Hello...My name is Showme..and I am a remainer

But I am also pragmatic, and a planner. My concern is the Leave campaign has no Plan. At all. Nadda

For me with objectives you have assumption oh and plans. I see an awful lot of we will be x better off, there will be x less of blah blah. But how?

So they win. And on Friday what? Day zero?

Let's see shall we? 😊

smallfox1980 · 24/06/2016 06:23

Can see already. Pound at a 30 odd year low. This does not bode well.

scaryteacher · 24/06/2016 07:23

Smallfox, nope we are back to UK in 2019; we have a house there anyway, are UK taxpayers. Dh has a 6 year contract here. I'd move back tomorrow like a shot, but dh wants me out here.

I have been out here for a decade now (all bar 9 months of house renovation), and want to go home. Belgium is a nice place to live, but it doesn't beat the UK and in particular, Cornwall.

PenguinsAreAce · 26/06/2016 16:49

Oh. Looks like maybe I was wrong and no-one had a plan:

winkywinkola · 26/06/2016 17:22

According to IDS, that's not a problem.

Wow.

Well now, in the absence of any coherent plan - or indeed, any leadership! - I shall take control. Gove will be delighted: he tells us that everyone's sick of experts and my experience as a childminder makes me as unqualified for the job as anyone Grin

Right then!

Boris, we don't say silly things we don't mean! It makes people cross and doesn't do you any good, either.

David, you really need to take some responsibility now - you're a big boy! I know you didn't mean it to happen, but it's up to you to help put it right.

Georgy - come out of that toilet! Have you got a poorly tummy?

Nigel, if you can't be nice to everyone, they won't want to play with you.

Now come along everyone - toys away and time for bed! We'll have a chat with Europe in the morning and see if we can't sort it all out for you.

smallfox1980 · 26/06/2016 19:13

Good luck in Cornwall scary, you know Cornwall has just written to the Government to demand the £80 million a week that they get from the EU doesn't stop?

Your chickens will come home to roost.

The only friggin hope I have from all of this is that the Americans will look at the Thing Called Boris (I can no longer call him anything else) And realise voting Trump in is a road to hell

Which is pretty much where we are now. However many leave voters have had a normal weekend and are not yet affected by this....give it 3 months when the infrastructure projects are halted. When supermarkets reduce hiring due to rising food prices etc maybe they will understand

We have to call our politicians to account - NO PLAN ffs

Sorry £80 million a year.

smallfox1980 · 26/06/2016 19:24

One of the tweets on this sums it up:

Cornwall was underfunded by Westminster, Cornwall then qualified for EU funding, Cornwall votes out of EU, Cornwall loses EU funding, Cornwall pleads Westminster for funding.

It would be funny if you lot handn't shot your self in the foot.

Oh and if your so wealthy through your DH "high skilled job" yet still voted out and intend to move to an area that is deprived with no regard for the communities you are moving to.

Well you know what you can do.

merrymouse · 27/06/2016 07:11

It's OK, Boris has a bit of a plan now.

In his mind, the referendum wasn't about immigration at all, so we have a clear route back to the single market. The referendum was all about laws. Of course we will have to abide by EU laws if we have access to the single market, so really what we are looking at is something very like being in the EU after all. I think every one will be OK with that though??

Except we won't have a veto on anything if we aren't actually part of the EU.

Nevermind its all been a bit of an adventure!!!

merrymouse · 27/06/2016 07:36

So now apparently it's all Cameron's fault that he hadn't decided what the Leave's campaign's aims and policies should be post Brexit.

"Julia Hartley-Brewer ‏@JuliaHB1
The job of planning for Brexit should have been on the Prime Minister's "to do" list long before 23 June. That's what responsible govts do."

smallfox1980 · 27/06/2016 08:14

Merrymouse, we will also be required to contribute to the EU. And if we want controls on movement the EU will have them with us..

Is this what you thought you'd get leavers?

ohdogoaway · 27/06/2016 08:32

Show just found this and haven't had time yet to RTFT but I will - it makes me believe that we are in a pre- Thursday world where the sun still shines and what you say is utterly insane and could never actually happen Confused

MissHooliesCardigan · 27/06/2016 08:38

Lol at the Thing Called Boris. I am totally adopting that.
