Idiocracy in action... What could go wrong?

Bearbehind · 23/01/2018 20:10

A miss is as good as a mile.
You keep losing and still you stand and shout.

mummy, you must actually be being paid to post this shite- no one would make themselves look so foolish otherwise.

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:18

So if the prominent ELITE, you know the ones with money and power and degrees and that stuff, think it won't all end in tears.
They think and write that we get 14.5 Billion a year back, to spend in the UK, without influence from the EU.

They see we won't be asked to pay for the mistakes of the other countries, amounting to extra Billions we have to find to bail them out.
That if we do well we won't have to pay more for doing better than the others.
That IF the world carry's on growing at the rate it is, we won't sink, even if we don't grow as quickly, we could have in the EU.
That given a few years when trade deals kick in, things will improve even more.
That the outlook has not been as bad as stated, that along with the bad will come good.
Are you saying people whom have these jobs are lying, and have no basis to project these thoughts.
Because if you are, then your also saying that the same people on the oppersite side of the fence must also be peddling lies,, as both would have had the same education, access to the same information, and if so then it's all based on Conjecture.

Oh and we have been told the UK will drop a bit in economic terms, not that it will tank and fall through the floor.

Moussemoose · 23/01/2018 20:21

@mummmy2017 I'm the one who doesn't understand?

The greater number = majority

Yes a 'simple' majority for an advisory referendum. That does not mean it has to happen and everyone should go home.

In FPTP systems the majority does not always win.

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:21

Bear, it would suit you to think that I am being paid to post thi, hate to break it too you but there are several Million who feel just like I do, they just don't post about it.

Just like I think your views are slightly .......* %^W££ too .............

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:25

But we are leaving have you not read any of this thread.
If you put your fingers in your ears and sing LA LA LA, then you can pretend in March 2019 as well.

Bearbehind · 23/01/2018 20:27

mummmy not even I can be bothered to discuss this with you anymore- you can't argue with your kind of logic, or lack thereof.

HangingRoundInABofAlorsStance · 23/01/2018 20:32

*In the definition of Europe as a community of values there is the idea of a shared history of ideas and culture amongst all european countries.

Create a poster/presentation addressing the topic ART in light of this statement*

Hello. I know we are leaving EU but can any of you help with my DDs homework before we do?
Flowers Brew Cake

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:32

Bear it's you that can't take the logic.

Referendum.
Election.
Article 50.
Talks.
We are out.

Moussemoose · 23/01/2018 20:34

@mummmy2017 you state that "we are leaving" but you keep on saying we don't know what the future holds.

We haven't left yet. Parliament can vote to reverse the process and the EU could let us.

Not saying it will happen, just saying we can't predict the future.

#dontbesosure

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:37

Wow clucking at straws... much Moosermouse

LondonMum8 · 23/01/2018 20:40

It's simple - just like an alcoholic gets off on consuming a harmful substance, so does m2017 additionally binge on her illusory victorious disaster.

WE WON! Β£350M/WK FOR THE NHS AND THE SUNLIT UPLANDS PROMISED BY BORIS!!!

In reality businesses and jobs are leaving, the pound is down, the economy is a laggard, the NHS is in seizure, UKIP is falling apart, even Fromage is talking about another referendum, and Putin is still very happy. Big congrats, well done!

GhostofFrankGrimes · 23/01/2018 20:42

Do we class the millionaires that bankrolled the leave campaign as elites? What do we say to those that have lost their jobs due to Brexit? When Britain gets its post Brexit windfall can I expect the Tories to use it to eradicate poverty, food banks etc?

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:47

Just as you have your views, I am allowed my views.

You can try to bully me, but that won't change what happens in the long run, what I voted for was to come out of the EU, not to have to pay ever increasing amounts to fund their runaway budget.
I got what I wanted, the only chance I would ever have to leave the EU in my lifetime. Yes I am pleased about that, sorry I know you can't get your head around the concept, and I am sorry this distresses you all so much, but nothing will stop me thinking I did the best think for my children. Just like I can accept you feel it is a disaster.

AgnesSkinner · 23/01/2018 20:49

WE WON! Β£350M/WK FOR THE NHS AND THE SUNLIT UPLANDS PROMISED BY BORIS!!!

Seems like Boris’s call to the government for more cash for the NHS went down like a bucket of cold sick today.

Sunlit uplands indeed.

Bearbehind · 23/01/2018 20:49

not to have to pay ever increasing amounts to fund their runaway budget.

Which part of 'we are still going to pay the EU in order access the SM' do you not understand?

Moussemoose · 23/01/2018 20:53

I don't 'feel' it will be a disaster, I 'think' it will be a disaster.

I can "get me head around the concept" I understand it may well happen and I also understand the negative consequences.

I suggest it may not happen based on constitutional theory, I fully accept we may not have ref 2, but it is possible.

Moussemoose · 23/01/2018 20:56

Also mummy no one is bullying we are debating. Will you stop pulling this card out. You know full well your friends might show up tomorrow and the debate will change again.

You are 'allowed' to think what you want we are just discussing the consequences of the decision.

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 20:57

Let's wait and see, no point jumping the gun.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 23/01/2018 20:58

Leavers will likely get their Brexit, but beyond that they won’t get the things the believe brexit encompasses. I think this is what they are struggling with, like a child excited for Christmas only to find their are no presents under the tree.

AgnesSkinner · 23/01/2018 20:58

Have you looked at the ECSC and the Schuman Plan?

I'm so sorry agnes for being thick, what has that got to do with Art? Confused

mummmy2017 · 23/01/2018 21:27

ec.europa.eu/commfrontoffice/publicopinion/archives/ebs/ebs_278_sum_en.pdf

A lot of waffle, but it may help. seems Gardening, Decorating and Crafts were mentioned.

HangingRoundInABofAlorsStance

AgnesSkinner · 23/01/2018 21:38

It’s the basis of the EC developing to reunite Europe after the wars.

Your DD can do anything with that and call it ART.

Moussemoose · 23/01/2018 21:42

@mummmy2017

Let's wait and see, no point jumping the gun.

Exactly, we're not out yet. Let's wait and see.
