Only 1 rule.
No c&p posts a mile long, they’re just boring & no one reads them.
Keep it short, sweet, & to the point.

Gesus! What will cheer up you leavers? We've got dancing, whooping and tounge twisters and still your moaning about remoaners. You should be so happy, we're highly likely to have a recession after all, YaaaaY

UnnecessaryFennel · 10/09/2018 15:45

Yeah, come on - cheer up, you won, get over it!!!11!!1

gnomeisland · 10/09/2018 15:46

Ah, come on now crabby!
You have to admit the lorry park one was good

and based on internal Brexit impact reports from two Conservative-run local councils

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 15:48

I think the army look sexier than the police so I am so happy that they will be out of the streets stopping me rioting!

UnnecessaryFennel · 10/09/2018 15:53

gnome the lorry park one was indeed excellent Grin

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 15:56

gnome I'm sorry the brexit biatches didnt bravo your brilliant lemon based tounge twister!

1tisILeClerc · 10/09/2018 15:56

I try to suggest music but apart from Donna Summer mentioned yesterday, these have been no takers.
We could have 'Through the barricades'. Something from Atlantic Crossing. Hell, get the kids in and have the Wombles. Quiet Riot by the Clash. So much great stuff and you lot are sat here in silence.

1tisILeClerc · 10/09/2018 16:00

Are the last two words of the 'lorry park' one ,,,'Oh Truck' with a slight misspelling?

topcat1980 · 10/09/2018 16:00

Never seen a bunch of such miserable sourpusses as Brexiteers.

Mind you winging seems to be their default state.

Thecrabbypatty · 10/09/2018 16:03

Move over Stephen Fry, we have a new linguist in our midst right here on MN, you heard it here first. Groundbreaking stuff! Ok, it's late / I've got work tomorrow / dog needs to be fed / taxi has arrived/ house is on fire so I'll be off now, great chatting to you, byyyeeee. Slopes off and waits until the remainer trolls have ambled off back under their respective bridges, kicking their heels up to Karma Cameleon on their way home and waiting another ten years to gatecrash another party.

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 16:03

I did a fantastic alliteration tounge twister about DP's tablets, complete with regional English accent but no one likes it....!

Devo. I try really hard to make suffering look light hearted and normal but I'm still being rejected by the winners.

topcat1980 · 10/09/2018 16:11

All of them beat Boris's efforts.

UnnecessaryFennel · 10/09/2018 16:15

Hazard Flowers there ain't much lighthearted about medicine shortages, in truth...

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 16:32

fennel thank you GinWine

But what if I put into song?

I will walk 500 miles
And I will walk 500 more
To be that woman who walked a 1000 miles
To get the meds for the man I ADORE

1tisILeClerc · 10/09/2018 16:34

Tenpole Tudor if I remember correctly?

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 16:39

Proclaimers!

1tisILeClerc · 10/09/2018 17:16

Thanks!

10degreestostarboard · 10/09/2018 17:45

Unnecessary

Yes medicine shortages, riots, the seven horseman of the apocalypse, zombie apocalypse... Brexit really is diabolical.

But at least it allows all these ‘preppers’ (a very curious pastime) to say ‘look we aren’t so odd after all - we are normal I tell you, normal!!!’

frumpety · 10/09/2018 17:47

Yay just found a Brexit dividend , organic food might be cheaper if the growers can't sell it to the EU

One notice in the first set published on 23 August, Producing and processing organic food if there's no Brexit deal, suggests that organic agri-food products would not be allowed into the EU until UK organic certification bodies are officially recognised by the EU Commission – as this stands, this approval could take up to nine months.

There see I am nothing if not fair Smile

Hazardswan · 10/09/2018 17:50

frump shhhh! I knew that and kept it close to my chest for a reason lol.

bellinisurge · 10/09/2018 17:51

@10degreestostarboard - a prepper like me doesn't tell you in real life that they are a prepper. And I certainly won't go around saying I told you so you in real life.
As for it being a curious pastime, meh, you do you sweetheart and I'll do me.

surferjet · 10/09/2018 17:57

Is it Friday yet?

Near enough Surfer, near enough Gin

bellinisurge · 10/09/2018 18:27

I'm foraging some sloes for Gin. Think I'll drink through "Brexit Day".

1tisILeClerc · 10/09/2018 18:37

I think there may be a little snag folks. While organic may get cheaper in the UK until it gets recertified unfortunately everything else we make will need recertifying too so we won't be able to sell may things to anybody else for a while.
It won't translate into cheap cars either as unless there is CU or SM deal there will be no cars made. There is a long list of course but for now shall we have a quick round of 'wheels on the bus'?
