Few threads started by those happy about this. I have decided to no further rain on their parade - they are entitled to their opinions . BUT anyone who feels otherwise ...welcome

I'm utterly devastated. And angry. Already all the consequences Leavers dismissed as Project Fear are actually happening.

And they're already rowing back on all the shit they promised. This is a lose-lose situation.m.

RortyCrankle · 24/06/2016 11:32

I had no intention of reporting those who copied your ignorant remark - just the original - sorry to disappoint. Having yours removed was sufficient.

Byee

Bye-bye Rorty.

Off you pop.

ohdogoaway · 24/06/2016 11:33

Yes don't let the door slam you on the Arse on the way out. I started this thread so people could vent and find comfort rather than bun fighting. It is very easy to go and join the conversations on the "we are finally free " threads if it offends you

Thanks for repeating it yourself, Rorty.

Saves me posting it again. Thanks for the help.

OiWithThePoodlesAlready · 24/06/2016 11:35

I'm gutted but hopeful for Scotland.

I'm in Scotland and I truly believe we will become an independent country because of this.

squoosh · 24/06/2016 11:35

There's something so pathetic about people who have to let you know they've reported your big bad posts. Sad little individual.

ladydepp · 24/06/2016 11:36

OMG - looks like another referendum for Scotland, it just gets worse.

todayitstarts · 24/06/2016 11:36

Right - all you Remainers pack your bags and come to Scotland. And Vote YES for the forthcoming #indyref2

ohdogoaway · 24/06/2016 11:37

You might have all of London moving - then we can leave the rest of England and Wales to sort themselves out

As I said previously, one good thing is that it is nice to see loads of posters on here that I like and respect.

Solidarity can be a big comfort. Thanks folks. Star

todayitstarts · 24/06/2016 11:39

Great! Edinburgh is already set up as a financial centre. And it's rather pretty.

Numberoneisgone · 24/06/2016 11:39

I live in Ireland and I am terrified for Northern Ireland. They have been through so much and could do without the turmoil.

Maladicta · 24/06/2016 11:39

Utterly depressing today.
Whatever the result was going to be, this hideous process has generated such hate and paranoia we've changed as a country.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 24/06/2016 11:41

My DH's employer will most likely leave, my daughter is disabled and I felt she was protected by the EU laws... Basically, it's shit isn't it. Our economy looks set to be in tatters.

I didn't realise over 17million people were quite that stupid.

ThoraGruntwhistle · 24/06/2016 11:42

The same thing keeps going round and round in my head: the turkeys have voted for Christmas, but the rest of the farm get slaughtered along with them.

Sirona · 24/06/2016 11:45

Devestated.

I'm Northern Irish, this is something we didn't want and feel we've been fucked over. I'm not sure what this means about for the Good Friday agreement either, it will be a total mess.

A united Ireland may be on the cards.

OutsiderInTheGarden · 24/06/2016 11:47

Thora yes, this is exactly it! I fear that those who voted Out will be amongst the worst off, though I think most of us are going to suffer. I feel very depressed for my children, my immigrant in-laws and my brother living in the EU. And ultimately I just don't want this to be what our country is about, and the way we are viewed around the world. It doesn't represent me.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 24/06/2016 11:47

I feel utterly miserable about it. Proper, sick to the stomach miserable.

Someone on another thread said the Leavers who are shocked by the outcome voted with the mindset they would've used for voting on Britain's Got Talent, or words to that effect, and I wholeheartedly agree. Total ignorance.

I don't want to be part of this country anymore.

OutsiderInTheGarden · 24/06/2016 11:48

So do people want a general election? Do you think we'll get one? We could end up being out of the EU and with a PM that we didn't get to vote on either!

Powergower · 24/06/2016 11:49

So much for making us stronger. Looks like we will be losing Scotland and NI. Is this really what people wanted for our future generations? Isolationism, fear, xenophobia? So sad.

OutsiderInTheGarden · 24/06/2016 11:50

My partner and I have always said that if we couldn't live here in Cornwall we would move to Scotland. We better get packing!

Kidnapped · 24/06/2016 11:50

Lots of other interested parties circling now:

Spain coming out already saying that Gibraltar should be dual-sovereignty. here

Scottish IndyRef2 is looming, and they will vote out this time.

Sinn Fein already making noises about a united Ireland.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 24/06/2016 11:50

I'm gutted and shocked. This time yesterday I really believed that the country had more sense. Cannot believe so many people want to leave.
