PaisleyBE Thanks! Have you injected before?

PaisleyBE · 30/06/2018 06:59

Tiny - no, it's my first medicated cycle ever! All my previous IUI attempts were natural (non-medicated).

TinyPaws · 30/06/2018 10:49

I found it quite nerve wracking doing the first injection! Used to them now though.

RedPandaFluff · 01/07/2018 16:22

Hi ladies . . . disappeared for a while; not feeling fabulous after the recent failed DE cycle.

I still feel like crap, three weeks on from the negative test. Can't seem to get out of a depression. Possibly because my HRT isn't working yet, I guess.

I want to do some tests to see if there's anything else wrong, apart from POF. Any ideas?

Good luck to those cycling . . . ButtonMoon when are you having your transfer?

ButtonMooooon · 01/07/2018 19:20

So sorry Red hope you start to feel better soon Thanks

We have an appt on Friday with the Consultant to decide what's the best way forward and I will be asking the question why the last cycle was cancelled even though they said they were scanning me early Confused

Ttc2017 · 01/07/2018 21:56

So sorry red can you talk to anyone at the clinic about how you are feeling? it really is one of the hardest most stressful emotional journeys ever but never feel like you are alone we are all here I have found this page one of my biggest supports x

RedPandaFluff · 01/07/2018 22:23

I hope you get some answers on Friday, Button.

Thank you TTC - my clinic is abroad so it's a bit minimal when it comes to contact and advice. Not ideal and I won't use them again, beyond the FET we've already paid for.

closephine85 · 01/07/2018 22:40

Red, it’s really difficult. I don’t think your clinic would recommend ERA testing at this stage but if you wanted to do it before your FET that’s your decision. This whole thing is a process of elimination! You do what’s best for you/think is going to help you. Have you looked into immune testing also?

I’m in a similar situation, 2 failed rounds (4 perfect blasts). We chose to go down the donor sperm route prior to ERA and are now on month 3 of iui. If this doesn’t work, then that now at least suggests an issue with me too (as previously unknown and as to whether it is just DH with the issue) and we will have ERA testing before moving back to IVF. sigh.

Ttc2017 · 03/07/2018 07:58

I've got my 6 week scan on Friday been really ill over weekend bad sickness sick all night Saturday think it was food poisening or a bug still feeling completely drained though and sick feeling again today worrying incase it affects baby feel so hot dizzy light headed which I no could be morning sickness but not sure it would just start that suddenly after being ill seems more likely that this is still the bug 👎x

TinyPaws · 03/07/2018 17:42

Sorry you're feeling crummy @Ttc, do you have a fever? Might be worth talking to your GP if you do? Morning sickness must be horrible in this heat. Good luck for your scan on Friday.

Appointment today went ok, lining ok and follicles progressing nicely although not as quickly as I'd have liked. I was hoping IUI would happen this Saturday as it's the only day my partner is available to attend the appointment, but this looks unlikely now.

How are your cycles going @closephine85 and @PaisleyBE?

pickle162 · 04/07/2018 02:30

@Ttc2017 my morning sickness started boom dead on 6weeks, I thought I had a bug as didn't put 2&2 together. Had such horrendous nausea and general bleugh until 8 weeks on the dot when the full on and very regular sickness came too. It's totally utterly vile but a sign of a healthy strong pregnancy.
Keep drinking lots of water, I found little sips didn't make me feel as sick as my normal glugging down and graze throughout the day even if don't want to eat anything.... I pretty much lived off of mini packs of haribo to start the day (healthy right 🙄-but helped give me a slight boost) and toast. By 8 weeks I was on the phone to drs in tears as felt so horrendous and was throwing up 8+ times an hour and was prescribed anti sickness tablets to help....in this weather keeping hydrated is the most important.... oh and the extreme excessive tiredness - totally normal! I have never felt so tired in all my life including when had about 2hours sleep in 72 odd hours after going in labour/having her, just feel like every ounce of you is struggling....again crappy but signs of good pregnancy
Your little bean is tucked up nicely so all protected so just look after you as best you can and hopefully Friday will confirm a lovely egg sack & heartbeat xx

closephine85 · 04/07/2018 10:15

Scan has not gone well Sad I have 4-5 small follicles (about 12mm) I’m day 10. Lining was 9mm. Having bloods to check to see if I’ve ovulated already... if I haven’t then I’ve potentially overatimulated anyway and will have another scan Friday to check. Shit.

