If you can get more than one donation you should be trying when you get your flashing smiley face as this indicates your estrogen surge that happens ahead of your LH surge. The number of flashing days you have can vary each month though @ohsotrying

oh @Waiting2BAMummy lets hope its better for both of us next month! seems ive found a good donor said hed be avaialble with 24-48hrs notice which is good but i have to travel to him and its very far!
Took ovulation test today and flashing but think i should get to know donor a bit better first!

I am (doing AI I mean) @ohsotrying not really sure what I'm going to do now as my donor is moving up north at the end of february and had said that last month that he would help but I'm hoping he'll do one more.

Glad you found yourself a new donor - you could get to know him more or you could save yourself the stress of the first meet for the next month and just go for it!

I think my donor has blocked me! I messaged him to ask if he would be prepared to help one last time before he moves and I'm not getting my usual delivery report. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as he's done what he agreed to but now I'm not sure what my next step is as I had hoped he would gift it one last shot - oh well.

@Waiting2BAMummy ahh that sounds tough, are you using something like whatsapp? thats what happened with me suddenly stopped getting two ticks never heard anything. yea might just give it a shot this month

no it's imessage @ohsotrying just not getting the delivered message I guess his phone could be off but I'm more inclined to think that he has done what he agreed and he therefore no longer wants me to be able to contact him which is fine. As I said he moves at the end of the month so this would have been his last month helping anyway.

I take it all back clearly just in a bad headspace with yet another failed month but he got the message and has agreed to help this month yay! First donation will be Wednesday/Thursday next week

Although I didn't get pregnant last month the soy iso's definitely made a difference as I had the longest cycle I've had in months (in a good way the month before was 20 days!) and my LP was 14 days.

I'll definitely be taking them again this month.

I'm doing good thanks @Waiting2BAMummy I had my dating scan today, so it was lovely to see baby again! It's certainly very active and crazy to think I can't feel or see anything yet!

I don't know much about soy isos, but if you think they are making a positive difference then it has to be a good thing!! 🤞🏼

Half way through my TWW. I ovulated either last Saturday or Sunday depending on how quickly after my positive OPK it happened.

I'm managing not to think about it too much when I'm doing things like work but obviously I'm symptom spotting. I have IBS though so random twinging is a regular occurrence anyway!

Just had a shower and promised myself I wouldn't check my cervix and couldn't remember what I wanted as an early pregnancy sign but it was high and soft and I have white milky discharge. Just googled and they are all early pregnancy signs. I know it doesn't mean anything yet and even if I've conceived there are a million miles to go but can I get a little hopeful.

Even a chemical pregnancy would reassure me that I'm fertile.

I expect AF in about 9 days, 28 day cycle. I've been testing this whole month and have just got a flashing smiley can that be right? So close to AF?

Probably 10DPO on Wednesday. Not planning to test tomorrow. Did a couple of early tests and BFNs. Got some cheap tests on order so will start using those when they arrive.

I'm ok. I just want to know now. Not looking forward to sorting out the logistics of meeting the donor again.

Are your cycles always 28 days @ohsotrying? It could be that you’ll have a longer cycle this month or you have a short luteal phase.

10dpo is really early to get a BFP @bitheby, especially on a cheap test. Fingers crossed for you that you won’t need to arrange to see your donor again.

BFN on a FRER this morning. Feels like it’s coming sadly. I had high hopes early on but have since got very down about my age.

It can take time no matter your age @bitheby in a couple of years younger than you and this month it’s been 16 months since I started trying and have actively tried for 13 of those months so I wouldn’t get yourself stressed out just yet.

Next month could be perfect timing - you had fertility tests before didn’t you?

Plenty of women get pregnant at your age and older so I don’t think you need to panic because it didn’t work on your second try though I do fully understand the feeling of your biological clock running out of batteries!
