Hi mojitos so sorry to hear about your three unsuccessful iuis. Fingers crossed for ivf. I'm borderline bmi 35 and find it hard to lose weight too. I wonder why it makes a difference for ivf but not iui?
If you have read past threads you will see some of the women have had longer journeys than others - I think for me kwick was someone I was so please for when I heard she was pregnant - but as long as you are mentally prepared and want to try what's possible we are all here for support :)
Congratulations kaz. How far along are you now?
Good luck for Wednesday button I've got my fingers crossed for you
@GingerSnapp
How lovely to get daily updates on them - good luck
@Laura207 You can get sperm from London sperm bank and get transferred to any hepa registered fertility clinic if that helps ( that's what I'm doing) so I'm assuming you might be able to do this with possibly the European sperm bank or American one? London sperm bank costs £950 a vial and it's a couple of hundred to transfer so you know. Good luck it's a bit to come to terms with. When do you find out if still possible with husband?
@Geluksvogel Well done on 9 eggs - any update yet. I found old threads really helped me when I started getting this journey first time. Glad I may have helped you xxxx
I had counselling session today which went fine as we both acknowledged a bit different as I've already had son by donor sperm. It was still good going through reasoning again and interesting to hear recent research suggests donor children are more interesting in meeting up with other half siblings who are donor children rather had the donor's children he has had himself. Before I got pregnant I thought About other families using the same donor but more from angle of uk limit ten families to limit likelihood of meeting and falling in love. Now I know sperm only for sibling. Reservation I know My son already has 9 half siblings which seems a bit crazy when I really think about it. Positive but crazy that he has large family tree already.
So period due this week and I can confirm to go ahead when i next ovulate. Only thing that makes me nervous is luteal phase has been 9/10 days and would like it to be a bit longer. I've stopped feeding through night in the last fortnight so I'll see if that makes a difference...
Gosh I can't stop going on the threads asking for squinty eyes to look at potential bfp
