THE BREXIT FALLOUT CONTINUES - THREAD NINE

The Tories have settled their scores and May is now PM.
Is it May's Day or May Day for the people?

After careful consideration I thought the best way to sum up the Labour Contest was in one simple picture. May Day, might also be appropriate here too.

----------------

Things are moving fast, so hold on tight for the Brexit Ride

Sense of humour compulsory. No experience necessary though

Think May strategy becoming clearer. Article 50 triggering also trigger for general election.

How can Owen smith do that? He's not going to have any power?? FFS. He can argue for the deal but I think the second ref is a non- starter.

Oh God. Could CG possibly get Health?? Please no.

Though it's notable that Gove has been much better at Justice than at Education - ministers do learn. Perhaps CG will do a better job at Health than the total car crash of Justice. He could make a law that if you get an actual diagnosis from a doctor you have to pay £84.

Exactly. More promises that he cannot guarantee. Yep, way to create more chaos, chump. I thought he looked promising, but clearly just another twat happy to spout whatever he thinks people want to hear.

Red the trouble is, I fear when you're 80% cockroach like Johnson, you somehow survive the fuck ups by doing a hilarious public appearance on a comedy show.... So him having a role which legitimately gets him TV air times means he'll be rebuilding his power/support in a Voldermort way so that in 2.5 yrs when everyone's forgotten he's a turd he'll be making a bid for the big job again Hmm

Boris won't have role in Brexit. Suspect he will accelerate FCO's transformation from foreign ministry to glorified trade promotion agency.

JRM is just LM wish list.
Yes, Grayling is widely thought to be useless, maybe running TM's campaign was his audition?

I think FCO is not good for a power base. It sounds good, but unless we're going to war (when no 10 takes over) it's largely abroad instead of getting to grandstand in the HoC. Fuck ups get known, successes less so, especially with the good stuff carved out to Fox and Davis.
