So it appears I posted the 1,000 message on our previous thread and now it's closed so I've opened us a new home!

No apology needed @Pinkfamily vent away. Holding it in helps nothing and stress isn’t going to help you get your little bundle of joy x

My first donor I met in a hotel and this one visits me at home but I met him for a coffee before the first attempt @CleverQuacks.

If you are going to have them in your home is there anyone who knows what you’re doing that could be in the house when they visit?

OP posts:
CleverQuacks · 19/11/2019 20:39

Yes I am thinking a hotel for the first visit. Just have to work out when ovulation falls as I have never tracked my periods and ovulation before. I am using December as a practice month. I doubt I will fall pregnant but then hopefully by January I will understand my cycle more.

Busybee143 · 20/11/2019 20:15

Hello, also ttc using a donor, wondering if I can join the chat?

Waiting2BAMummy · 20/11/2019 20:35

Of course @Busybee143

I've been lurking for a while, following all of your journeys.
Last month I finally got my first static smiley. Thank you for your clear blue suggestion by the way, the internet cheapies were bloody soul destroying. I actually thought I wasn't ovulating. Tonight I got this month's static!
At the minute I am just tracking, seeing if things are regular. So far I have got my positives on CD 15 and 17.
I just want to say it's so reassuring knowing that I'm not alone in this whole process, you ladies are a fountain of knowledge.
Good luck to everyone!

Waiting2BAMummy · 21/11/2019 14:14

Good luck @KLO0224 be prepared for your cycles to go crazy when you actually start trying. Good Luck.

The witch landed her broomstick today.... onto month 11....

Sorry to hear that @Waiting2BAMummy 😔

Pinkfamily · 21/11/2019 16:03

@Waiting2BAMummy I'm so sorry to hear that 😞
Hi to the newbies, the ladies on this forum have a lot of knowledge and are all very supportive ☺️

CleverQuacks · 21/11/2019 18:12

Sorry to hear that @Waiting2BAMummy hopefully next month will bring some Christmas magic.

I was in b and m today and wandered past the baby clothes. They had some really cute sleep suits. Didn’t buy anything though cos I feel that will jinx me!

Busybee143 · 21/11/2019 20:03

Awesome, just waiting for my next ovulation after a miscarriage then going to try again

CleverQuacks · 23/11/2019 17:31

Is it just me or is this month going really slowly??

Elvesdontdomagic · 23/11/2019 17:36

Hi can I join? I have 2 DD's by a donor already and ttc again with same donor. I'm 40 next week so worried I'm too old but hopefully not! DD's are 4 and 3yo. First try last month was unsuccessful despite perfect timing grr! Due to meet donor next week twice, ovulation due next Thursday or thereabouts. Good luck all :)

CleverQuacks · 23/11/2019 18:08

@Elvesdontdomagic welcome! I am new to the group to. Waiting til I overlate, should be mid December. Great to hear you have been successful with a donor previously. Do you mind me asking what method you chose? I am doing AI with a “fresh” donor.

LanieM87 · 23/11/2019 18:25

@CleverQuacks this last week and a half has been the longest ever waiting for either BFP or AF! 🙈

CleverQuacks · 23/11/2019 18:52

@LanieM87 I know! I am just waiting for my period so I can start tracking my cycles. I think it is due next weekend but it feels like forever!

Fingers crossed you get you bfp this month!

Elvesdontdomagic · 23/11/2019 18:59

@CleverQuacks I use AI. Will this be your first baby? it's crazy how long time feels when ttc! Good luck @LanieM87

CleverQuacks · 23/11/2019 19:31

@Elvesdontdomagic I have three children already, they were conceived through AI but with my husband. I am now single and starting to try for my fourth (and final) baby. I think I have found my sperm donor so now just have to wait for my next fertile time.

Elvesdontdomagic · 23/11/2019 19:34

@CleverQuacks this will also be my 4th and final baby! I have one older DD who is a teenager conceived with my ex partner so 3 girls. This is definitely going to be my last.

Waiting2BAMummy · 23/11/2019 19:37

the first half my cycle isn't usually too bad but the TWW goes on FOOOORRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
You've had to wait an entire month to even get started so it's going to feel long.

Welcome to our crazy gang @Elvesdontdomagic it's nice to hear that you already have two children via this method - restores the faith that this really does work.

How are you doing @Pinkfamily @LanieM87?

I'm on CD 3 today so will contact my donor next week to arrange for him to start visiting from CD12.

I have just been to tesco and bought some COQ10, omega 3 fish oil and a feroglobin fizz which contains iron, vit c, b6, folic acid, b12, zinc and copper as I read these are all good for fertility.

I've also been reading lots of posts about the use of progesterone cream. After 10 months of trying I'm wondering if I have low progesterone levels so am seriously considering trying this, this month. My current donor said he would help for six months and december is the sixth month so really trying to pull out all the stops.

LanieM87 · 23/11/2019 21:00

I'm not too bad thanks @Waiting2BAMummy I'm 10DPO today, AF due Monday or Tuesday, I got a bit ahead of myself and did a FRER this morning -BFN which I guess isn't a surprise as it's still early. I don't have any symptoms, even AF symptoms have been low on the ground as well this month. Good luck for this next cycle!

Welcome to the new folks! Hope you find the thread useful!

Waiting2BAMummy · 23/11/2019 21:18

@LanieM87 I've read lots of posts from women saying the month they got their BFP they had far less symptoms than previous months.

Fingers crossed this is the case for you.

OP posts:
LanieM87 · 23/11/2019 21:32

Well I guess I don't have long to find out either way! @Waiting2BAMummy the past few months I've had really sore breasts and other AF symptoms a good week before it arrived. So either I'm having an off month, or hopefully BFP or I ovulated a couple days later!

Pinkfamily · 23/11/2019 21:37

Hey ladies (and more newbies yay- join the mad house)
@Waiting2BAMummy the feroglobin fizz things sound good, I suffer with low iron so would always on the look out for new things! Sounds like you are hitting it from all angles this month, that's fab ☺️
I did a FRER this morning but was BFN due on tomorrow and can definitely feel 'the beginnings' of it anyway.

Waiting2BAMummy · 23/11/2019 22:05

I got my positive opk on the wednesday but don't think I ovulated until saturday @LanieM87 as I was still getting EWCM and based on that date my LP was 11 days as previous month so it does fit for me.

It's so frustrating that you don't even ovulate the same amount of time after positive opk each month.

Considering procreation is supposed to be the most natural thing in the world our bodies definitely don't make this easy for us!!
