Give over faith, it's your and your fellow Leavers decision that has caused this situation so don't come over all concerned now.

You all decided to choose this despite there being absolutely no plan.

Even now all we can do is make one conflicting statement after another and ignore anything we don't want to hear.

You caused this. Take some responsibility for that and acknowledge that people are rightly extremely worried because there's absolutely no certainty at all right now because we are simply a incapable of coming up with a realistic plan.

And two posters (you & Londonmum) chose to ignore the poor woman & instead utilise your words to pick apart mine.

It's alien to me that anyone can be so un-self-aware & so utterly lacking in compassion as you & Londonmum have been tonight.

... and this, dear friends, is the real Project Fear. Yep, people are afraid, depressed, in need of professional help in order to cope. The country is very slowly but surely going down the drain, yet those responsible are desperately looking for someone else to shamelessly blame. Not even scant remorse.

It's all your bleeding fault!! Own it.

Families worried about being split up, bills, money worries. Yep Brexit induced stuff like this will affect people’s mental health. Added pressure on the NHS too no doubt but at least brexiteers will have something else to whinge about.

Bit late for concern from leavers damage started 2 yrs ago and is ongoing.

I cannot believe that you are actually hijacking someone's struggle with depression to try & score a political point.

I'm sure you and those in charge acknowledging what a hash we are making of Brexit would go an awful lot further to help her than your concern for a situation which is of your doing.

Nobody is hijacking. Brexit is now real and having negative effects on people’s lives.

Faith Forgetting Brexit, Thank you for your understanding. I really don’t want to derail this thread and make it about my mental health. I am having an utterly shit time right now but I am getting support in place. I will be ok but thank you. I am going to give myself at least a weeks break from these threads.
This hasn’t been caused by Brexit but it’s not helping. I will move myself over to the mental health boards. I really don’t want to make this all about me. I will be ok. But thank you again, it really is appreciated.

I understand MissHoolie - it's a rubbish thing.

There's some lovely posters on the MH boards - do you have quick access to a crisis team if you need them?
It's def worth checking in with the dr as soon as poss so they've got you on the radar.

It is possible to have compassion and concern for others (and to share other things in common) without having it turn into a them and us situation. You might want to go through the rest of your life like that but most people don’t.

I have experience of mental health issues in my family and it’s a b***d.

MrsHoolies has my genuine and heartfelt best wishes and I don’t give a s**t what anyone else thinks.

Can people please stop attacking Faith in my name? Much as I disagree with her about Brexit, she has shown me compassion and understanding which I genuinely appreciate.
Brexit isn’t the cause of my depression but it really is exacerbating it. But, I would still be depressed even without Brexit.
Give Faith a break. She has tried to be kind to me and I appreciate that.

And apologies for swearing at you, you're a longstanding poster who I respect & have grown fond of , even though I'm diametrically opposed to you on brexit.

Londonmum on the other hand I do not apologise to - I meant every word that I said to her.

@MsHooliesCardigan we are obviously all feeling for you and hoping you will get better soon. However, I will continue to challenge the people responsible for this Brexit mess, please don't take it personally and take good care of yourself. It particularly pisses me off to see those responsible rushing in with crocodile tears. Even BrexitArmsLandlady suddenly materialised hoping to show how compassionate she really is. Irritating! Even if you are not depressed directly because of Brexit, as you said - it's not helping, and other people are indeed seriously and directly affected.

It's just so frustrating that Leavers are still being so blasé about the consequences of Brexit.

I really do think it would go a long way for people, especially TM, to acknowledge the risks.

The closesf she's come is to say that we'll carry on regardless because it's 'the will of the people'.

That's just blame-shifting.
