scaryteacher · 16/02/2017 22:43

It made you all laugh!SmileSmileSmile

Limer · 16/02/2017 22:51

Love the humour on this thread.

Funniest thing I remember from the Brexit threads immediately post-Referendum, when all the Remainers were weeping and wailing, was a claim that Sadiq Khan was about to declare London as an independent city-state, because London had voted Remain. Genuinely made me LOL Grin

March in March? The month or the town in Cambridgeshire? They should've tried for a March in March, in March. Grin

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 13:38

After 8 months of lofty assertions such as:
"I don't understand how someone could bear to vote the same way as ; even if you really believe in Brexit how could you bear to be 'in bed' with them?"

(Usually accompanied with a haughty, holier than thou sniff).

How on earth do Remainers square literally throwing themselves, gleefully, into the sack with Tony fucking Blair??!!

The excited frothing of Remainers is almost too much to bear quite frankly.

(For clarity, this is a generalised aghast bewilderment at the about face of the often more sanctimonious of Remainers, not an attack on posters across the MN threads; it's also not an attempt to drag stuff from other threads over here, honestly).

time4chocolate · 17/02/2017 13:52

Heeee's baaaaccckk to save the day because apparently a lot of people have changed their minds Shock - what a hero!! (or rather he's got his eye on a job in the EU)

The Brexit Arms.
The Brexit Arms.
The Brexit Arms.
SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 13:57

And now we're back to being racists again too.

Coz Tony 'the messiah' Blair said so, innit.

Apparently The Messiah has cut through to the crux of it!
(All Hail The Messiah)

It's not the Eastern European migrants at all - no no no - those Brexiters actually have a problem with the NON EU migrants.

They just need to be convinced that they're just being nasty racists, and the good folk should RISE up against them.

Fucking prick.

Tanith · 17/02/2017 13:58

"The excited frothing of Remainers is almost too much to bear quite frankly."

There is no excited frothing. That's not what's been said, any more than leavers were called (according to you) "filthy pigs, harpies, racists... repeatedly" the other day.

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 14:01

People on this thread were called all of those things Tanith.

Don't be disingenuous.

I said on my earlier post I am not dragging other threads into this - this is just me ranting generally about Blair & the reactions across SM etc in general by Remainers.

I am saying things I want to say about the other thread on the other thread.

time4chocolate · 17/02/2017 14:05

Semi - I actually can't quite believe what I am reading to be honest, hence my picture contribution. I can think of lots of things to say about it but the only polite one would be "any port in a storm" and just on this occasion we are prepared to turn a blind eye to everything else that has gone before as long as we get what we want.

boredofbrexit · 17/02/2017 14:22

Well, I can think of quite a few wars ripe for starting by Bliar.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson added: "I urge the British people to rise up and turn off the TV next time Blair comes on with his condescending campaign."

Couldn't agree more. Smile

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 14:35

Am not misrepresenting anything.

People are free to post or read whichever threads they choose.
I have said it quite clearly twice now, but will say it once again:

My comments on here, today, so far, have been nothing to do with the WM thread.

They are a generalised rant about Tony Blair & his weaselry, and about how I feel re responses to that.

All comments or opinions I have re the WM thread, I am posting on the WM thread.

And, once again, those exact things were said.
And as for 'sycophantic toady' - wtaf?!
Get a grip.

Limer · 17/02/2017 14:51

The arrival of His Holiness Saint Tony is the sound of the bottom of the Remain barrel being well and truly scraped! I guess the Remainers are thinking that desperate times call for desperate measures Grin

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 15:26

Howabout, I found the clip of Bojo - he has soothed my rage Grin

TheAugury · 17/02/2017 15:29

Carry tales do we have a new headmistress in situ? Has Bear been ousted name changed
Still semi you've inspired a new name :sycophantic toady, bearing as much relation to your behaviour as all the other Remoaner name calling. We need a bingo card to tick off the nastiness.

scaryteacher · 17/02/2017 15:47

More of a simmer than a froth on the WM thread.

Totally agree Time now Juncker has said he's not running again in 2019, B liar wants his job and has weasled out into sight to stake his claim. He is also being disingenuous as we don't know the exact terms if we remain with QMV and further expansion in 2020.

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 15:56

But Augury - nobody ever said any of those things.
Apparently.
It's all a figment of my imagination.
Apparently.

Anyhoo - pics for the wall:

Bearbehind · 17/02/2017 15:56

Name changing is your speciality theaugary, not mine.

Funnily enough other people find the practice of reporting between threads tiresome and childish too.

SemiPermanent · 17/02/2017 15:58

Who was reporting between threads?

Not me.

Unbelievably Tony Blair is the subject of discussion across many outlets today.

howabout · 17/02/2017 16:23

Glad to be of service Semi Wine

Prickles123 · 17/02/2017 16:27

1. Send the bill to that patient's embassy in London, who will no doubt refuse to pay it. In which case, deduct the amount from our foreign aid budget to that particular country. So Priscilla's bill of £400k for delivering quintuplets and their aftercare would be deducted from aid that we sent to Nigeria.

I can't see that bothering the Nigerian government one iota. Most Nigerian foreign aid is used to target Boko Haram, so the people who would be bothered would be people like the girls they kidnapped.

Figmentofmyimagination · 17/02/2017 16:54

I'm no fan of Blair but it's IDS who I really can't stand. There is something deeply unsettling about someone like IDS - who has spent 19 years as a front bench politician and has led the Tories (albeit unsuccessfully) and who lives, courtesy of his wife's inherited wealth, in a 16th-century Tudor manor house in Buckinghamshire with a swimming pool and tennis courts and set in acres of countryside - coming on the radio and attacking anyone as an "elite".

It's no wonder people draw parallels between Trump and Brexit.

surferjet · 17/02/2017 18:20

Tony Blair bless him.
Brexit was a vote against elitist snobs like him. But if he's calling on his snob army to 'rise up' & start a revolution - bring it on baby!
