Owen Jones writing about The Messiah! last November - v pertinent today:

^"...He oversaw the Iraq war and calamitous financial deregulation, and did lucrative work for foreign tyrants. No wonder faith in the centre-left has evaporated..."

"...^there is still precious little evidence that proponents of “centrism” have any interest in self-reflection. They believe they are in the political wasteland not because of their own faults, but because everybody else has gone madd^. And so they wheel out one of the most loathed men in British politics to try to save themselves. It is baffling, disturbing, and more than a little bit sad..."

Blair is brexits best asset tbh, he's probably one of the most hated men in Britain & is coming across as desperate & a bit mad.
Most people wouldn't trust him as far as they could throw him.

I am delighted Bliar has been wheeled out. If people didn't believe in Brexit before, they will now. He is our best weapon.
I agree he wants the job. He wanted the Nobel Peace Prize, the the EU president's job. He's seen his chance again.
Trouble is, everyone ( except a few remoaners) realise what he is up to. He is one of the most loathed people in the UK. He must be desperate.

time4chocolate · 17/02/2017 20:13

Surfer & Trying - exactly my thoughts, serving up A50 on a silver platter. What a complete ar*se.

surferjet · 17/02/2017 20:16

Yep. People are just laughing at him.

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 20:17

I cannot express via the medium of typed words alone how much I loathe him!

TheAugury · 17/02/2017 20:32

He looked really manic in that press conference

boredofbrexit · 17/02/2017 21:17

Plenty in London to lap up his forked tongue tales...but elsewhere in the UK they are not so gullible or forgiving. Definitely a reason he spoke from Bloomberg. Rich lying Fuckers of the world unite.

TheFullMrexit · 17/02/2017 22:23

Semi I feel the same I couldn't watch him speaking either. I don't know who thinks that man has anything worthy to say. Hmm

surferjet · 17/02/2017 22:28

He's a complete joke. Bring on a 2nd referendum you knob, you'll get smashed even harder.

It's quite funny

'(Wailing) how could you agree with anything farage et al are saying. He's an evil man, you shouldn't want to do anything he wants you to!'

And today...

'Oh Tony Blair speaks sense. Yes I know he's been a bit of a naughty boy but he sure does agree with me. So that makes him good again. Yay Tony!'

Remind me again. Seeing as how Farage is an evil racist and Tony is the new saint....what's the difference in amount of deaths caused between these two?

How many decisions has Farage made that resulted in the deaths of thousands of foreign people?

Toypotpony · 17/02/2017 23:31

And I'm not seven that keen on Faragr but fuck me, if I was going to jump in to bed with someone I know who I'm picking.

TheFullMrexit · 17/02/2017 23:54

Toy I was reading your post, nodding along in agreement until all of a sudden with absolutely no healthy warning I was thrown into momentary quandary as to which man I am sliding into the sheets with, Blair or garage ShockConfusedGrin what a thing to do to help someone!

Ha! Farage not garage Grin

TheAugury · 18/02/2017 07:06

If it's a choice between sleeping in the garage or with Blair that's bloody easy I'll stay in the garage for life it's where we keep the spare prosecco too so win win

TheFullMrexit · 18/02/2017 07:48

Ha lady ripping into Blair on sky news, cathartic to watch!! Open Britain movement, she thinks he is going to start his own party.

surferjet · 18/02/2017 08:13

Has Jeremy Corbyn said anything about Blair yet?
Feel sorry for JC having to put up with Blair totally undermining him.

OP posts:
TheFullMrexit · 18/02/2017 08:31

On other hand it could boost support for corbyn. Sky ranter said Blair has huge support and money backers behind him, and will start new party with new candidates