PaisleyBE · 04/07/2018 11:29

So far so good, I think. I had a horrendous migraine-like headache on Saturday (I started with the first Gonal injection on Friday evening), so I believe there was a connection. Now it's better (knocking on wood), so hopefully it willl last. This morning I added Orgalutran injection, I was a bit worried about it, but it was a breeze. I did feel the area for a while after the injection, but nothing major.
I'm starting to feel my ovaries, I think it's a good sign. I have a second scan on Friday, so I'm curious to see how they are developing. On the second day scan I had 8 antral follies on one side and 20 antral follies on the other.

Closephine , that sucks!! Is there a possibility that they will still keep growing? Fingers crossed that the ovulation hasn't happened yet and that you will still be able to go ahead this cycle.

Tiny , hooray for good news. Bummer for the absence of your partner Sad

Red - Flowers I wish I had something useful and helpful to say, but I don't. So I'm just sending a virtual hug. Bear

TinyPaws · 04/07/2018 16:17

@pickle162 My morning sickness started suddenly on the evening of 9dpo... different for everyone I suppose! I felt awful when I was pregnant, light headed, sick, tired, needing daytime naps - I was surprised how bad it was!

@closephine Don't count yourself out yet! My last cycle was similar in that I had multiple follicles all 10-12mm but only 1 grew beyond 12mm.

@PaisleyBE Glad the headache has gone, hope your next scan goes well!

Ttc2017 · 04/07/2018 16:49

Morning sickness has do defo kicked In feeling sick all day long but hopefully that's good sign praying for good news at scan I had two follicles left after follicle reduction but one had already split at time of iui I was worried my follicles were too big though they seemed to let them get super size

Tiny good news! But sorry to hear your partner won't be there :(

Clpsephone did they say they might Catch up?

Pickle thank you think mine has very suddenly started how is mini pickle doing?

Red hope you are ok well as well as u can be

Sending u baby dust Paisley for this cycle x

pickle162 · 04/07/2018 17:24

Mini pickle is lovely thank you 😘 we went swimming for the first time yesterday was so lovely.

Good luck everyone xx

closephine85 · 04/07/2018 19:53

Thanks all, bloods came back fine so I haven’t ovulated (didn’t think I had). So have to carry on with the injections and go for another scan Friday. I’ve not got a great feeling about it, I’ve normally got good sized ones by this point in my cycle so it seems strange that they are all still so small Sad

Bear1980 · 04/07/2018 20:12

Good news that you can go ahead closephine hopefully they will just take a couple of days to catch up.

Sorry you are feeling so sick ttc hopefully it means good news for your scan.

Glad things are progressing nicely tiny but sorry your partner wont be there for IUI.

Aww pickle I love taking the little ones swimming I took my nephew all the time from when he was a baby and have started taking my niece now. Glad you are doing well.

I went and signed consents for FET yesterday 😬. Nervous to be starting again but still have a few weeks so focussing on diet and exercise for now.

pickle162 · 04/07/2018 20:55

It's so so lovely isn't it.

Ooh best of luck bear, keeping everything crossed for you xx

TinyPaws · 04/07/2018 21:00

@closephine I don't think 12mm is that small? Mine is only 11mm and were about this size at this stage on the last cycle too. There's still time to grow.

closephine85 · 04/07/2018 21:21

Good luck for your FET bear! Will you do medicated or natural?

How many do you have at 11mm Tiny? I’m really hoping the Dr was just being cautious - it wasn’t the usual consultant so hopefully I’ll have a better day on Friday.

TinyPaws · 04/07/2018 22:42

Just 1 at 11mm but a further 2 at 10mm and 3 at 7-8mm. I probably would be more stressed last cycle was similar and I ended up with one nice dominant follicle, it just took a little time. I hope this one turns out the same. I'm sure I haven't ovulated yet as I get quite distinct ovulation symptoms.

TinyPaws · 04/07/2018 22:42

*but last cycle was similar

Mandy002 · 05/07/2018 19:04

Hi all just thought I'd pop up again to say hi. I'm midway through my cycle and have a scan to check lining on Tuesday morning so fingers crossed. Hope everything is going well with everyone and good luck @Bear1980 and anyone else at a major point sorry I haven't had a chance to read further down the posts but I've been crazy busy at work at the moment. Take care

Bear1980 · 05/07/2018 19:35

Thanks mandy and good luck to you hope all goes well this cycle. When are you transferring?

I am doing natural fet closephine, think my clinic tend to do natural if your cycles are regular.
