Just that really. 52% voted to leave. I know Mumsnet isn't completely representative of the electorate but you would expect at least a few people to be banging the Brexit drum. The ones that were quite vocal seem to have lost their voice. Perhaps they're just bored with the whole thing but their silence really is deafening.

In a rare moment of self awareness, when you sober up, you might consider including yourself in those described by your user name.

If you miss the middle of that sentence out I'd describe them as Leaver voters; 'people who are intent on doing us economic harm'

And if you are talking about people causing economic harm to this country you might want to look closer to home.

The use of the term " a EU" is correct in the context. You may not be aware of this, but it has always been considered a bit naff on MN to pick people up on grammar and spelling. Usually those who do so realise that they have lost the argument.

We were walking in the woods this afternoon when the sky went weird, all yellowy - the owls started hooting because it was so like twilight.

Its been strangely warm as well
