I think the U.K. is significantly less racist than many other countries. Before Brexit we kept a lid on those who were racist, they were too ashamed to speak.

I would not agree that the "U.K. is racist" it does have racist elements however.

I too think the UK is significantly less racist than most, if not all, of the countries I have lived in/visited across 4 continents. I do not agree with the statement the UK is a racist country mainly because the 'ism' is attributable to individual behaviour not something that a 'state' can be.

I’ve read posts on here from people saying they’re embarrassed to live in the UK now because the world sees us as racist ( does it? ) I’ve read loads of similar posts.
We’ve also got someone who comes on here saying all leave voters are Nazi’s - I could go on & on & on with examples.
So stop playing the shocked innocent, plenty of your side think there’s a massive racist element in this country.

Anyway Faith, just in case you missed it at the end of p23, just wondered what your thinking is - having identified an EU report that stated that all the required technology elements were available for a virtual border, do you think that virtual border could be in place in just less than 13 months - Brexit date, or by the end of the transition/implementation period - currently working on Dec 2020, or is it an unknown?

I don’t think the U.K. is racist - it’s probably one of the most tolerant countries in the EU. Remainers are the ones obsessed with racism. Direct your question to them.

Give it up fairh. you exert way too much time defending other people’s comments (which are indefencible) when you’d be much better off attempting to defend your own comments.

This discussion thread concept really is poitness if people don’t stand by and explain / support what they say or base their comments in reality.
