Seriously? majority of people who voted for leave wanted control of our borders, we brought into your story of an Australian style point system now it seems there's still going be freedom of labour movement which is basically the same thing expect they get less legal rights.

I didn't just vote leave for immigration but yes it was a big reason and if I known this, if remain had a better hammered this home I bet MANY leave voters would not have voted the way they did. If anything if this happens, many leave voters will join the remain voters in rage at the lies we been fed. (NHS, Immigration)

I have been a vocal leave supporter on here but now I am feeling pretty scared about what I have voted for. I blame the remain campaign for having an totally shit and ineffective campaign and Cameron should never have been the leader of the remain camp, as majority of people despise him and don't take any notice of what he says.

sooooootired option 3 you must make him do the ironing forever. Of course Wink

OP please sign the petition to fight for a second chance to have your true vote represented.

catgirl1976 · 25/06/2016 17:11

So NOW you are realising that you voted based on a big pile of bullshit and fucked the country into the bargain?

And these are the same voters bleating that the Remain camp are being nasty and saying that they voted ignorantly. Are you starting to see why that might be the case?

cannotlogin · 25/06/2016 17:11

I barel did any research because I was very clear what I felt was right...but this fact was very clear to me and came across very loud and clear. You really should have been listening...

DancingDinosaur · 25/06/2016 17:12

Most people don't go online researching everything each side has said

Speak for yourself Confused You don't make a choice in something as important as this without researching it first cough unless you're a dickhead Wink

chocolateworshipper · 25/06/2016 17:12

For no reason at all, I'm just going to mention that there was a very strong correlation between people's education level and the way they voted.

Anyone who believes Farage is as fruitcake as he is.

twofingerstoGideon · 25/06/2016 17:13

Actually, OP, if this thread isn't a wind-up, why don't you (i) sign the petition, (ii) write to your local MP objecting that Brexit conducted a campaign based on lies and (iii) apologise to the remainers instead of blaming them for your own failures.

lasttimeround · 25/06/2016 17:13

Read some stuff before you vote and try thinking

LondonKiwiMummy · 25/06/2016 17:13

We've been shouting it from the rooftops that Leave was systematically lying to you, and you've angry at the REMAIN camp!?! Don't blame Remainers that you're too dim to use your vote in your own best interests.

As for people criticising the Remain camp's reliance on experts: oh do FUCK OFF. You were warned again, and again, and again it was a spectacularly bad idea, and decided to chuck us all under the bus anyway. Every economist, world leader (including China!), leader, etc told you not to do it and you did it anyway.

It would actually be kind of funny, if the whole world wasn't staring at us in stunned disbelief wondering why we'd just committed an act of economic and political harm. And yes it's your fault for believing the lies.

I do think the Daily Mail has a case to answer for a lot of lies, I will say that. They are softening you up for freedom of labour now by the way - there's an article on their site today which for the first time very cogently sets out the rights of EU nationals under the freedom of labour rules.

[I will get through the angry stage of grieving eventually - it's taking a little longer than I expected]

YourPerception · 25/06/2016 17:14

Social unrest encouraged by that petition has begun. Expect Brexit voters to come out and fight back. This is going to be ugly.

All caused by a divisive Tory fight all keeping cover and encouraged by the sore loser trouble makers from remain.

WreckingBallsInsideMyHead · 25/06/2016 17:14

Those blaming Remain... You cannot make the truth more appealing than lies. If someone says "I'll stop immigrants taking jobs and benefits and make your life better" and someone else says "immigrants are net contributors to public finance and even if we leave the EU immigration will hardly be affected"... Idiots like the OP will believe the easy lie. If anything was as easy as Leave have been claiming, why would every expert be so strongly opposed to it?

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 25/06/2016 17:14

now I am feeling pretty scared about what I have voted for

I rarely swear on MN but I'm fucking terrified about what YOU voted for.

DesolateWaist · 25/06/2016 17:16

I didn't just vote leave for immigration but yes it was a big reason

What exactly was your problem with immigration? Go on.

Also bought and brought are two different fucking words with different bastard meanings You BOUGHT into the lies and hate from the leave side, not brought.

OohMavis · 25/06/2016 17:16

I managed to convince a couple of people to vote remain based solely on the fact what they thought would happen with immigration upon Brexit, in fact, would not.

I'm going to wager there's an awful lot more like you OP who either wasn't convinced or didn't do a shred of their own research.

What a huge shame.

Cjamm · 25/06/2016 17:17

You were one of the biggest leave voices on this forum, calling Remainders all sorts of names & telling us to get over it.

Guess what Rebecca, the NHS won't get a penny more & Immigration will not decrease, so kindly fuck off with your stupidity.

AyeAmarok · 25/06/2016 17:18

I'm trying really hard not to think harshly about the Leavers, but then I read threads like this and

You're making me think very uncharitable thoughts, OP.

SealSong · 25/06/2016 17:18

Fucking hell. Leave voters like Rebecca who are now regretting their vote are giving me the RAGE. Well fucking done you idiots!!

twofingerstoGideon · 25/06/2016 17:18

Posted by Rebecca only yesterday:
On my FB feed, social media, TV we are being berated for voting leave, we are being called racist, thick, uneducated, stupid, poor, peasants, benefit scroungers...the list goes on. There is even an petition now to have another referendum because obviously the leave camp know absolutely nothing.

Oh, the irony.

Chippednailvarnishing · 25/06/2016 17:18

I still think the OP is having a joke...

2rebecca · 25/06/2016 17:18

I voted remain but think it's highly unlikely a post Brexit UK will sign an EU agreement like Norway with freedom of movement. There will be too many angry people. I think we have to wait and see what happens but the government knows freedom of movement was a big reason behind many Brexit voters. Many countries in the north of the UK don't want freedom of movement that much either

DancingDinosaur · 25/06/2016 17:19

It really is a huge shame.

2rebecca · 25/06/2016 17:19

North of the EU not north of UK

albertcampionscat · 25/06/2016 17:19

Not sure bashing leave voters is going to help much. It was a bloody stupid vote, but smart people can do dumb things.
