I'm hopefully transferring on 16 or 17th. Depending on scan results. What's involved in a natural cycle? Hope things go well.

Nothing from what I can tell just bloods from about day 10 to find out when I ovulate then transfer 5 or 6 days later. Ovitrelle shot on day of transfer for luteal phase support. It's very much like IUI but putting back an embryo

We did a natural FET in September which ended in a chemical. Definitely preferred it to stimulated cycles, felt so easy in comparison (physically not mentally I mean).

Had my scan today. Still in limbo land. 2 follicles are around 16mm but another 3 at 12-14 so have to go back Monday for another scan. They’ve dropped my dose so now I just have to hope that the other 3 decide not to play catch up.

Sat in clinic and seriously think my head may explode. The Consultant we have seen can't answer any questions about why last cycle was cancelled as he didn't make the clinical decision.

The new plan has already been decided so no input was needed from us anyway

Then he announces we'll have to come back another day to sign consent forms. I say we've already signed them. Oh but you've only consented for a fresh transfer, not frozen. Why the hell didn't they just consent for both??? We've basically demanded he find a nurse to do them now, bearing in mind it's 130 round trip and we both need to sign them!!!!

I am bloody fuming, why does nothing ever go right for us????

Had my 6 week scan today saw my little bean and a heartbeat! Was so amazing x

Goodness gracious Button , they sound like a nightmare!!! Couldn't you just sign the consent on the morning before the transfer?

So many things happened today...in the morning I went for the second scan to measure follies. I've been on stims since last Friday. The results seem good, both follies (there are more on one side than on the other) and lining. I communicated the results to my clinic in Denmark and then they got back to me saying that I should administer the trigger injection on Saturday and then come on Monday for aspiration. So then I frantically checked for flights and hotels (I don't want to fly back between aspiration and transfer).
I'm very confused by my feelings of surprise or fear (I don't really know which is it), I've been waiting for months if not years to get to this stage. I guess in my head I thought that I will be called in in the middle of the week or what.
Gotta breathe now.

Consent forms signed so in theory DH doesn't need to come again except for transfer.

We saw the Nurse we've seen loads and is bloody lovely (she stayed late to do the consent forms). She wasn't around when we got cancelled so couldn't understand it either. They both offered to speak the Consultant who made the decision. But I said I don't want to know now. I have a feeling they're going to ring and say yep you know what we f'd up. That's not going to make me feel any better. It's done now, we need to move on

The Nurse said she was going to ask her anyway as she wanted to know herself and so I could ring at any time to find out. I have a feeling she will ring anyway if there is a genuine reason

Period is due a week tomorrow (irregular cycle) and I can start taking Progynova on day 1, transfer will be approximately 3 weeks later

Paisley it is such a roller coaster. I just said to DH I feel drained and all we did was sign some paperwork!!!!! DS is 7 and we've been TTC number 2 for 6 years in September so I know exactly how you feel. You wait so long for something then when it actually starts happening you can process it!!

@ButtonMooooon that sounds like a total nightmare! I really don't know why people can't get their ducks in a row BEFORE they ask you to come in for such a long journey.

I have scan Tuesday to check lining but flipped out today when I saw a tiny (microscopic) bit of pink blood on the tissue. As you can imagine all past experience came rushing back! Emailed the clinic who got back to me straight away and said not to worry it can be totally normal. Luckily there's been absolutely nothing since. Fingers crossed it stays that way! 🤞🏻🧚‍♀️

Been a bit quiet as still struggling post miscarriage. Scan 2 days ago showed 3 follicles 11-13mm, scan this morning showed all 3 at 15mm. I've been warned there is an increased risk of twins this cycle but clinic are happy to go ahead. I had EWCM this morning so concerned I'll ovulate too early. Going back for another scan on Monday.

Thanks @TinyPaws. I can't totally understand as my loss was very early on but I do sympathise. I needed to get away from all things baby when it happened to me. Glad to see you are back too and good luck this time. For me I think it was made worse by the fact that we all know very early on. Best of luck and fingers crossed for you. Also absolutely no sign of any more spotting for me today just feeling crampy still.

Tiny, I have been having EWCM too for a good few days and it’s been worrying me as well! Maybe if we both have it then it’s ok?! Do you mind me asking how old you are? I’m 33 and my clinic said they won’t do it if there’s more than 2 follicles fingers crossed for both of us tomorrow.

Good luck for all doing cycles this month! I'm taking a break but will be back on it in September for first go at IVF.

closephine and ttc I had EWCM the wkend before my last scan - the scan showed I still had 3 intact follicles with no sign that ovulation had occurred. The clinic seemed to think it was a good sign that I was ready rather than I might have already ovulated!

Lost half a stone so far in my weight loss quest - not been too bad so far as too hot to eat masses!!

Egg collection day!

It's done. I gotta say that it was no fun, but still better than what I had in my mind. Sadly, there won't be an immediate transfer this cycle, since I produced more eggs that they collected and the gynecologist doing the collection decided that a frozen transfer would be better for my situation. I gotta say I was bummed, I was really hoping that I will be leaving Denmark with a tiny embryo in me. Now there is more waiting and another planning of meds and ultrasounds. I'm to take one cycle off, so the earlier I will do the transfer at the end of August.
As a whole the collection went ok, they managed to get 15 eggs, after the weekend they will inform me how many made it to the freezer.

Yay thats's good numbers paisley. I know it's frustrating to have to wait but better that than end up with OHSS. My last cycle I had a lot of follicles (only 5 eggs though) and I was extremely bloated and in a lot of pain when the hcg started rising in my body. It was awful, if I do another fresh cycle I am going to ask if I can freeze all. It must be more frustrating when you are travelling abroad for treatment though.

My scan today was OK, lining good and lead follicle almost 20mm so taking trigger shot tonight and IUI booked for Wednesday!

Just 2 follicles for me today so phew! They took bloods and my LH was starting to surge so I’m booked in for IUI tomorrow!

I’m all done - had iui at 1pm yesterday and ovulated at 6pm (I get pains so can pinpoint it pretty well). Hope that’s ok and the swimmers were still all in good nick! I hurt my head trying to google how long frozen sperm would last and the worst case scenario seemed to be 6 hours and best 72 hours. So here’s hoping they’ve managed to meet!! Timings are different to my last few as I’d felt ovulation occur a good 12 hours before the iui on each and had been worrying that it was done too late. Now we wait....!
