Coming back to Marine le Pen I thought it was very clever of her to characterise the debate as patriots vs globalists because it corrals people towards her Nationalist agenda. I also think it is a false narrative which is what TW and the rest of the Left should be addressing. TW sidestepped the issue entirely when AM asked him about socially conservative Labour voters. That was his opportunity to move the conversation towards policies for families and communities and he missed it. Instead he ended up talking about singing the national anthem. 
The contrast with TM seeking to address the JAMs and even Portillo urging the government to be bolder and build council houses is stark.
