We are up to 1000 posts on the other thread, so thought I'd start a new one. And also because as of today my feedback rating is 1000 & I now have a red star

Please keep posting, I love this thread; it's so friendly and interesting!

Yippee, thankyou, will look forward to them arriving, need to stop spending now! :o

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 17:10

Carrots and byeckers - I just caught the postman and your parcels are in his capable (hopefully) hands!

I've got a few more items ending tonight and a couple finishing tomorrow. Everything's got watchers so fingers crossed they'll all sell - possibly to mners Grin!

HalleLouja · 26/10/2011 17:52

Mogs can you put up a link and I will have a nose and see if I can add to your list!

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 19:08

Certainly, Halle...here they are.

Carrotsandcelery · 26/10/2011 19:11

I haven't told ds yet - he will be excited to have a parcel to open. Thanks mogs.

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 19:15

Carrots - I have very carefully taped 2 posting bags around it so if you open it with a bit of care you'll be able to re-use them Grin. Also, I've just remembered that I was going to offer you the matching rug - doh! I'm not sure what the postage would be though...I can weigh it if you're interested.

Carrotsandcelery · 26/10/2011 19:21

mogs thank you for the offer but ds doesn't do rugs Grin He has a habit of inflicting horrible injuries on himself by not paying attention and going flying. We have a beautiful one from our lounge stored in the loft for this very reason Shock

I bid on your advent calendar (Playmobil Jareth) but have been outbid Sad

I also need to stop buying and to sell some more instead.

Thank you for the ebay conscious packaging. That will save me a few bags Grin

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 19:28

The advent calendar is at a really good price at the moment. The one we've been using for the last couple of years got damaged by the leaking boiler and I've now realised that the newer ones aren't as re-usable as the older version which is why the police one is on ebay and I am looking for a replacement but I'm too tight to buy one full price Blush.

No worries about the rug, I might just take it to the charity shop. Not sure if anyone will buy it as the postage is probably going to be quite a bit.

Carrotsandcelery · 26/10/2011 19:35

We had the reusable one too and it remained pristine until ds got old enough to interfere and ripped the boxes. I have to admit I do like the new ones as I am a total sucker for Playmobil.

HalleLouja · 27/10/2011 08:14

I found a part used bottle of Gloria perfume by cacherel. I joked to dh it could be worth some money. Have had a look and its been discontinued and could make £20 or even more. Will be adding that then. I have some other perfumes I like so won't miss it.

Lava lamp already has a bid and 7 watchers and it's early days. Fingers crossed I get a good price.

Carrotsandcelery · 27/10/2011 10:03

Mogs my parcel has arrived already Shock Thank you so much - we love them. I couldn't wait until ds came home from school so I had to open it (very carefully so as not to waste the bags). I have preserved the bubble wrap too for future packaging Grin

mogs0 · 27/10/2011 15:01

Wow, carrots, that was very fast! Shame on you for not waiting for ds to come home from school Grin. I hope you've wrapped it back up again for himGrin.

I've just taken 3 huge bags of parcels to the post office and hope they get delivered as quickly as yesterday's lot.

I've got a few things ending tonight and am going to have a couple of days off. I have totally overloaded myself this half term and am ready for a breakdown so I'm not making any more plans to do anything or go anywhere (after the 3 more arrangements that are already in the diary Hmm).

Tortoise · 28/10/2011 07:50

Just had an email from ebay. Free listing again this weekend. I must take advantage of it!

HalleLouja · 28/10/2011 11:06

I now have a box of stuff to add to ebay.

notcitrus · 28/10/2011 11:10

Oh fantastic - I was hoping for a free listing as have a fish tank and other things to list. Better take photos today.

Tortoise · 28/10/2011 20:45

DP has listed some bke

Tortoise · 28/10/2011 20:47

Oops hit post too early again! DP has listed some bike parts on my account which I will edit to start tomorrow.
Hope to get some of my items listed too!

ImDreamingOfACheapXmas · 28/10/2011 21:11

31 items ended today, hopefully make about £60-assuming postage doesn't cost more than quoted. More to list this weekend I think

HalleLouja · 29/10/2011 11:35

My perfume is at £16 already and the lava lamp is doing well too. Fingers crossed.

DumbledoresGore · 29/10/2011 12:30

How is everyone getting on with their free listings this weekend? Just my luck, I have my monthly awful headache this weekend and really don't want to be stuck in front of the computer screen, but the opportunity to list bigger stuff is too tempting.

I'm not doing too well though. Of the stuff I listed for 99p last week, I have loads of watchers, but only one bid so far!

ClaimedByMe · 29/10/2011 12:50

The bding has started on my stuff due to finish tomorrow, have a couple of things to list this weekend too!

Tortoise · 29/10/2011 16:08

I'm hoping to schedule lots tonight to start them tomorrow.
I've got a snowsuit to list and Disney Cars curtains plus loads of other stuff!

mogs0 · 29/10/2011 18:42

I am going to try and list a few things this weekend. I fancied a break from it all but free listing is too good an opportunity to miss Grin.

I've got another missing item so will have to find the p.o.p. to make a claim.

Tortoise · 29/10/2011 22:43

So far 29 items scheduled for tomorrow night! Raiding the cupboard tomorrow to.get more stuff out! Aiming to do at least another 20 items.
Plus all my listings end tomorrow! Few have bids and at least 1 watchers on over half.

DumbledoresGore · 30/10/2011 14:45

OMG, I have just sold a plastic dinosaur, about 15cm tall for £6.67! And the buyer has to pay another £2.50 p&p, so they are paying over £9 for something that probably retails for half that price. I am nearly in tears, I am so worried they thought they were bidding for something other than it is. In fact, I was a bit suspicious all along as it had about 8 watchers for the last few days whereas other dinosaurs I have been selling have only had 1 or 2 watchers. Indeed, only one other has had any bids. Help! What's going on?
