into talks and sit there and then do press conferences afterwards. He is the Brexit secretary and this is the Brexit deal.
I get that you're not so hot on taking responsibility for your actions, but this is a big step even for you guys.

I'm LOVING carpet bagger as a description. Its PERFECT.

have you ever actually been to a real poor country???

I have. If you had, you wouldn't be so keen for us to become one.

Go trolling elsewhere.

If you need insulin and can't get it, the lack of it will kill you.

There are a whole panoply of medications that are not produced in this country, the lack of which will kill people.

Radio isotopes for cancer treatments are needed - and come from across the continent.

No Deal will mean delays at the ports - so these medications and treatments would be caught up in those delays - if they're allowed to be transported at all (on the case of radioactive materials Sad)

Some of them can be stockpiled - as the Government has asked the Pharmaceutical industry - but a) not all of them and b) there isn't physically the warehousing, let along refrigerated warehousing, in the UK to do so. Sad

What is extraordinary is that Theresa May just keeps on going, still answering questions in the House of Commons, as her Government appears to disintegrate around her. She is the epitome of resilience. #Brexit

If you are dead from lack of insulin will you be honoured as a patriot?

Or just dead?

*Gove as Brexit Secretary.

Is it wrong at this point to think this isn't a bad idea. Or am I just being ridiculously naive?*

He's hand-in-glove with Nick Boles who was pushing "Norway for Now" and is now just pushing "Norway". So possibly could be good or at least, not the worst outcome.

But there's so little time. The EU if told we were completely changing our strategy would probably feel like telling us to f*ck off.

Raab resignation: The man sold as the 'big brains of Brexit' turned out to be a chancer and a fool. Who'd have thought.

Raab resigns: The shabby end of a pitiful career

Ian, did you really just type that? We all know Carpet Dom, will be just fine, whereever his career takes him now.

@islandinsummer5566

What is the purpose of your posts in this thread? What are you hoping to achieve?

merrymouse · 15/11/2018 12:41

Pretty difficult to ignore a land border with the EU or that Ireland can veto any agreement or political history.

HPFA · 15/11/2018 12:41

Please just go away. The country feels like it's falling apart and you're just peddling the same bullsh*t that's been killing us for the last two years.

We need to start being grown ups and face reality.

David Allen Green @davidallengreen
Dominic Raab spend spent years at the Ministry of Justice failing to repeal the Human Rights Act.

And now...

...sometimes things are not as easy as they seem.

I know now that island is either a GF or a troll or can't be bothered to RTFT (or the many previous ones) as yes, I have been to a developing country.

But anyway, what a horrendously low bar - that the UK wouldn't/isn't as bad as a genuinely poor country. Hmm The 5th/6th/7th as we're dropping down largest economy in the world and that's the standard that we're to measure ourselves against? Hmm

RedToothBrush · 15/11/2018 12:44

Geek Boy @GeekBoyMusic
Crikey. On @bbc5live just now @RoryStewartUK just embarrassingly claimed that 80% of the British public support May's deal. And when @Emmabarnett, to her credit, asked "how on earth can you possibly know that?" He had to admit he'd just made it up.

Bless Rory.
