Button I'm gutted for you is there any way at all you can get them to change? I know nothing about ivf sorry so no knowledge on procedures with that.

Yeh had beta this morning was meant to get results this afternoon my heart went when they said sorry to tell you..... But went on to say problem with lab will get results tomorrow so relieved it wasn't bad news but it could be tomorrow have to wait and see x

ButtonMooooon · 18/06/2018 18:42

I honestly don't know why we've been put on hold for this cycle. They brought me in early today to see if I had caught up with the donor so surely if I was early there's still time for me to catch up for this cycle. We were already resigned to frozen anyway Sad

@SallyA1 I had three attempts. The first was unsuccessful. My clinic cancelled the second as per their policy as I had three good sized follicles. They said the risk of multiples was too high. Then was successful on the third. My parents live about 60 miles away so unfortunately can't help with childcare.

Ttc2017 · 19/06/2018 15:36

Beta only 49 :( back tomorrow to see if it doubled but not feeling too good as test today was very faint as well x

closephine85 · 19/06/2018 16:49

Button, really sorry to hear your side of things have been cancelled. Totally frustrating but I guess your clinic must have good reason. When will they be able to give you some answers?

Ttc - how many DPO are you? Fingers crossed it’s just implanted late but can understand your worry if your line is getting fainter. Hope tomorrow brings some good news for you.

Bear1980 · 19/06/2018 17:18

ttc hope tomorrow shows a doubling, it's so difficult with just a single number to know if it's good or bad because everyone is so different.

ButtonMooooon · 19/06/2018 19:12

Our follow up with the Consultant isn't until 6th July as this was the next available appointment!! DH is there tomorrow for his "contribution" so to speak so he's going to try and speak to someone. I have come off the Progynova now so too late for this cycle. Just finally felt like we were getting somewhere Sad

Fingers crossed for you TTC

Sorry Button, how frustrating for you.

Fingers crossed for a good result tomorrow TTC, I believe 49 is within the normal range for 14 dpo so hopefully you will get good news.

pickle162 · 20/06/2018 04:04

Fingers crossed those values will double when you next test but as Tiny said 49 is within Norma range . Best of luck xx

Any news TTC?

So I have decided to stop being negative about the cancelled cycle as it can't be changed now and focus on the positives!! DH has done his bit today Wink and Donor is due this afternoon so will get a call from embryologist later to advise how many eggs they retrieved.

Again staying positive whatever the numbers, we only need one Smile

Ah I need to take a leaf out your book good on You! Your next cycle will be your bean I'm sure! Yeh only takes one so chances are good!

Had my bloods will find out results later today x

ButtonMooooon · 20/06/2018 15:20

9 eggs!!! Which is 9 more than they got from me Grin

Looking at the quality they expect about 70% to fertilise overnight but obviously we need to wait and see and keep everything crossed!!!

Good luck for your results ttc xx

It's crazy to imagine it isn't it button but it is exciting for you!

Thanks Smith how is everything with you? X

Smithguy86 · 20/06/2018 22:35

I'm good ttc I'm 22 weeks now, we had to go for our 20 week scan again today as our little girl wouldn't turn round the first time. After 2 scan attempts today they finally got all the views they need! Everything is great with both of them, measuring at 1lb 3oz and 1lb 2oz so getting big!

Ttc2017 · 21/06/2018 06:48

Ahh that's so exciting I'm glad everything is going well bet you can't wait to meet your little boy and girl now! X

Ttc2017 · 21/06/2018 07:49

Can't believe it missed my progesterone last night took it now this morning really hope I Havent messed things up x

RedPandaFluff · 21/06/2018 09:46

Hi everyone - I feel awful. Truly awful. It's been over a week since we confirmed a failed cycle and I stopped taking the progesterone, and I feel tearful, devastated, depressed, anxious . . . is this just the progesterone leaving my system? Will I feel better soon? Sad

Ttc2017 · 21/06/2018 10:09

Aw redpanda I'm so sorry to hear you feeling like that I was exactly the same last month devastated and an emotional wreck I thought it was the progesterone I'm sure it's a mix of everything to be honest but after a week or so I did feel a bit more stable nothing can take away the disappointment and upset but I think once the progesterone wears off it eases the extreme levels of it xx

RedPandaFluff · 21/06/2018 11:58

Thank you TTC - I'll put it down to hormones then; maybe my HRT hasn't kicked in yet.

I hate this Sad
