Good news yesterday < gets out green highlighter >
Still work to be done but it’s another step in the right direction.

Wine

Ps: completely given up on the Brexit Arms as it’s been taken over by remainers.
This is our chilled out place to post on in the run up to March 2019.

Positive people only Smile

In fact, we could probably make some sort of success of Brexit if the Government was prepared to put sufficient time, e.g. 10 years ish, and effort into it. This would mean cutting out the silly slogans, and listening to industry when they list their concerns, and think of practical ways to tackle them, instead of accusing them of not being positive. Instead we have a Govt which hasn't got a clue what to do about the Irish border, and is in real danger of breaking an International Treaty, as just one issue for a starter.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 18:17

I'm just too fucking agree at the ignorance.

Its worn as a badge of honour.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:18

Sort surfer but I won't 'calm down'

Your cronies on here are a disgrace.

I appreciate you literally don't give a shit about the repercussions of leaving at you've never pretended otherwise.

I'm disgusted by mummmy who bleats on about how we should be able to trade with other countries but has absolutely no clue which countries those might be, on acccount of the fact we could always do pretty much what we wanted anyway- we just couldn't be arsed to trade with other countries, unlike Germany and France.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:19

Exactly ghost, and I can't even type 'angry' properly as I'm so fucking angry.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:23

Wow by Jove go got it.
We have no answers as nothing has finally been decided..
Swearing because it hurts to realise you don't know...
Slow hand clap..

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 18:25

we know Brexit will lead to downturn because you have been told about the governments own assessment reports stating as much on numerous occasions.

Leavers on here on the other hand had no fucking idea what they voted for which is abit like buying a house without ever viewing it or knowing any details about the property. I think must people would find this perplexing.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:25

mummmy give it up, you've made an epic fool of yourself today.

You've confirmed you had absolutely no fucking clue what you were voting for and that any vague notions you had were entitrely unfounded.

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 18:28

Leavers on here on the other hand had no fucking idea what they voted for

🤔 🧐 👎

I know what I voted for:
Brexit

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:29

And you have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are powerless to change a single thing.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 18:30

Brexit is just a word though isn't it? Because no leaver here can define it or its execution.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 18:32

And you have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are powerless to change a single thing.

Right, so we agree Brexit wasn't about taking back control? So what you were saying before about voting for change was utter bollocks wasn't it?

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:34

brandy, not even TM is deluded enough anymore to say 'Brexit means Brexit'

You saying you 'voted for Brexit', makes you look more than a little foolish.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:37

And you have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are powerless to change a single thing.

I don't actually need to change a thing.

We're getting BINO.

We're staying in SM/CU because we can't come up with a better plan.

It's the least worst option.

It's a Leavers who are going to luck out.

The thing is, by then you'll all have been brain washed into thinking it's what you planned all along.

And you're too stupid to realise that.

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 18:40

Brexit is just a word though isn't it? Because no leaver here can define it or its execution.

Brexit:

  • No longer a member of the European Union
  • Freedom to be autonomous wrt laws, trade, immigration
  • No longer subject to 'ever closer union' & all that entails
BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 18:42

We're staying in SM/CU

🤔

Where has this been reported?
Do you have an insider scoop on this assertion?

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:43

When something I voted to happen is happening...wow

You think BINO but can't know for sure.

We knew once we voted that ever thing afterward was not something we could influences .

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:45

TM has dumbed leavers down every step of the way.

We've conceded everything so far

  • abiding by all EU rules for the transition period even though we have no say in them
  • losing BMA etc
  • continuing to pay the EU.
  • full FOM during the transition period
  • only being able to negiotate trade agreements, not enforce them with countries we can't even think of and who won't be as desperate as we are

Yet every time your expectations get cut back you make out you always knew that was the case.

I'm absolutely dying to see you reaction to the u-turn on SM/CU.

I guarantee you'll all make excuses about it.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:47

brandy unless you have a miracle solution (and if you do I suggest you call TM pronto) NI cannot be resolved unless we stay in SM/CU so regardless of what has been said previously, it's the only option.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:54

Bear what are you going to do if SM/CM is not acceptable and we crash out with no deal...
I ask as I really do still think it could happen as there are a lot of articles about it.
There are a rumours that many MP's would rather accept this the BINO deal.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 18:56

mummmy, it won't happen.

Idiots like you might have been allowed to vote to Leave but those in charge of pressing the button on no deal know that it is economic suicide so they will never, ever do it.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:57

Than BINO....correction

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 18:58

It won't be voted for it will be we ran out of time and options..

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 19:00

Just learned what 'sea-lioning' was on another thread.
Perfect description of the remoaner posters that haunt any & all pro-brexit threads on MN.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 19:00

It will never get to that.

TM will announce we need to stay in the SM/CU in order to move on with the NI issue.

That has to be decided in the next few months.

Peregrina · 24/03/2018 19:05

TM has dumbed leavers down every step of the way.

Well, of course, the Leave camp should have put up a better candidate that Gove for the Leadership. The golden floppy haired boy bottled it.
