Please keep posting, I love this thread; it's so friendly and interesting!

Tortoise · 06/11/2011 21:07

£2.39 for Spyro! Probably due to crap picture which i hadn't noticed before tonight!

Carrotsandcelery · 06/11/2011 21:13

Gah! la la la la la la la la la!

Carrotsandcelery · 06/11/2011 21:19

£9.58 for me tonight! It's still £9.58 I wouldn't have had and all items that had been relisted, some a few times though so it is still a Grin

mogs0 · 06/11/2011 21:30

None of my items are ending tonight but I have spent a bloomin fortune on buying Christmas playmobil BlushGrin. I have finally got a sleigh and reindeer after being outbid on at least 10 in the last couple of weeks...and it was cheaper than I have bid previously...and it came with lots of other bids that I will re-list as I didn't need them...

Carrotsandcelery · 06/11/2011 21:53

What pm advent calendar did you have to throw out Mogs? The one you listed?

Playmobil is totally addictive - you have to be very, very careful. It is too easy to click, click, click away...

Tortoise · 06/11/2011 22:16

Total for tonight minus fees £126.40!
£66 plus postage spent on playmobil house won yesterday! Oops!

I'm trying to get Christmas playmobil items too. I especially want the light up Christmas tree!

mogs0 · 06/11/2011 22:26

Carrots - my boiler leaked onto my Christmas decorations and my ds' 2 year old pm calendar was at the top of the pile. It was all mouldy and water-damaged Sad. The one I listed was the newer version which I wasn't as keen on as it wasn't as re-usable as the older ones. I'm watching loads at the moment but they go for so much money.

Tortoise - great total! Which PM house have you got? I seem to have a selection of Christmas trees at the moment. I'll be sorting out all the PM to be listed this week if you're interested?

Carrotsandcelery · 06/11/2011 22:39

Awww Mogs Sad

Millie1 · 06/11/2011 22:48

Grrr .... bad night! Only sold 3 of 11 items. I really must be listing the wrong type of stuff!!

On a positive note, the cake tin that a potential buyer asked me to put a BIN on .... well, I said £15 and asked her to let me know if she wanted it on at that price. Didn't hear a peep and it sold for £29!!!!!!!!! eBay is crazy sometimes! Have cleared the £300 Mark and after much procrastinating I'll have on last stab at the buggy on the next free-listing weekend and put it on for UK courier delivery.

Tortoise · 06/11/2011 22:59

Mogs It's the suburban house. Interested in any playmobil bits you have Smile.
Mainly DS2 to sort, he is the most difficult! Keeps asking for £80 scooter!

Tortoise · 06/11/2011 23:05

this one

Carrotsandcelery · 06/11/2011 23:13

The pm house looks great fun. Dd has the old version of the mansion. She has asked for more floors for it this year and staircases for Christmas so it is still a winner at nearly 11 years old

Millie sounds like a great night with £29 on one item Shock That is fantastic!

I just keep relisting and the stuff seems to go eventually.

Tortoise · 06/11/2011 23:25

Carrots I've just been trying to find extensions for the house but not having much luck.

toobreathless · 07/11/2011 01:08

A good night here, I sold my Frugi breastfeeding top for £12.91, even with three small holes in it (clearly stated in listing & photographed.)

Just gearing up to list ten or so children's XBox games. My paypal balance had hit £130 :) but went a little happyland mad in the ELC 20% off sale today & spent £60. I am trying to resist the temptation to start looking at happyland stuff on eBay!

Carrots: roughly where in the UK are you? I have some stuff i'd be happy to donate for your charity, obviously this only really works if I could drop it off to you.

Carrotsandcelery · 07/11/2011 12:33

Tortoise I got them from the Playmobil website this page

Is the house you have bought there?

Carrotsandcelery · 07/11/2011 12:35

toobreathless I am in Scotland. I doubt very much I would be close by but you never know. It's a very kind offer Smile If not I am sure there will be a charity local to you that would be very grateful.

Tortoise · 07/11/2011 13:13

Carrots Thanks can't see it there. Think its been discontinued.

Carrotsandcelery · 07/11/2011 17:42

Oh no! But surely it will pop up on ebay Grin Do you need it by Christmas or can you watch and wait?

Tortoise · 07/11/2011 21:13

I hope so. No, not needed by Christmas. Something I can add to over time I think.

Carrotsandcelery · 08/11/2011 10:18

All 3 items sold have been paid for and are now posted. I think that is a record. I usually have one thing hanging around waiting for payment. Yay!

Only one watcher on my new list though.

notcitrus · 08/11/2011 10:19

Lots of unsold stuff yesterday - looks like model-making is out of fashion or all the middle-aged men dreaming of their Airfix-obsessed youth already have bought all the ones they want. Ditto some out-of-print books that would have made at least £10 each a couple years back, and stamps with no interest at all. Two items went though.

Phone bloke has agreed to removal of neg though, so at least I'll get my 250 new coloured star. On £200ish here - fish tank with 34 watchers ends tonight. I predict 2 bids, one at the start price only, so that will be about £51 I hope. I haven't seen a bidding war for months.

My parents have just delivered some boxes of children's books I haven't seen since I was 9 and we moved abroad! However despite some being immaculate first editions of Enid Blyton (no dj though) none seem to be worth more than 99p so I think the charity shop will get them...

Carrotsandcelery · 08/11/2011 10:52

nocitrus I have boxes and boxes of books. I have listed a few but just keep relisting and relisting - no one seems to buy. I was told on this thread that if you can make up bundles they sometimes sell better eg bundles of Malory Towers etc . Our pta are having a book sale soon so I might give mine to that. You could also contact local second hand book shops, if you have any, and see if they are interested. Sometimes it is good to give to charity. I am doing less of it now I ebay so feel I should do something for them still.

toobreathless · 08/11/2011 11:10

Not citrus: very, very interested in your Enid Blyton, do you have a link to your listings?

Carrots: you are about as far away from me as you could get :) I am in Hampshire. Oh well.
