Would they stand a chance? Interesting. DC got in with 11m votes, Tim Farron could have 16m on his side.

I'm going to join the Lib Dems too. I have voted for them before but I've never been a member.

I don't really care if they're doing this in an opportunistic way to gain votes!

The point is that this is our only legal chance to overturn the referendum result - the Tories can't ignore it, Corbyn isn't really in favour of the EU anyway, but if Lib Dems are elected then they would have a democratic mandate to ignore the referendum result.

So if you are pro-Remain I think this is your best shot!!
