Please tell me your iui stories and journeys? Currently in 2ww.

I've just realised that emoji was probably really insensitive. It was definitely in the spirit of if you didn't laugh you'd cry. Apologies if I've upset anyone with it x

We're doing good @GrettaGreen green thanks for asking. We're 9 days post IUI. Glad to be getting closer to finding out whether this one has worked (not holding much hope) or whether we're going to IVF next.

Fingers crossed things can still go ahead this cycle @Ttc2017

Thank you has any one ever had there dose of injections lowered did itmake follicles stop growing or disappear? I just want less but still want 1 or 2 to keep growing I'm worried there will be noneleft

@Ttc2017 I had my injections lowered from 75 to 37.5 after about 5 or 6 days as I had too many large follicles... And it worked. By the the time I was ready for IUI, I had 1 large follicle and 1 slightly smaller x

Ah thank you oddat did the 2 big ones still grow at 1/2mm per day or what ever they are meant to? Can u remember what size they were when you lowered it x

@Ttc2017 I can't remember tbh. They thought that I would have to cancel that round but then they said I could continue. Our next round is starting beginning of March.... Just want it to start now so I feel like something is happening instead of waiting around

Ah odaat I hope time goes quickly for you . I'm nervous got follicle reduction and iui on Mon feel sick now nerves and excitement kicking in. X

@Ttc2017 that's so exciting for you. I'm not sure what a follicle reduction involves? I shall keep my fingers crossed for you.

You get drugged up sort of put to sleep and a needle in to get rid of or pop the follicles so there's not to many

Has anyone had bleeding after iui? I'm worried this means it won't work or something went wrong

@Ttc2017 I had bleeding about 2 or 3 days after iui... Very light. What day are you on post iui?

I think it's really common. Did you have the follicle reduction?

@Ttc2017 I've always been told by the nurses that some bleeding after the IUI is perfectly normal so don't worry about it.

@Ttc2017 This is totally normal. I think my wife had it after every IUI but I never experienced it.

@Ttc2017 I wonder if that's even more of a reason to bleed after? How are you feeling today? I'm hoping to start round 2 beginning of March... Feeling pretty fed up

@ODAAT260718 The day you give up is the day the stick turns positive.

I'm ok today thanks that's so true heard from lots of people soon as they gave up they ended up conceiving that month. Hoping time goes by fast for you and March is your month! X

I hope you're right @LifeIsBusy as have my beta tomorrow and I've all but given up hope. This was my 3rd IUI, been testing out the trigger and nothing on the stick last few days so convinced this has been another failure. Really didn't want to have to go to IVF but short of a shocker of a result tomorrow that's where we'll be heading in the next couple of months. I'll need to start digging the car out of the snow soon if I hope to get to the clinic tomorrow morning, crazy amount of snow here in Glasgow!

@ally99101 We've got a crazy amount of snow here too and its still snowing but I'm just down the road from you outside Edinburgh. The fertility gig is a rough one but we all get there in the end. I have friends who tried both IVF and IUI and it was IUI that eventually worked for them. You just never know! At least being under the care of a fertility center gives you some additional hope rather than TTC at home in a heterosexual couple.

Absolutely. I know we'll get there eventually, I guess I just had a wee bit more hope that this one might just be the one so pretty disappointing this morning to see still nothing. So we'll see what tomorrow brings and then give IVF a good old try

@ally99101 I shall have everything crossed for you. If this month hasn't worked, would you not want to try iui again?
