Just ignore him everyone.

Poor Surferjet.

Remember when you said you wanted democracy, but then accused British judges of being traitors because they wanted the Brexit Bill to follow British constitutional law, and have it voted on in our sovereign parliament.

You don't know what you want, or why you want it. The reason you cling to your "victory" is because you are too proud and stubborn to admit the elite right wing duped you into voting for them.

Tell me about Magna Carta being for the common man again, that was hilarious.

bathildabagshot1 · 20/08/2017 09:41

BTW I would LOVE to hear Claig's take on how Trump is winning and Brexit is against the elites now.

bathildabagshot1 · 20/08/2017 09:44

Oh and where is tryingtosaveup who wants all immigrants to start leaving and has very nasty, and counterfactual things to say.

Was she in Charleston last Friday?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 20/08/2017 09:52

Trump and Brexit two cheeks from the same arse.

surferjet · 20/08/2017 10:02

bathildabagshot1
It's just your posting style is relatively rare on mumsnet. Twitter, even FB, are home to the more hardcore debaters, you know. where there's much wider interaction.
What are you getting out of posting on this thread? there's only about 10 people on it & very few lurkers.
I just don't get why you keep bothering?

OP posts:
bathildabagshot1 · 20/08/2017 10:05

Cause its fun to poke you with a stick Surfer.

Actually I think sometimes the level of debate is very good here, sorry to say, but its the leavers that bring it down, every time.

histinyhandsarefrozen · 20/08/2017 10:06

I don't think bb's style is rare at all!

Mumsnet is filled with debate. It's only here in the brexit arms that people can't answer a simple question.

Only the poster brexit Britain could answer how my children's lives will be improved post brexit - less polish shops! Grin no one else was able to. Some of you seemed very aggravated even to be asked the simple question. - That is very unusual on a discussion board.

Carolinesbeanies · 20/08/2017 10:11

Howabout, I hadnt fully appreciated the numbers in Scotland until now. Wow.

Its still shocking to read that English/Welsh/Ni students in Scotland, have to pay fees, but EU students from all other 27 states, get it free.

Weve got v/c's paying themselves £350k to £450k a year, (this is blue chip FTSE corps territory), whilst tripping along the bottom of the free speech rankings. We had something like 50 Unis in the early 1990s, we now have 140 odd. Those in England, all un-capped, limitless students, and we're told the UK tax payer should pay.

Clearly economics should be a requirement for entry onto any course.

surferjet · 20/08/2017 10:19

I'm really not worth your effort bathildabagshot1 but fair enough.

OP posts:
MsHooliesCardigan · 20/08/2017 10:19

Ghost Totally agree. Trump has lavished praise on those who voted for Brexit and believes it massively helped his case. Does it not concern any Brexiters that one of your biggest fans is a ignorant, narcissistic, psychopathic, possibly demented White Supremacist apologist?

histinyhandsarefrozen · 20/08/2017 10:23

The brexit arms were mostly v excited about trumps victory and thought those distressed by his early Muslim ban were hysterical.

So in answer to your question, mrs hoolies, I think no.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 20/08/2017 10:25

The Brexiteers will try to distance themselves from Trump but the damage is done. Look at the similarities between Trump and Brexit, scapegoating migrants, cheap slogans, far right support.

Carolinesbeanies · 20/08/2017 10:26

Sunday read... I missed this earlier this week.

The new european, complaining about dodgy polls. Made me smile.

@bathilda I'm just pleased to see you've toned down your insults, because as the parent of a disabled child, there's nothing 'fun' about disablist language, of which you used to be fond of throwing around.
Makes you look a dick.

histinyhandsarefrozen · 20/08/2017 10:35

Links?! Reading?!
There's Twitter and fb for that kind of hard core debating.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 20/08/2017 10:38

At least they're reading pro EU papers now. Grin

SabineUndine · 20/08/2017 10:40

Bottle of Beck's please. Do you do tapas?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 20/08/2017 10:42

Wow Sabine, i was going to suggest Italian coffee and a croissant. Hitting the hard stuff early. Grin

surferjet · 20/08/2017 10:45

Sure. & welcome to the Brexit Arms SabineUndine - the home of friendly, laid back debate on all things Brexit. Smile

Morning surferjet

The clock keeps ticking (albeit the bell's have been silenced) Brew

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 20/08/2017 11:27

But remember, I only do this for fun, and now and again, but I took down your beloved Claig and WinchesterWoman, and a few others.

😂

Who else did you 'take down'??!!

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 20/08/2017 11:52

But remember, I only do this for fun, and now and again, but I took down your beloved Claig and WinchesterWoman, and a few others.

Thats not rven vaguely funny

I liked WW especially

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 20/08/2017 11:56

Just wanted to clarify that what I find funny is the pathetic sentiment of that statement, not the fact that the poster in question had goaded people to the point that they left.

The poster in question is a nasty piece of work, not remotely amusing - just a sad, pathetic loser.
