Had my scan at clinic today (day 61). Three small cysts one of which is possibly a follicle. Had a blood test done and dependent on results likely to have either tablets or injection delivered to me at home to try and break them up to start bleeding again. She couldn't see any other reason for AF not coming. She said they weren't big but one was 4cm so it sounds it to me!!

@Laura207 yes kaz right you need one per cycle ( though some clinics do charge to put second one in so many hours later- I'm a bit hazy on details of it now but my clinic in Liverpool will only use one vial)

Hope af comes soon @ButtonMooooon I'm on cycle day 33 and impatiently waiting now for af to start to confirm I will go ahead this month. Today is 10 days of luteal phase so I'm feeling positive About that :)

130 mile round on one of our precious days off with DS and I bloody well start the next day!!! And now DH said we should wait to start meds to check with clinic if can go ahead this cycle with cysts!!

Waiting for clinic to ring me back when they have spoken to a doctor regarding the cysts. They should have all gone naturally with AF apparently but there's no way of knowing without a scan. Will either get call to start Progynova today (bearing in mind we wouldn't have known about them if I had started 24 hours earlier) or go for a further scan which I can't do today as we're away so may have to go Tuesday

Finally spoken to clinic after being without signal most of the day. We've decided to convert to down regulated cycle so will be injecting Suprecur from day 21. This will reduce the risk of the cysts growing although it won't be zero it's a better chance than just proceeding with Progynova and likely to result in a cancelled cycle if the cysts grow

How are you getting on with 2ww GingerSnapp? Fingers crossed for you and DW!

Hi Sally, thanks for asking! The tww is a killer. Madly symptom spotting even though pretty pointless. Will definitely struggle if another bfn this time. But I guess it just gets increasingly harder the more tries you have at this.

I’m sorry you aren’t getting support from your sister. Even worse that you are getting judged as well! We have only told a select few people as I fear people’s reactions. Even the good reactors who might go on to say the wrong thing! But I think i might cave soon as i can’t keep the secrets anymore. Do you have others you can talk to?

OTD is Friday! Which will be 16 days from egg collection and 11 days after transfer. DW has had all the usual progesterone associated side affects. So can’t diagnose much from the mood swings/headaches/bloating etc as they might just be cause of pessaries. She had some light light spotting today which is cause for concern. AF or implantation? Im thinking its a bit late for implantation? But can’t let go of the hope just yet.

sally, its good you have some emotional support, even if it is from abroad. I would consider telling my parents, but I wouldnt want it sharing further than that. Its hard enough feeling disappointed ourselves, as well as having to then share that with others.

Doing quite well weight loss wise but it's only been 1 week, not sure the new series if bake off is going to help my efforts!! I feel quite chilled other than that, after the uncertainty of iui with irregular periods it's quite nice to know the date I'll start down-regulating and the week of egg retrieval...! I had a sperm donor for my 3 medicated iui's, what are people's opinions on sticking with the same donor (bit cheaper as I won't have to pay for the pregnancy slot or whatever it's called) or going for someone new?

Meant to say I had the same donor for each of my 3 iui's...

Thanks lovely. Only 1 more day to wait now. Thank god. We stuck with same donor from failed iuis, which have gone on to produce good embryos/blastocysts so we know that the sperm isnt an issue now so we will try to continue with the same. We spent a long time considering them so weirdly i guess we feel quite attached now.

Will let you know how test goes tomorrow!!
